Me too. I ran out of space long ago but I keep going. Adjustable shelving helps LOL. there's been very few of my extracts I would call an ADV. So once a 60 ml bottle is gone I won't usually re-fill it. Thing is, all those pretty cigar wrappers. I carefully unpeel them and paste them on the bottles. The shelf looks like The Royal Apothecary. I wonder if cigar smokers collect them?

I use the same amounts of tobacco for my macerations (full cigar and one ounce of loose tobacco, which are generally the quantities I buy), although my target yield has been a bit higher than yours---about 100ml, down from 130ml last year. I started out in Spring 2013 using half that much tobacco, but I see no point to that anymore, since I have no intention of extracting the same tobacco a second time, and I don't want to have an ever-increasing inventory of baggies with half a cigar or half an ounce of loose tobacco.

Recently I've had thoughts of going to lower yields of extract, such as 60ml. Those intentions haven't yet materialized, though, because I like to be able to see the solvent liquid in the maceration jar (as a way to easily verify the color change). Starting with 70-80ml (which will yield 60ml) is barely enough solvent to cover a cigar or an ounce of tobacco, so I've typically added more. That's going to change, however.

My next batch is planned as low-heat-assisted macerations using a solvent of 85%PG/15%PGA, and I intend to force myself to add only 70-80ml of solvent at the beginning. Ending up with 3-4 ounces of finished extract is overkill and pointless for me, since I'll never be able to vape or give away that much. Four-ounce glass dropper bottles are expensive and take up too much space anyway. I've already got a huge drawer filled with my own extracts, plus two smaller drawers filled with swapped extracts from you, Johni, Dustmight, MFToms, and clnire. I'm completely out of storage space!

If I didn't enjoy making extracts so much, I'd stop now, because I have enough already to make juice for an army. At an average mix ratio of 20%, my current stock of NET extract would make 20 liters of juice. Shoot, that's just plain silly.

Okay, now it's getting really creepy bordering on disgusting. Clips from the Movie The Thing ( 1980 ) went through my mind. There's one little pooch I would never take for a walk.

I might be able to help you out.

If both of you send me full bottles of some of those home made extracts I might be able to scrape some DNA off them. I have a German Shepherd that's ovulating right now, and my wife's a chemical engineer. While I am not sure how, or if that even matters, I always wanted to mention it.

Just know, the offer is on the table.

Sincerely,

Skeebo

Quick update on SGP. I am glad that Jerms mentioned not being able to tell where the peach ends and tobacco begins because I quit looking. I spent all morning with it and am really digging it; I do get the feel of a tobacco with that NET-like throat hit and all. My initial confusion came from my expectations; was expecting it to be like apple cured tobacco from GeJ where I was able to tell where the tobacco and apple came into play. SGP is different though. The flavors blend together where they become one (if that makes any sense). Kinda diggin it today.

Question. Been thinking of ordering from Ahlusion in the near future and have been eyeing a couple other aromatics as well. Is Smoking Cherries the same way where the cherry and tobacco blend this well? Been eyeing that one also so inquiring minds, like me, would like to know.

Honestly, Smokin' Cherries is just plain weird these days. My first bottle many moons ago was fantastic, this current one not so much. I know someone who had a sample from this bottle of SC and found it great, so as always, ymmv.

Was gonna get Maple Burley already as Hey Jack was the first NET I tried and have always like it; been liking other maple flavors since. Plus, it gets so much good talk about it, it was on my radar. The Coca Blend was also there for kinda the same reasons but not from a NET; a synthetic cocoa/tobacco blend got me into it. Midnite Lite from EV scratched that itch for me but am always trying to find others I like as well. Guess when I make my next order, it will be from Ahlusion and order around 5-6 to get a good idea about the liquid. I made a order yesterday morning to NET.com so probably next week (unless they have a sale, then I'll splurge early). Thanks for the info...Much appreciated!

Maple Burley kicks Hey Jacks ayuss in every way.. to my taster anyways. Cocoa Blend is quite good too.

Yeah you do. When I go back to previous posts for whatever reason, your posts usually seem quite different from when I first read them lol.

I do the same things with my paintings -- I have actually re-worked them in the gallery off-hours. It's like I can't really "see" them until they're displayed. It's one of my many problems.

A Labor Day sale would be a good bet for most Vendors.

I am going to sit out this sale since I am trying to make it to the new store on Friday for the soft openeing. Don't know if you all saw the deal they are running for the first 100 customers, but it is pretty sick!

Ha! Ya'all are quite funny today.

I might run across the street to the library to place an Ahlusion order on the computer, as I have a feedback coupon to stack with a sale. Is the sale still going as of now? I can't check the site on my phone.

As of right now, yes, it is on an crackin'! 20% off plus the option to stack.

... Cocoa Blend is quite good too.

After polishing off 10mls of Bill's Louisiana Red, I've been working on the last 15mls of my Cocoa Blend, 50/50 18mg dripped, very tasty & rich Tobacco, really solid TH with a nice Cocoa finish on the exhale.

BTW, I have Milan Old Dominion pipe tobacco to macerate; rough-cut Maple flavored Burley is the only description on the site.

I was going to post a few comments on the MVJ Cohiba Vigoroso , cigar juice, CAO Italia cigar juice and the CAO Brazillia cigar juice I received from Mr. Mann.
However, after reading my notes I quickly came to realize, IMO, they where all similar. The cigar tobacco simply did not translate into a strong enough flavor to be of interest to me. They where somewhat sweet and the spiciness of a cigar is lost in the crowd, as far as I am concerned, Now for anyone that like a milder flavored cigar, I say go for it!

Once again, I didn't want to speak on it until you got it. Those liquids are lightly flavored all right! Stunningly so. And for anyone thinking I need 5 extra flavor shots with my NETs, I don't.

I got Boomer's Orlik to last for 2.2ml! The secret is getting the wick precisely the right diameter and length. If it is too thick, the middle burns too much. If it is too long it compresses on the side and doesn't draw in the liquid as long. When I pulled it out today it was about 80% black. The juice did seem to get noticably thicker, and the coil actually had raised gunk spots.

I did it though!

On a different note. Every juice besides Orlik taste's completely different lately. O though changing cotton source would help. It hasn't really. It just added to the confusion. It is so perplexing. My buds keep flip flopping around.
