Dark Honey Berry. For his first fruit-bacco, Brian went unique. From the site; " Green River Black Cavendish, which has a mild brown-sugar flavor, blended with smooth honey to up the sweetness. The sweetness is reined in some by a tart berry essence." Black cav.. honey.. we'll see. It'll be interesting!

When you get around to trying Dark Honey Berry, would like to hear your comments. A week or so ago I considered buying this but 30 mls not knowing whether I would like it or not, stopped me. Anyhow have enough NETs at the moment.

A little off topic. I received earlier this week 4 liquids from EV, two of which are their coffees. I got chilled Vanilla Latte and Sunrise without Acetoin. Also chilled watermelon and Confederate. One of the tobaccos in Confederate is perique so first time for me. Not sure what my reaction will be. Have not tried any of these yet.

I think I am tapping out on Ahlusion - Maple Wild Wood. I just do not get this juice at all. To expect a quality of maple on par with the caramel in CWW is just not fair, but i would expect at least the flavor impact of the vanilla in VWW and it just is not there. I don;t even get a "maple" thing at all. So in terms of what i WANT or was EXPECTING this juice is a big failure, and i am sorry for it.

That said, the Wild Wood tobacco mix remains a very, very nice and unique take on what I am speculating is a synthetic plus NET concoction. It is rreally nice. This is a very smooth, very vapeable, very pleasant juice. If it was called "Pleasant Wild Wood" maybe it would not have ever bugged me so much. I highly recommend this juice for HHV fans, and for generally anyone who enjoys a mellower and slightly sweet tobacco. It's a really nice juice to be sure.

So my quest for a great maple tobacco (other than Maple Burley) continues. Do I need to venture into HHV - Maple Eh?

Ether Vapes just released 2 new coffee extraction liquids that might interest you. Or just try the Capparillo from NLV -- that one is delicious.

EV is in my plans for coffee vapes! As far is I know, they are naturally extracted which has me curious. I may try some of Vash's dessert options too. Also plan on trying Kent's Blend from Ahl for another coffee vape, plus several teas and desserts since they are my favorite for those types. I'll think about trying Capparillo from NLV too.

Will do, but I also ask that you comment on those coffees once you try them as I'm curious about those.

By the way, VapingWatch is now offering 15ml bottles so you can try RBFS at a more reasonable size than 30ml which is a move I'm pretty happy about.

BJ, what JDS do you use? Seems like our reactions to juice are pretty similar but once and a while you and I have a totally different reaction to a juice. For me there's an obvious maple syrup presence in MWW, just not overwhelming like the caramel is in CWW. I wonder if the difference is our vaping devices or our brains in this case. We're both vaping recently purched MWW from the express line, so I'm sure the juice is the same.

That's odd, because I got almost the same reaction as mine from two other friends who recently tried it. Weird. But as we know, one man's racoon piss is another man's...

With the MWW I dripped on an ebaron and also filled used an Aspire Nova BDC

Yeah, that's odd, too bad too. I wasn't sure if you'd dig it but I would have guessed that may be because of the tobacco instead of the maple. Maple it'll improve with age, many of the non-aros bloom with time. Just because it's in the Xpress doesn't mean it's at peak flavor.

What do you use for a wick?

Vapemail today! A new magma rda clone and a big bag of goodies from pipesandcigars. The messed up part is that I have a cold and can't taste or smell anything except Latakia :( I'm even tempted to vape some Hawk Sauce (eww) just to get some menthol in my system.

Looks like I'll be spending this evening setting up my macerations.

BJ,
Before you give up (unless it's also the WW you don't care for), why don't you drop them a line asking if the maples in MB and MWW are the same (the vanillas in Vurley and VWW aren't)? If so, you could ask them to punch it up on a new order (I asked them to punch up the JG blend for me and I think they did). I don't think they do it with the Express line though and even if it is the same maple, I suppose it's possible it's having an interaction with the WW that is interfering with the taste you want. Never hurts to ask.

Dustmite's Devil's Holiday by Dan extract.

Gentle black cavendish with tips of Golden Virginia, flavoured with sweet wild forest berries

If I know I'm going to post a comment about a La Cosa NETstra extract I tend to vape that, and only that, all day with three different devices. I started off with an Igo-L, a 1.3 ohm microcoil with cotton on a King Mech and a Kick set at 12W. Things were harsh and I immediately went to 10W. Much better. The juice was mixed at my usual 20% 50/50 12 mg. and steeped for a week. I'm getting Virginia and a little Cavendish but nothing else. I dripped this for about three hours and didn't get much of a change, just mostly Virginia.

