just for you warp ;)

1. 6v+ devices all vape the same assuming they run the same voltage
2. 5v devices all vape the same assuming they run the same voltage
3. 3.7v devices all vape the same assuming they run the same voltage

More mAh = MORE BATTERY LIFE, not more overall power

Mods (Battery Tubes) Differ in the following ways:
1. Button Placement
2. Overall Design (1 piece, 2 piece, solder-free, adapters, etc...)
3. Voltages they run/Batteries they take

Moral Of The Story -- *Mods* as they are better known as, are simply battery holders. What makes them different is: design, the voltage they put through to the atomizer, batteries used as far as lifespan, and that is about it ...

Hey Steve,

You probably have seen me around here and noticed I dont say much at all and I never get involved in arguments but I just cant help myslef.

Are you that full of yourself that you felt the need to make a point by creating a whole new thread, and you know everyone will read it because your "Steve from Pure Smoker". Do you feel that you are lost in the "Crowded" other thread and you needed to rise above. You need to come down off of your soap box. You need to relax a little and let people give there negative opinions on your Prodigy without you ripping there heads off.

What happened to the old Steve that was always nice and never had a bad thing to say?

Well there you go I said it, and now I feel better...:D

haha ... hey cisco ...

this thread - in its entirety - was simply used to summarize the long post by warp ...

Normal Steve would bite his tongue ... The difference is, warp decided to insult both a PV pioneer and reviewer ... I don't stand for **** like that ....

I was sure you were going to bite my head off and you didn't....:D

Hi old Steve nice to meet ya...:)

lol ... cisco, if you look at my background, the only time PO'ed Steve appears are:

A) when someone insults a device (whether that be my own or another) And by this, I don't mean negative reviews, etc....
B) when someone insults a forum member

other then that ... i try to stay as level headed as possible. :)

Hey Steve I want to correct you on one thing. mAh has a lot to do with it. Discharge rating x mAh is Amp output. Amp x Volt = Watts = heat. More amp avail = no voltage drop = more steady power :)

I have to agree with the original sentiment that started all this off - a mod is nothing but a battery holder when it comes down to it. I agree that all the claims people make about theirs being the best is pointless, since we're all working in the same power ranges with the same equipment.

Every combination of atomizer/voltage/ battery size has pretty much been done, so it all comes down to personal preference. Mine may have good battery and juice capacity, but I'm not claiming it's the best for everyone - that's up for them to decide.

And some prefer to make thier own, its when they bash the ones who decided to make it for others that gets us spun up

I made my own for three reasons:

1. I have the ability
2. I wanted it my way with my options
3. I'm not going to pay a ton of money for something I can make myself

However, I agree that some of the prices people are charging for their mods is highway robbery - but if people are willing to pay that much, I can't really blame the maker.

I also agree that no one can really say theirs is the best of them all. I'm not bashing, just saying my mind.

My battery mod incorporates a charger....pics coming this week.....but not in this forum...bumn bumn bumnnnnn. Stay tuned for a all new exciting episode.

But anyways. A typical mod is just a big manual battery. The only thing that would separate it would be adjustable voltage, adjustable draw, etc.

Now that would be something to talk about.

Although, having a nice durable long lasting manual battery might be exciting.

The main problem with e-cigs are failing batteries. I think most mods have fixed that. Now when you start making your own atomizers, then i'll sing your praise.

You want a mod worth checking out. search the forum for GIGANTIC E-CIG

Not all batteries are the same. Cheap batteries have a lower C rating. How many amps (current) it can supply.
A 3.7volt at .5amp(C) battery is going to produce less vapor than a 3.7volt 1amp(C) battery.

Quite so. And within a particular brand range, larger, higher capacity batteries will tend to have a higher max curent capability (C).
