I've got half a tin left. It's yours in our next swap.

I was standing over my juices thinking, "which one should I try?" I was debating sweetness ratios and topping flavorings. Then I decided to go with that golden oldie I have been neglecting. I filled my Mini PT3 with Orlik and ,as my grandma would say, I'm pleased as a peach. No complex flavorings to sort through. No casings to grow weary of. There is just the luxurious taste of smooth Virginias with a nice dark perique body note. The perfect choice for an easy Sunday. Age simply makes this juice better every day.

Thanks again to Boomer.

I did the SAME EXACT THING yesterday. I went so far as to dump my final drops of Boomer's Orlick into the Billet Box. Good, damn good. Man, it gunks way quicker than I remember...a risk I knowingly and joyfully take with Boomer's brews, but I am talking less than 2 ml here.

A damn good juice and one if those that was one I many key moments in my vaping adventures

Hi everybody here,

We are a french (small) group, lovers of NETs tobacco like you ! We really need your advise please.
In France you get only 2 solutions : make your own, this implies the uncertainty of result, or buy HOL, very good for my taste (guevara/reserve/puros) but not a lot of choice.
We are looking in your country to get them so we appreciate your help.
I'ved opened a thread on the french forum few days ago, for tobacco extracts concentrates Tabacs Naturels - NETs, absolus... : Arômes et additifs
There is not much at the moment, but we hope that the discussion will improve...
One of the members tried NET.com and recommend it to us as being excellent, even if he wait 5 months to get the bottles , I've ordered 10 extracts and was assured by Chelsae that they reach me in 10 days. Got the tracking n° and it's on his way now.
We are looking only for extracts/concentrates not premixed liquids. I've ordered those :
Air-Cured Burley
Balkan
Big Spirit
Choctaw Perique
Cognac Infused
Flue-Cured Virginia
Sun-Cured Turkish
H+Yellow-Mane
Fire Cured Burley
Bombay
NS Dark
NS Brown
Latakia
Any good ?
Our question is NET.com a right choice for us and what are the others brands similar in quality alternatives, incline to ship to France ?

Thank you very much in advance for your replies ;)

As far as quality of product goes, N-E-T.com makes and sells extremely good NET juices and extracts made from simple-soak macerated natural tobacco. Whether or not N-E-T.com is a good choice for you as far as other considerations---price, shipping, prompt delivery, etc.---depends on other factors. Based on your large first order, you'll have the information to make those decisions soon enough.

The list of NET vendors on the first post of this thread notes which vendors ship internationally.

You mention the "uncertainty of result" with making your own NETs. I have personally produced more than 40 macerated extracts, and I find no uncertainty at all in the process, at least compared to the risk and investment, which are minimal. Making home-based macerated extracts is straightforward and easy. When done with common sense and a modest amount of savvy, the results are superb. Numerous posters here have tried my homemade NET extracts and juices, and I feel confident that they will agree that mine are on a par with offerings from the best retail NET vendors.

I think your group would benefit greatly in enjoyment, enthusiasm, and camaraderie if just one or two of your members starts home-extracting natural tobacco. A single ounce of tobacco can yield enough extract from a simple, quick maceration to make 500-750ml of DIY NET eliquid. That's 20 bottles of 30ml each. And four or five extracts can be made at a time.

A number of long threads on ECF are dedicated to making natural tobacco extracts at home. Two of those threads are linked below. i hope you'll check them out.

Slow Cooker Extraction of Tobacco
Cold Maceration of Tobacco

Trust me: Anyone who knows his way around a kitchen can do this. A big pot for the water bath, some glass jars with lids for the macerations, and a drip-coffee cone for filtering are the only required equipment, besides supplies of liquid nic, PG/VG, paper or poly felt filters, storage bottles for the extracts, and dropper bottles for the DIY NETs liquids you'll make. The time spent is well worth the effort, and the cost of wonderful homemade NETs is ridiculously low compared to buying retail NETs and shipping them to France.

