Thank's Fire! I was thinking about including maybe they were referring to lack of tobaccos represented in Cali since from what I hear, that is the case down there. That's actually what Rpad had said, so much fruit and candy, so little tobacco in Cali because of the vaping culture there.

Want to know who I trust less than someone named Chas? A Charles who calls himself Chas when such an awesome name of Chuck already exists. Well, it was his parents who started that, so I can look past it :)

As far as Diesel, nope, no prob, awesome name, was joking before. (I really shouldn't piss off a big guy called Diesel :) )

The other message from Trabuco to me:

"So I read through the thread you linked and the speculation about us being a brand new company using our website as a showroom is completely correct. We just did a soft launch to a a few stores in California for batch #1 and we are still setting up with our online payment processor but will have sales available through the website pretty soon. Right now our juice is available at Funky Vapor in Alhambra, VāP Vaporizers in Costa Mesa, Stay Vaped in San Jose and as of last night Vape2o in Anaheim as well. Most of these shops will do phone orders or online orders though.

As far as samples go, we don't usually send them out to private parties because we are trying to be as conservative as possible with our extract since it takes so damned long to make the stuff and we are petrified of getting behind on stock. New company jitters I guess. However, I really appreciate you reaching out to us so in this case I'd be more than happy to send you something so just let me know where you want it sent and I will make that happen.

Again, thank you so much for reaching out to us and sharing that thread.

Cheers!

-Chas"

I wish them well. :)

But at that price point, I won't be playing. :(

Yep, to be fair though, it's probably a good Cali B&M price which sounds to be their market. For us though.. it's asking a lot. I'd pay that amount if I already knew I liked it, or ran out of new NETs to try (which won't happen anytime soon).

I'm personally willing to pay $22 for the St James Parish and any other RB I turn out liking. And $13.50 for 15ml of Ahl's aros, which I know I like.

Oh, I agree, they are certainly in the ballpark for high-end vendors, especially when compared to B&M prices.

I'm just dreadfully spoiled by the Ahlusion "super-customer" experience! :p

I generally get the 30 ml for just a few dollars more
lately I have been lowering my nic leval
There are some I can do at 6mg
but the tobacco's generally at 9mg

with the aero's my issue is with them being like reverse steeper's
to mix them 60 ml is just too much and 2 15 ml's at that price is a lot

I really don't want to order another 12 mg but with the aero's I may have too

First impressions of Natural Tobacco from Prime Vaping. Ordered during Black Friday sale at 70% PG with extra flavor.

Natural Tobacco is a fitting name for this. The flavor, like the name, is about as basic as you can get for a NET. It tastes like a straight up maceration of simple tobaccos. In a generous mood I would call it subtle, in a critical mood I would call it boring.

A little bit earthy and grassy, inoffensive and unassuming, a little bready/wet dog soak taste. Potentially awesome as a first vape in the morning to get that morning cig feel. Other than an on-the-go or first vape in the morning, it may work well as a..... palate cleanser?

Jerms, well, Jerms. You should've tried it with normal flavor. I tried it both ways and couldn't discern which was which. They are fine though considering when they hit the scene (a looooong time ago).

@Eleanor - I couldn't agree more - I simply won't do anything close to a $1/ml. My vape budget is small enough as it is, and the last thing I need is to get hooked on an expensive juice. I don't know where these people get off even charging that much when there is a ton of awesome juice (A+ for example) that is less than half that cost. I hope Mr. Chas reads this and rethinks the pricing strategy accordingly. Maybe skip the fancy wax sealed cork and glass bottles, and come back down to earth...please...I'm actually interested in your juices :).

Basically, I'm not sure if it gets better than Ahlusion's aros and if it does, it better be more than twice as awesome to justify more than twice the price.

I bought my first bottle of PV Natural Tobacco (and Nostalgia also, PV's NET-chocolate blend) way back in May 2011. I vaped a lot of both in the early days of NETs. I bought my last bottle of each in March of 2012. By that time, the NET wave had begun in earnest, and other NETs (from GeJ, Ahlusion, and HHV) were passing those two PrimeVaping NETs like they were standing still.

I think I have about 20mls of each remaining in my juice cellar/dungeon/graveyard. I agree that they're very grassy. I'd also have to admit (in spite of my liking Jon and Donna, the owners of PrimeVaping) that I no longer like either Natural Tobacco or Nostalgia at all. To me personally, they aren't worth vaping anymore, although they retain a meaningful place in my vaping history, even though that's now ancient history.

Going back in the original thread, noone really got excited about PV's NETs. Compared to what else is available it's pretty ho-hum. It does have more flavor than I expected, my set-up can pull flavor from pretty light juices, but what's there is so basic and simple, no wonder you didn't look back after discovering other NET vendors.

I'll try the Natural Virginia tomorrow, I'm hoping for a nice grassy finish. I'm most excited about the Strawberry which was recommended by you, which was the main reason I picked PV for a Black Friday order, along with the great sale they offered at the time.

Speaking of pricey NETs:

photo (34).jpg

These came courtesy of Brian, but when I can find the time to sit down with them, I will give them an honest take. Kinda sad, but I was really wanting to try the non-NETs, but this was left up to Brian as to what he was going to send.

Just off the nose of RBFS liquids, Dagwood's Wife and Poet and Scholar are the ones calling me first--I guess I'll first try the others that aren't calling me as much. I'll have to decant these into smaller drippers since they didn't come with droppers.

Jerms, did DWIT have a touch of anise to the nose? I don't think it's in there necessarily, but it is quite interesting just off the whiff-test. It almost doesn't smell like a maceration, but all the rest are reminiscent of a GeJ NET.

Capistrano (burley, virginia, blueberry, vanilla) and Blackstar (virginia, graham cracker) have piqued my interest.

Agreed, those peaked my interest and I was all ready to order... I'm miffed that they're teasing us.

Add; I just caught up, and agree they are a bit pricey, I'll stick with Ahlusion and GeJ to supplement my cheap macerations.

Haven't even cracked the seal on DWiT yet, opening them as I try them.

Yeah I guess VW doesn't find drippers necessary with glass bottles. Packaging fail IMO. And the mouth is too wide for regular glass drippers to fit them. I don't care, I just store in glass and transfer what I'm vaping in PET bottles for dripping, but what about vapers who don't have bottles on hand?
