I've seen that medicinal taste comment a couple times lately. I can only chalk it up to people experiencing something 180 degrees apart from what they're used to.

I find that to some extent each of the flavored aros pulls off that marriage of the tobacco to the paired flavor. Curious what you think of Cocoa Blend, which I'm very fond of.
Yes, I've made that comment and yes, they are completely different from what I am accustomed to. And for the the third time, yes, I too enjoy Cocoa Blend. :) I'm also digging the Caribbean Blend. Maple Burley is still the bomb for me. Vurley was one I fairly liked also.

Fired up an old Phoenix v5 atty with dual coils, 1 Ω, KGD cotton wicks. Threw in some well aged MOV Southern Gentleman (18 mg nic) and am trying not to vape myself into a nic coma! The v5 with adjustable airflow is the best large chamber atty I've tried for flavor. Southern Gentleman remains a favorite and it's rokin' my boat today!:D

Happy 4th to everyone! My body is enjoying the day off as work has been hectic lately. Ribs and roasting ears on the smoker. Doesn't get much better than that.

Happy 4th to you buddy, and to everyone else! I also got to indulge in some ribs, and the best corn bread I've ever had. Been a fun day, but also a long one, so happy to be back home with my lady SGP. May switch out to Smokin' Cherries shorty to see how that one's doing these days. It smelled very cherry-y, and Ahl does a damn good cherry.

It was pointed out today that the only ARO's on Ahlusion's site now are Bluegrass Burley and Devil Dog.

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note II using Tapatalk.

I really hope they are out of stock and not discontinued. If they are no longer going to sell them, that would really, really, really suck. Really.

You and Cherry are getting me excited about the Cocoa Blend! Maybe tomorrow. Maple Burley is a revelation, and I find Vurley quite magical. Caribbean Blend I was never interested in trying.

They've had dry spells before. Probably just hasn't gotten around to extracting some batches. Or he's waiting for the fresh flavorings from China.

They have been out of stock of some aros several times, but they just listed them that way. I don't think they've ever removed them from the menu while being out of stock, have they?

Sparking up Smokin' Cherries right now. There is something odd going on here. This certainly isn't the Smokin' Cherries I had last time. The cherry is totally different. There's a strong note that seems, and I hate to say it lol, medicinal. Did Wlad choose a different cherry? Completely different flavor, not sure if this is going to work for me.

I was a little worried loading up Cocoa Blend after SC. But... phew. This is awesome! Best chocolate tobacco I've had. Well, that's not saying much, I can't think of any choco-baccos that stood out for me. Think I'm really going to dig this! Will give more details after vaping it more, just releaved there's not the sharp off note. Probably do a review of this one eventually.

Anyone tried the Just Criminal from Ahl?

I like Cocoa Blend mainly because it is made with more of a cocoa powder versus the creamy chocolate in Just Criminal. I am not into chocolate vapes in general, but I think the cocoa helps to dry the vape, if you will. I don't know, it just softens the blend for me. Just Criminal was not bad by any means. I just greatly prefer the original and Peachy Criminals.

Thanks! I'll stick to the 10ml size when I try JC.

Indigo just released their new line of Nets and they're having a 20% off sale through the 6th. I tried all of their synthetics at a local vape shop and thought they were decent so I'd speculate their NETs should be good.

Ordered Gung-Ho today, Oorah is a great juice and this is the NET brother. Indigo's synthetic tobaccos are among the best out there IMO, I'm a pretty big fan of their base.

Does anyone know if vaperite changed their VR4? I just received a new bottle and it has a fancy red label, I'm afraid to open it to top of my KFL.

I live down the street from the main VapeRite store in Woodstock, GA. Last time I bought there (maybe a couple of weeks ago?) I noticed they had new bottles. Most noticeable thing to me was that the tip at the top has a much smaller opening in it. Probably smaller to make it easier to fill tanks without splashing around. I didn't see a red label or anything though.

They have an online chat on their web site, but they're probably not open at this hour yet. Wait or send them an email?

I want to put in a good word about Milan Chartwell pipe blend.

Described as a balanced mix of "Latakia, Turkish, sliced Burley, and a hint of plum on the finish. Overall, a light-bodied English blend."

I extracted this tobacco in late May, and it's starting to come into its own now after a month and a half. Another English blend for people who don't ordinarily like the smoky Latakia that gives English blends their characteristic taste. Chartwell's flavor isn't remotely like any other 21 pipe blends I've extracted. As a natural flavoring for vaping, I'm not sure I'd call it an English blend. Although I'm aware of the Latakia on inhale, I can't really distinguish any of the tobaccos as distinct elements. I also don't know whether the plum is a casing or a natural or synthetic flavoring added during blending as a topping. Like the tobaccos, I can't actually discern the plum as a flavor per se. It's very subtle, and I suspect that the plum helps to unify the various tobaccos into a single overall taste, which happens to be delicious. So, it's a hybrid tobacco without emphasis on the hybrid. My brain gets a lovely tobacco flavor that's light and almost refreshing (thanks probably to the Turkish), with good body and just the right amount of smoothness, richness, and creaminess, but without those latter qualities calling attention to themselves. Every element adds to the whole; nothing detracts. It's terrific.

I highly recommend Milan Chartwell to all the home extractors on the thread.

Bill, I agree your Milan Chartwell is a top shelf vape and would be a good introduction to English blends for home extractors. Not nearly as aggressive or bold and sweeter than more traditional English blends, it is easily an all day vape.

Milan Centenary has become my go-to straight English blend and I recommend it also.
