National reporter seeking ecigarette users in U.S. to interview

My name is Stephanie Armour and I'm a reporter working on a story about e-cig users being charged higher health insurance premiums by insurers. I am looking for people in the U.S. who have been charged more, like smokers -- especially those who may have switched to vaping as they try to quit smoking or as a healthier alternative. If this fits you and you're interested in sharing your thoughts, please contact me directly at 202-367-1339 through March 23, 2014. Thank you. I would need to use your name, age and location in the article.

I'm not being charged higher premiums because I vape, But I would like to see some real stories in the news or papers about how so many of us EX Smokers were able to Quit because of vaping, How so many of us are having no Ill effects and are being told by our doctors how much better our hearts and lungs look and sound. That story Id be happy to share

She seem receptive and willing to listen to it? I will call her tomorrow to talk I can even sit down over some lunch I'll be in DC tomorrow, I just don't want to waste her time for something she isn't interested in. It would be nice to have someone unbiased listen to reason and in a position to spread the truth via media outlet, someone who isn't sucked in by the governments BS propaganda. Id stay up all friggin night preparing for the meeting so I had all my ducks in a row to present.

I just finished a story written by Stephanie Armour about the food supply problem since the Federal Gov has backed off from inspections. She didn't hold back and researched her facts well. I would hate to be at the end of her pen....I can't wait to see how the medical insurance industry is coping with the fact ex-smokers may still use nicotine safely by Snus or Vaping.

I for one would like a real reporter to talk to vapers. We hear all this crap from people who have never smoked and haven't a clue what it entails. I don't think I have read about a researcher that even knows what it's all about. Yet they jump on any bandwagon that gets them a bit of publicity. I want hardcore, down to earth honesty and this is something that has been lost in this country.

I'm guessing it was a typo/autocorrect error for May...

Let's see. Stephanie joined this forum in May of 2014 and is requesting you to contact her through March 23, 2014.

She has ONE post and joined this forum in May 2014. Can someone tell me what I'm missing here to reply?

I think the underreported story that needs to be told is the story of the older smokers who have been smoking for DECADES, and SUDDENLy switched in days or weeks to ecigs/vaping without turning back.

The antzies are pushing the other end- the youth; the subohming youth; the novelty youth; hinting at the drug angle.

amen to that. i smoked 42yrs 2pad. quit analogs and ecig-alikes the second day i had an ego powered pv. e-cigs are already too expensive. they must have been made for children because i couldn't quit, only cut back with their use. still, they opened the door. that was 6 1/2 months ago and no way i will ever smoke again. i am into diy and have a horde to last the next year. if push is going to come to shove i will prepare for a couple decades by the gallon. i sent my story to the call to action and feel it falls on deaf ears. now what do we do? what petition do we sign before vapageddon occurs and countless lives are sent packing back to BT's grasp.
i don't have a problem if any person of legal age takes up vaping. i find no proof of harm from vaping. people will be irresponsible in their methods and with their childrens reach. there is no doubt harm can be achieved by choice. will a pregnant woman vape? 0mg. juice possibly?
do we need more laws to tell us what and how we can vape? i am thoroughly disgusted with how much greed can come into play with our freedoms as human beings. just trying to survive and have a healthier life.

We had a reporter in here before about 6mos ago, think they made one/two posts before never coming back. They wanted response too.... I don't hold out much hope.

I don't trust these "journalists". Take care in what you say to them. It seems pretty lazy to me to go onto a forum to try to get your story. Why not go to some vape shops and ask people in person? It's a bit fishy.
