I work from home, so unless I can talk MVB into shipping orders in buckets of wallpaper adhesive, I'm SOL.
Cash is king. No record of how much you have spent. For online there is always gift cards.....
With all the problems with hackers lately, that may be the only way to go!

I started just dropping money in paypal and using that for my buying and selling. Helps a bit.

I have a droid too. e-smoker calculator.
You input when you quiet, how much a pack was, and what you have bought. It does the rest. It even has a widget that tells you how many cigs you avoided, how much you've saved totals after calculations.

You're there now? I ooze envy. We're heading out at 0700 tomorrow...hopefully in time to get some Chicago Pizza before the doors open.
Truth be told she's pretty supportive and she wasn't actually angry (much...and I DID splurge).
My allowance is enough for the basics (juice, cartos, etc.) and if I skip eating lunch out during the week I can afford some big ticket items once a month or so (been eating ravioli all week to save up for Vapebash).
I think I'll keep her...for now.
I had just gotten home when I posted that. It was awesome, but because I have allergies all the vape was getting to me. The place was packed, lots of good vendors. You will have a lot of fun there.
Was a guy at VapeBash that had 2 steampunk mods. Very cool. Didn't see anyone with a Billet Box, but I want one too.

I think I doubled my "likes given" count on this thread.
Fortunately my gf and I switched to vaping together so she gets it... she has 9 tanks, mostly Vivi Nova's, and a Joye eGo of some variety for each one lol. At least she's thrifty. There is no way we would have spent the kind of money we have on this "hobby" if we hadn't dropped an incredibly expensive habit.
I've found (and I was married for ~5 years) that if I really want to splurge on something nice for myself my other half doesn't have much to say if I've budgeted for something nice for her too. I get what I want AND I get to be around a happy woman
ps. I am also green with envy at those able to go to Vapebash. I know exactly zero people (excluding my lovely lady) in real life that vape, would LOVE to meet so many fellow vapers and see all the new goodies and actually get to meet some vendors face to face.

Yeah wish I could go do Vapebash myself. I'm hoping this vape meet that is forming in Dacula, GA in July turns out to be pretty fun. I'm looking forward to it.
I missed Vapebash I moved out of Illinois 5 years ago. Lived mostly in Aurora. What I really miss is Portillo's! I miss Italian beef, with Giardinara!!!! We have no such thing down here!

LMAO! This thread made my day so much happier after having such a crappy week.
I think my husband is trying to figure out how to cut me off because I've developed a serious Alice in Vapeland "problem" (I think I need a support group or something lol). I thought HE would be the one who ended up being more of a hobbyist vaper, but it ended up being me and he's quit vaping. It's a total reversal of our usual roles (me being more bookish, him being more of a tinkerer/techie type). He gets frustrated because I talk about vaping so much, but after enduring years of his ranting over mathematical this, or programming that, which isn't "my thing," I'm kind of relieved to have something I can go on about. Although I do try to shut up when I get that glazed look from him.

Yup...another reason to use my allowance...it's on a different card. I travel for work quite a bit so we only have one card...if I need cash I have to ask...

Awesome...we have a factory in Aurora. Spent a lot of time there working on the phone system. I can't remember how many times we ate at Portillo's...it was right up the road.
Egads...look at the time! Off to Vapebash!

This thread is great! I guess I have the perfect scam going on... He drops me off at Altsmoke and goes to the record store down the street so he never knows how much I spend. Hmmmm but then again I never know how much he spends either! LOL!!!