Welcome. I've had a few of those and found them quite good. Balkan is a very good Latakia blend. Big Spirit is a fantastic cig NET; voted #1 in it's category by us last year. H+ is an extracted Drew Estate ACID Blondie cigar extraction, which makes for a very unique flavor. The other cigs and the single varietals you've chosen I haven't had, but are highly recommended by many here.

It'll be quite a different flavor experience compared to HoL, hope you like them. There are several other A-tier vendors on the first post here that ship internationally, marked with an asterisk by their name.

Mine is mixed at 17% and nearly 80% PG. I make it 2.2 ml if I'm lucky. It is worth it though.

I agree with you on wrapping ones own coils and such 100%. I also drool at the posted comments on the thread about the various drippers and coils etcetera.
It is totally awesome that you are volunteering to help me get the courage and confidence to build them next time we get together. Magnum here I come! :headbang:
Since we'll probably be in your city, I'll bring the magnum!! You just need an atty or two.:2cool:

Sutliff Private Stock - Charlemagne Pipe Tobacco loaded up in a KFL wicked with Rayon. Started it off at 10W and it's SO good! The Black Cav steals the show and right away tickled the nose and back of my throat. There's a sweetness to it, and yet it's slightly pungent when you inhale the vapor. The Burley is toned down enough that there's no nuttiness coming through. It's slightly on the drier side, with a nice mild-mid feel to it. Tough to nail down the exact flavours but I'm hoping that I pick up some of the nuances as I go along with it this evening.

I am in so much trouble with this last order from MVJ, so many good choices, but I should have no trouble meeting her $100 requirement for International shipping.

Another thumbs up!

Thanks a lot all of you!

To resume, if we want range A concentrates to be shipped in France, today we have 2 choices : NET.com or MVJ, is that correct ? There is quite a big difference on the price of the extracts, MVJ is much cheaper, is there a difference on the quality of the extracts ?

Bill, I think that on a short term basis, I'll definately try to make my own. I guess even using cold process, the nicotine should not macerate and must be added once the mixture is ready to be vaped ?

MVJ makes a high quality product. The main difference is in the filtration methods. The MVJ is going to be a little more subtle in flavor, but cleaner and crisper. Netcom is more earthy and "raw" feeling. Both are great just different experiences.

When macerating your own tobacco the nicotine extracted is minimal. You will have to add your own.

Thanks Mike. Sorry for my english! I was wandering at what point should the nicotine be added. Same time with the other ingredients or after ?

What extracts would you recommend us from MVJ ?

Add the nicotine when mixing your unflavored base and the tobacco extract. That seems to be the standard way.

My recomendations would include the Cohiba Red Dot, 5 Vegas Cask Strength, CAO Italia, Gurkha Legend 2001, Dunhill Early Morning, Drew Estate 7th Avenue Blond, and Drew Estate Meat Pie.

You treat your extract just like you would use a DIY flavoring. In other words you add anywhere from 17-20% for pipe tobacco and 20-25% or more for cigar extracts. That goes in your base of PG/VG and nicotine. Steeping is required for the juice you make.

You can use a glass jar, like a large baby food jar. Pour in about 80 mls of PG and heat it to 150F. Then start adding your chosen tobacco. Once the tobacco absorbs as much PG as it can take you top off the PG until it just covers the tobacco. Remove from heat cap the jar and store it in a room temperature dark space. Once a week you can re-heat the jar and mix up the extract. Four to six weeks for pipe tobacco and six to eight weeks for cigars. When your extract is ready you can filter it several different ways. I use an coffee press. Some use cotton place at the needle end of a 20-30 ml syringe. Filter your extract into a bottle and label it. There you have it. I have done 70+ extracts, many on your list. It is for all intents and purposes the same extract you buy from extract vendors. The difference? No international shipping shipping and pennies per ml instead of half francs.
