When I made te move from cigalikes toy first PV...an ego-c twist, I did so at what I now known as a super elite B&M ( in terms of stock, vendors carried, and service) and I didn't know NET existed. I explained what I wanted and as such they sold me Prime vaping - Nostaligia. That is the first juice I ever vaped. Is that an NET? Anyone tried it and had thoughts?

Sure is a NET. According the site, it's the same Natural Tobacco I was vaping with chocolate malt flavoring added. Was it any good?

I don't feel that QuickNic ouR whY qu4tro has more of an NET feel than the other NET-based RY4s, but (as ECF's resident "authority" on RY4s, LOL) I can state without hesitation that ouR whY qu4tro is hands down the pick of the NET-based RY4 litter. Fresh from the package, it's vibrant and beautifully balanced, with great flavors that make for a delicious custom RY4, one of the best ever.

If you order a bottle, however, plan to vape it up quickly, because it's fantastic for about two months, but then steadily reverse-steeps itself into a less amazing juice. Oh, it's still good when older---worth having and vaping---but the astonishing, almost breathtaking beauty of its youth fades, morphing into a more conservative, solid-citizen middle age. When fresh, it's like an a capella trio of three wonderful voices that complement each other perfectly. Think the early Motown recordings of The Supremes. Later on, the tobacco becomes like Diana Ross taking over as the diva/lead singer, while the delicious caramel and vanilla recede into supporting roles, providing competent but less exciting background vocals.

Even then, though, ouR whY qu4tro's tobacco remains my favorite of all the NET-based RY4s. It's more a tasty cigarette taste than a pipe blend or cigar flavor.

This is one of the greatest posts I have ever read here.

But know this, he does have a straight-up Latakia Blend! Oh, and just from the nose of it, it ain't playin' 'round! I think it will be available at some point.
I love Latakia rich blends but straight up it is very intense and very smokey! As much as I want "in your face" flavors, Latakia is so much so that it is enjoyable only for short durations. If you haven't tried it unblended, be prepared for a jolt!

It smelled more aggressive and raucous than DD!. I am slightly afraid of it, but I would take it on when the device is right (at least for short sessions).

I saw talk in Clay's thread of mixing 50/50 his Latakia and fire cured Burley varietals. Yowsa!

I'm more looking forward to the other two Brian talked about in the interview, the caramel tobacco and a tobacco with chocolate and vanilla notes. I am curious how a straight Latakia plays though. Gotta be a huge smoky kick.

Good decision. It is so smokey, it will have you checking your atty to see if you've fried it. Pretty much gives you that "you need to drip" flavor all the way through.

I've tried that blend and like it but it ain't for the faint of heart! The HHV crowd won't dig it for sure. I actually like the Fire Cured Burley as a stand alone better than the blend. Don't know where Clay found that tobacco but I'm looking for it.

I just looked in my bag that Brian gave me (it's huge) and the Latakia and Count Caramel are in there too! Man, I may have to get that RBA set-up soon because this Count Caramel is enticing. I don't know if it will replace my desire for CWW, but it smells tasty in an straight-up NET way, but with caramel. He is not adding any other flavors, but it's amazing how much caramel is leaping out of the bottle just from the casing.

Lucky! I think the chocolate and vanilla one was going to be called something like The Admiral, see that in there? How about Hound Dog, the peanut butter banana? I'm a little excited and a little scared of that one.

I hear ya cluckin' big chicken.

I've really kept my cost down by vaping what I buy. It is a challenge sometimes, resisting the urge to buy more when there's so much I want to try and re-orders I want to make. I'm glad I do it though. I've often found stuff to appreciate from a mediocre juice that I stuck with.

As long as it's vapable I'll vape it, I've only tossed a handful of juices. Truth is, I don't NEED to be vaping my favorites 24/7, nor do I really want to. There's hobby vaping, that is thinking about and actively enjoying a flavor, and then there's times where I'm just vaping for the nicotine and not really thinking about it, such as when company comes over or being out-and-about. Vaping the juices that don't wow me helps me appreciate the ones that do. I don't force myself to vape bad juice, I just don't make it a requirement to always vape great juice.

