Probably best to not get comfortable with them. Mom & Pop has turned into the synthetic version of NET.com.

Oh I hate to hear that. A couple years ago they were my go to vendor. I quit vaping for about a year and a half and for some reason, never reordered from them. Probably because the vendor had choices exploded when I returned.

Just finished my macerated NET fire cured leaf, soaked it for about 30 days in PG/VG.Strained it a few times.I have about 350 ML's of pure fire cured concentrate.Down to a couple bottle of MOV gambler/rambler and quicnics fire in the hole.I did start working on some "black fire/adirondike".I maybe put a little too much cream in it,not enough bite and too sweet.Ima learnin.Ordered a oak barrel for some new leaf I bought, virginia, burley and some different flue and fire cured leaf.Interesting stuff.Just gettin it right then lettin it age is a challenge in itself.

:(

That's too bad, they've been on my to-try list for ages but haven't gotten around to it yet. Sounds like I may not get that chance. The little experience I've had with TA I've really enjoyed. I've read M&P does TA really well, but luckily they aren't the only ones.

Have you tried using a 5/64 drillbit? I believe they are the same size as a toothpick, and would be easier to slide out. Not as handy as a toothpick, but may make the process easier on you.

5/64 doesn't fit in the slot of most kanger coils. 1.8 mm would be the perfect size for kanger coils in my experience. 1/16 is a little loose in the slot and makes leg termination a little tricky, and may cause horizontal bias ( yeah Clinire, it's MacTech terminology ! )

Yea Jerms, some vendor's let things get ahead of them it seems. Trying to cut corners by not hiring enough people to stay ahead of orders, or whatever. I've seen some go under and some come back like Vape Dudes. They did the smart thing and quit taking orders until they caught up and trained some new employees. The ones who keep taking orders and fall farther and farther behind lose their reps and fail. Trouble at NET.com and M&P, downright fail and close like Little Shop of Vapors all in recent months come to mind. although LSV, I think, died of being too kind. The girl working there messed up orders and the owner would go out of his way to fix thing by giving away free stuff. The free stuff was nice but getting a wrong or DOA order gets old after two or three times. Gotta have experienced employees. On the job training without close supervision will get you every time.

In my experience you can fit a 5-6 micro-coil without any problems. The NR-R-NR wires make for longer lasting silicon gaskets. I'm waiting on the 1.3 Ohm wires to see how they do, as the 1.5's worked fine for me.

i think you misunderstand what i mean. I mean the diameter of a 5/64 screwdriver won't sit in the bottom of the slot of most kanger coils. I am not talking about how many wraps of a particular guage wire can fit in the slot. 12 wraps of 28 could fit in the slot, if you do a tightly wrapped tensioned microcoil.

I understand what you mean about the ID of a coil. The recommended way for these wires to match their ohm rating is a 16 g needle. Works for me, horizontal bias or not. :2c: :)

Ordered Gung-Ho today, Oorah is a great juice and this is the NET brother. Indigo's synthetic tobaccos are among the best out there IMO, I'm a pretty big fan of their base.

Thank you for this nugget - because of it, I placed an order yesterday for Gung-Ho and Creekside, as well as Oorah! to compare (it's been a while since I had it). Not gonna miss those with 20% off this weekend! This will be my first foray into NETs - I've been wanting to for a while, but my regular rotation has me sort of pinned to the wall financially. Always had intentions to try other vendors (HHV, BWB, etc) but you get comfortable, ya know? Saves on shipping, too. If these are good, I'll have more go-to's with one vendor that I trust.

k fair enough ...then i don't know what you mean, by a 5-6 micro coil. I'm also not sure what you mean by a 1.3 or a 1.5 ohm wire, unless you are talking about pre-cut wires. Clinire has been frequenting a different thread about t.m.c's and kanger coils, and a specific way of wrapping the coil ( directly off the spool ) and it's placement and leg termination. My response was directed toward her, really. I didn't mean to cast doubt about your way of recoiling. If what you're doing works for you, that's good enough for me.

I fired up my KLF Tibeco for the first time with my homemade Winminister Cavendish, wow what a difference a tank makes. Same power and yet subtly's are bought out that I hadn't noticed before. If I can just get confinent enough in the KLF build this will be my ADV because unfortunately it clogs up the kanger coils too fast.