Then I switched to.a 1.8 ohm carto tank.on a Tesla VV at 4.2V. Too hot and harsh so I wound up at 3.8V for a pleasant cooler vape. This may need a longer steep as I'm not getting any forest, or their berries. No sweetness at all, just some mighty fine Virginia.

I then loaded an EVOD re-coiled with Ekowool and an 1.5 ohm microcoil. I set the Ego Twist for 4V and stayed there as the vape was just fine. Still, no forest berries. I was consciously looking for some hint of sweetness to no avail. I picked up the slight hint of Cavendish but mostly a dry Virginia that was really good.

Although YMMV, I think any Virginia lovers would go for this. The Cavendish is present but hiding behind a big 'ol pile of Virginia. No forest, the tree must have fallen and I didn't taste it, and the berries are AWOL.

Also, please bear in mind that I am by no means a super taster. I mean, I taste beer in W2V's Rock Star. Many Commercial vapes you folks speak of taste different to me. I lose a lot of flavors that are present for others. Keep that in mind. You could find yourself under attack by forest berries.

boomer,

In June, I made extract from an ounce of Hearth & Home Signature Berry Nice pipe blend, which is supposed to be Green River Black Cav steamed with the essence of wild betties, black currant, and blackberries. I wasn't sure I'd like it, but I wanted to try a fruity tobacco.

Well, I can taste the berries, but not much. It's more like the aura of fruit than the taste of fruit. I've got oodles of fruit flavorings, however---some of which are quite authentic tasting (rather than little-kid candy artificial jolly-rancher-type fruit flavors)---so, I think I'll whip up a bottle of Berry Nice with a couple of additional fruit flavorings like blackberry and raspberry. I still don't know for sure that I'll like that, but when I want fruit with my tobacco, I want FRUIT with my tobacco, dammit!

I have high hopes for Tatiana Groovy Blue, which I just decanted today. Gonna mix some up and hopefully have a Blueberry fog come next week some time.

Thanks Mike!

Hot Dang! I can't put down boomer's PS #21 Black Vanilla! I love a good black cavendish and with the vanilla hint to this it is heaven (to me). On the sweeter side, with a definite vanilla tinge. Delish!! :)

Drool!!
My favorite adv is a Vanilla tobacco that's no longer available, I'm on serious rations and desperTely looking to make or find something even in the same ballpark

The ladies who started VCV did so because they have severe PG allergies, and could not find any true PG-free juices in the market (at the time). They use alcohol in place of PG as a carrier. Their pure VG juices are therefore more subtle than other 100% VG juices that may still use trace amounts of PG in the flavor base. I have found that their juices do not change as much as others during the first few weeks of ownership. Their non-tobacco juices tend to lose some flavor after many months. I have juices from 6 months ago, and they are definitely muted compared to when I first received them. I do not experience this with their tobaccos, like White Beard, BUT I order non-tobaccos from them in 0mg and tobaccos in 6-12mg, so this might also be a factor.

Their fruits come off very light to me but I still vape them because as picky as I already am fruits are the hardest for me to find ones I like. I like their flavor just wish they had a teeny bit more. Would LOVE to know where their flavorings come from!!

I love those Magmas! Definitely high on my want list. Unfortunately financial problems abound ATM. Having enough trouble trying to figure out whether to buy more juice or keep trying to diy. I tried it early on and completely sucked at. Became an expert on premade a though lol. Now I'm trying again for several reasons. So far not much happening but slightly better. Feel like I'm wasting a lot and convinced that there are some flavoring vendors being used out there that I cannot seem to find out about..

Which Berry flavors have you found to be good? I've only tried a few and haven't cared for them much.
So if you would be willing to share that info i would be very grateful.

Vape mail today from Ethervapes. More Vanilla Skye and some Sunrise without the cream. Also Binary Brulee ver 1 and Cosmic Cookie for my dessert fix. Once the Sunrise steeps I will report how I like it. Finding a decent coffee vape has been a long search that seems to keep going...

I have been wanting to try a Vanilla Skye can you give a description. I like MOV White leaf and AGL VWW but they are kinda similar just one I'd heavier on tobacco and the other is the opposite. The Peoples Vape makes a good sweet Creamy coffee vape.

Still trying to figure out how to get some of the dryness out of one of the NETs I have without diluting it farther which does seem to help.

Has anyone noticed a big flavor difference with heat or cold extractions? What is the difference flavor wise?