Plus, I just don't like wasting juice. If something is bad that can't be fixed by Frankenjuicing and no one wants it for a PIF, I'll toss it, but I research what I'm buying enough to make that fairly rare. The last one was Highbrow's RY4. I found it horrid, offered to give it away in about 4 threads with no takers lol. I did find a use for it... it made excellent bait in a fruit fly trap. Nictotine is a great insecticide.

Easy to not buy when you re the resident PIF toilet!!!

Lol

Speaking of which, it was Uncle BJ who sent you the highbrow ry4. As that was the only tobacco other than PV Nostaligia I had tried to that point, I was actually hooked on it for a short while...then I found this thread. I tried it again after 4 months of NET and I couldn't vape it.

Too much booty in the pants. I don't know what I have, let alone all that I saw.

It's fun trying new English pipe blend NETs because while they all have a similar feel, there's subtle differences to pick out that keeps new ones interesting. Porch Rocker from RBFS contains Burley, Virginia, Latakia, Flake, and Perique, and is a worthy addition to the amazing line-up of available English Blends such as Apache, Devil Dog, London, Balkan, and others.

I'm getting less Latakia than those, which may make it more accessible to some. While it lacks the big KICK of Devil Dog and Apache, it's still more noticable than some Latakia blends like Southern Gentleman and Sultan's Blend. The less smokiness is made up for by a strong Perique presence, which adds a woodsy and slightly funky flavor. Like other multi-leaf blends, there's complexity that really makes me want to think over what I'm tasting. Very nice flavor, but those looking for a big smoky kick may want to wait for the Latakia that River Bottom plans to release soon.

I too am an easy lay when it comes to English Pipe Blends. For the reasons you stated, I highly recommend toying with NETCOM single varietals! I am still dipping into my DD!, but I haven't touched London or GNC since I found a NETCOM SV blend that worked for me

Man, it baffles me how people can stomach, much less like, that Highbrowbacco. Truly horrid, I'd vape Ravyn before that one.

I honestly don't remember. Had a bit if a perfumey, artificial flavor next to the hardcore, unadulterated NET I prefer. It seemed it tasted like a tobacco store smells...but that translated to a overly played TASTE. Hmmm, maybe I will try again. In the meantime, looks like I have to PIF to you again Jeremy. PM me your address again. :)

Also, I've only received a few packages from people on this thread. I'm not near the PIF toilet I'd like to be.

Lol, thanks but I'm good. The NET Natural Tobacco is just OK to me, not really wanting to see it paired with a perfumey artificial chocolate. Even this bottle I bought will last a long time, I don't see grabbing for it often.

I've had Ravyn dude, bite thy tongue

I should win a NETy award for my breakdown of Ravyn and an extraction on bidis. One if the most remarkable things I have accomplished in life. Man, that stuff was a trip, dude

I know you have, I was giggling when I sent it to you lol.

I still have some Ravyn.. just waiting to find the right person to surprise with it. It still smells nice, but I'd regret vaping it. Highbrowbacco smell though.. my god.

I appologize to anyone reading who likes that stuff. I just really don't see how. It smells like hazardous material.

BJ,

I just dug up my bottles of PrimeVaping Nostalgia and Natural Tobacco. That makes it sound like I exhumed them from their graves, which is poetically accurate if not literally true. I atty-dripped some of each. With the caveat that both bottles are going on two years old, my experience of them now (not having vaped either for the past year) is that the tobacco in both, which is presumably the same extract, does indeed taste like a macerated NET, but the flavor is somewhat muddy and undistinguished. If I had to guess, I'd say that Virginia and Burley were used for the extract. The chocolate/cocoa or malt added to Nostalgia doesn't strike me as perfumey, but instead almost chalky, and the Natural Tobacco seems to have some additional sweetener that I'm not particularly in love with.

Both are about the same as I remember them being when new, just less vibrant due to advanced age. They're not dreadful, not even bad, but they simply don't rank among the many superior NETs we regularly discuss on the thread. The Natural Tobacco has held up better than the Nostalgia, but I wouldn't choose to vape either, especially when I have so many very good retail NETs. My own home-brewed NETs, which are mostly my tobacco vapes of choice these days, are also far superior to these.
