American Spirit rolling tobacco makes for an awesome analog vape. I've had Big Spirit from NETcom, which I think I gave a 5 out of 5 when I reviewed it, and I voted it #1 ciggy NET in the last NETty Awards. I'm pretty sure it won first place ciggy too.

I'd be willing to bet that all the various American Spirit varieties (regular, Organic, Perique) share a strong family resemblance---as middle-of-the-road but tasty American-style tobacco blends. Looking for an NET that has a good cigarette-like flavor profile? American Spirit fills the bill better than any other tobacco I can think of (or any other that I've extracted).

In addition, I imagine that most extracts/juices made from a given tobacco in the American Spirit brand line will taste remarkably similar, regardless of who extracts it. My American Spirit Organic extract is probably nearly identical to Clay's retail Organic Spirit at N-E-T.com, and both are probably not too far in flavor from boomer's 'regular' American Spirit extract.

Norman, Ok
The incorrect corrector has something else to add...

... no not that.

Diane at MyVapeJuice has added the H&H juices to the samples... and also added the CAO and Sir Walter Raleigh pipes I was unaware of having been added...

I ordered the 3 I mentioned previously in a sample pack... and asked for some CAO Black as a freeby sampler

I just got home a little bit ago after a long day, just want to relax, so not in the mood for active tasting for a few hours and describing a vape. So, I'll just say this for now about Count Caramel from RBFS after a few minutes of vaping. Keep in mind I've vaped and love Caramel WW from Ahl..

The Count may be the best damn caramel tobacco I've ever had. That is all..

I got two different cigar leaves from : Whole Tobacco Leaves by the Pound, Buy Tobacco Leaf, Bulk Tobacco, Fronto Leaf, Cigar Wrappers, Binders, and Fillers

I didn't attempt to do any casing. Just extract from a few dried leaves. Luckily, I was able to trade away the remaining leaves.

P&T is a typo. I meant P&C. I experiment with the extracts from their many different varietals. Mixing them together and experimenting with single synthetic flavoring. Their Green River Cavendish is an excellent vape all by itself at 20%. Very smooth and flavorful. I think most of these single leaf products may be rinsed down with sugar water before curing. I'm not sure but I wouldn't be surprised.

Did you source your leaf from the same vendor as the one johni cited and did you buy by the single samplers or the volumn offering? Leaf Only does seem to indicate that some of their offering are graded and some not and I get the impression some may not be processed. Did you attempt to do any of your own casing/topping with the leaf extract? I have a number of blending tobaccos from Pipes and Cigars (who is P&T btw?) I'm not sure what any of them may be cased with, but I'm impressed with the quality of the tobaccos. Some of the ones I've purchased locally have been rather stemy. Thanks for your input.

I have to say that after enjoying a couple of Clay's offering, Yesteryear and Balkan which I got in a trade. Along with eight others I have sampled. I don't know how he does it but all of them were winners. Every single one. His extracts are benchmarks for flavor, craftsmanship and a master's hand. They are what I aspire to make myself without coming close. I wish him all success.

It is going to be interesting to watch.

It would seem he has turned over several new leaves. All of them probably very tasty.

The awesome thing in all of this is that he can totally turn over a new leaf if he just does what he says. I am pulling for him, but will also be watching from the sidelines.

Maduro and Cameroon single varietal juices? Maybe if they had 1oz sizes.

I extracted some last year and it was way to flowery. I cut in down to 10% and it calmed down to a pleasant vape but not something I would extract again. Blonde on the other hand is a different story.

I totally get why. I am just at this weird juncture in my NET consumption where certain liquids work for me that may have been no bueno for me in 2012 (and vice versa). I did want to make sure you were fully stocked jut in case, so once again, I hope there is something in there that will work. Hell, the Walker NETs may make several 30 mL once diluted! LOL. You could probably add it by the drop to MVJ's liquids to boost them.

And with the floral thing, I think me liking Kuba Kuba made me perfect candidate for being able to get down with this (and I like the floral notes in Jigg(x) too). Not too many people here like Kuba Kuba if I remember correctly (just me Jerms and Anthony -- I think??). I didn't quite like the Havano at first as that note was pretty forward, but at some point I just kept going back to it -- my half is now gone.

p.s. Who here likes Kuba Kuba (either from w2v or QnJ)?

I have to disagree with you on that Bill. Cinire was speaking of the American Spirit Bold I traded her. I have tried several extracts and juices, including Clay's Talking Spirit. I feel that my method of extraction may be gunkier but it brings the taste to a new level. I prefer mine over all the others.Next swap I'll include some juice for you to try.

In addition, I imagine that most extracts/juices made from a given tobacco in the American Spirit brand line will taste remarkably similar, regardless of who extracts it. I wish! I thought to extract a few cigar liquids as I couldn't find any blending tobacco's with the exception of Connecticut Broadleaf. Maybe I should have attempted a soak in sugar water? Although that would seem to be counter-productive with Maduro leaves.

Maduro and Cameroon single varietal juices? Maybe if they had 1oz sizes.

That is what I figured. Not that I am looking for a "cigarette" flavor specifically as this tastes nothing like any cigarette I ever had, I just enjoy the flavor of this extract (along with several others). But good to know. As always, thanks everyone!

Edit: American Spirit Bold, eh boomer? Ok, it is good!

Today is my second anniversary off the stinkies. I picked up a 510 stick with a mini Viva Nova filled with DeKang Dk tobacco and never smoked again. The Government has no business telling me what I can and cannot do for myself, not hurting anyone else. FDA can go jump in a pool of Crab Juice.
