I have a jar of Lane Bulk BCA I haven't gotten around to filtering yet. Clay makes a very fine black cavendish: I still have a lot of practice to put in before getting to his level.

8 y/o and in 3rd grade, fast indeed!

I have Meat Pie on my P&C wishlist, I still have ~4 Cigars, four Tins and 5 pouches of tobacco awaiting maceration... 5 pipes brewing at the moment, Cold Maceration in a cupboard... I'm good for ~18 months.

I know the feeling. I just broke out that bottle of Groovy Blue and finished it off, enjoyed a bit of Nub Cameroon and have went back to my Frenchy's lately. Tried the XXX blend, mixed it way too strong (20% is strong for this one) and haven't quite decided which I feel like extracting. Truth is, I just haven't felt like it with the moving around and all.

Honestly, I think I may just do the C&D Big & Burley next. I always tend to go back to Burley after a while. For me, vaping it makes me feel pretty level and I enjoy just savoring it. Latakia has been a bit rough on me after vaping "normal" flavors for a little while, but man did it make me absolutely not want to smoke when I was stressed.

Still have a few ml left of the old discontinued latakia-I-can't-remember-the-name-of extract, which I'll probably ignore for a good while. Just need to transfer it into smaller bottles now. I've got to get my Perique fix, so those blends will be next in the queue (Anniversary Kake and Flake & Perique) after the Big & Burley.

This is the longest I've aged NETs before extracting them, so they're somewhere inbetween a heat extract & cold maceration at this point. I'm looking forward to them, but not so much I want to rush and goof up the filtering in a rush to taste them.

Speaking of which, I've been doing that with an Avocado 24. Can't stick it in my pocket and just "go", but it's got great flavor and has been doing well with all the NETs I toss at it. New bag of cotton labo arrived from Japan, so I have absolutely no qualms replacing wicks now. Not missing goofing them up all the time, now it's just measure once, cut once, taper and stuff in the juice holes.

Admittedly, trying these "newer" flavors is making me want to break out the Plume Veil or Magma just to bring back memories of when we added dozens (ok, maaybe not that many) of pages weekly to this thread.

I probably haven't been bringing you all my 'essays' so often because of the amount of time I used to spend writing them, but I've also had less free time. I really need to get these filtered so I have something more recent to discuss, as I've only really had TINOs from commercial sources due to a rather annoying problem with paypal. I also dropped down to 5-6mg from my previous 18, so I've had to dilute anything that is stronger to avoid getting terribly overdosed on nicotine.

With NETs, and me having gone away from them for a short time and to regular juice.... I just feel there's an itch they scratch that no other juice quite can. Some come close, though, but I'd rather have a good NET juice over combustion. It just preserves the taste and gives me the same good feels...better, if you consider the "no bronchitis" perk.

That's all for now.

Latakia has been a bit rough on me after vaping "normal" flavors for a little while,

For me, I find after about hour #4 of vaping a heavy Latakia mix, things start leveling out to the complete enjoyment point. It makes me wanna go build a fire in the pit out back and spend all evening making dinner out of roasting marshmallows. :)

Just a suggestion on Perique's to try, i my opinion. The truest Perique flavor I have ever extracted is Gawith, Hoggarth & Company's Louisiana Perique Flake tobacco, bar none. followed by Cornell & Diehl's long cut Perique.
As to my favorite flavors recently, I have been on a kick from Cornell & Diehl called Autumn Evening and also C & D's Joie De Vive.
Those are just some friendly suggestions in case you or anyone else might be interested.

@checkum , question for you concerning the Gawith, Hoggarth & Company's Louisiana Perique Flake tobacco: It may have to do with the combustion factor of actually smoking this in a pipe, but I've read where folks get a floral, soapy or baby powder kick from this mix. IYO, does this translate when extracted and vaped?

Just a couple hours left till the Big & Burley extract finishes it's gravity drip.

Quite excited. Covered the top of the Aeropress and made sure it was sitting on a large-but-still-snug coffee cup to prevent the flavors from volatilizing too quickly, and stuck inside of a dresser about eleven hours ago.

I took my time with the initial, double-coffee-filter press (used two stacked rather than 1-3 aeropress filters) as if I was making Aeropress coffee in the usual manner, and slowly gave it literal left elbow grease to take advantage of the vacuum created.

Re-reading that makes me think that "left elbow grease" sounds a a bit off, though I'm sure that won't affect the taste of the end product.

I'll probably do a whole 30ml this time rather than a 10ml sampler: probably at around 15% with 5mg 60/40 (I've got to use my VG up as it's starting to approach the end of its shelf life, but I have had my share of max VG juice as of late...Can't have it too many days in a row, though)

Smell of the extract, the last I checked, was a deep smokey aroma. I'll probably look at pictures of the tobacco while I vape it the first time, though. It's something I have a habit of doing when it comes to NETs.

Not at all. The slight sour or what some think of as mustiness comes through. Gawith, Hoggarth Louisiana flake is the only tobacco that has captured the true taste of Perique. Many companies hide/cover up the taste with other tobaccos or flavorings fearing some customers may not really like the true taste of Perique. True, some love it some do not. I do.

I transferred the MVJ extracts from the plastic 75 ml bottles Diane sent them in, to cobalt blue and Amber brown Boston bottles with caps and some
with dripolators.

As I was doing this I smelled each bottle of juice just to gauge its flavor and take in the bouquet. Some of the varietals had no scent at all but there are quite a few in the pipes extracts that smell heavenly.

Obsidian Pipe smells pungent and heavy in either orientals or Latakia. On the nose it reminds me of Paris from Want2vape. The Meat Pie also smells incredible. I can tell even from the nose there is a lot going on with that juice. A few others really got my attention from the scent as well. These include Cornell and Diell Old Joe Kranz and Blue Danube (can't remember if it's Sutliff, drew estate or another manufacturer).

I am really looking forward to mixing these. I just have to wait for my supply of PG and VG to arrive.

I have so much extract and don't know what to do with it. If I was in the US I would gladly share some of the mixed juices with you all. I wish I could sell some of this stuff but Australian laws make it tough.

Story of my life. I have 50% left from my first order with NET.com from 3 years ago and about 95% from last order. I call it 'steeping' lol.

'I will put in a big order to give it time to steep and I will vape the last order in the time being'.

Just wanted to throw this out there. I am getting extremely good results using a Limitless Plus RTDA. Been getting over 10 mils before I dryburn and even then, could probably get another tank out of it; I just dryburn out of habit because I feel I should. In truth, the gunk is not restricting at that point.

I think the life is so good because the wicks are always wet. The only difficulty I had was learning how to wick it, once I learned how to "brush" the wick and got the length down, it has worked flawlessly.
