A solid burley/cavendish with a decent casing. I can't really pin down the flavor though. At first I thought caramel or butter scotch. Every timeI eat or drink something it switches. Now it tastes like apricot. Some times I thought coconut on the inhale. Other times it tasted exactly like 7th Avenue Blonde without the vanilla. However, if my mouth is moist a creamy under tone creeps in.

A good vape even if it is a little perplexing.

Mine shipped 65 hrs 48 minutes after placing the order :toast:

On a completely different topic. Opulence 3 is the new Sangria. I vaped 3.5ml between the end of shift last night and lunch today. Man that stuff is smooth, relaxing, and indulgent.

I thought about extracting one just to get a year supply. Then I decided to not even try. Masterful work on that one. Steeping brought it from also ran to first place.

2 reviews from Pipes & Cigars, one said Fruitty aromaemphasis mine and a second mentioned Butter-Scotch, unlike apricot as described by others. Nice call Mike, you hits those with I few others... and I'd take your word on Coconut.

It's 50% luck selecting a good tobacco blend, 30% luck and ~20% learning On-The-Fly. ~10mls of AHL Cocoa Blend left, Sangria is up next.

Some of my extracts stumbled when new for me too: Partagas Black Label wasn't much for me ~2 months, Sangria was a third. Haven't had Groovy Blue or any of my latest extracts, distracted by two of Bill's extracts ................................ for the picky among us; When I refer to extract/ extracts, it means Tobacco Macreation/ Home-Brew or any other slang term which alludes me atm... AT THE MOMENT. :vapor:

Placed an order on NET.com for some of their famous Black Cavendish, interested to compare to RFBS Caven Fever, and my extract of Capt Black Dark which tastes great just gunks up wicks too fast.)

Edit: Just tried Ether Vape's Conferate with a brass monkey RDA (first non aerotank) man this is the stuff I great switch up from the usual Cavendish's I'm hooked on. I think a normal guy not obsessed with natural tobacco's could be content with a bottle of Eclipse and Confederate with a good dripper. I used a Seven 30 at 0.75 ohm 17W for this. Its the perfect package for thise wanting to sub-ohm without going crazy, and the perique really shown thru with this combo.

I'd go with Wizard. Never a problem and you know your getting quality product. I don't think I've ever seen better packaging from any mailorder, or eBay seller.

thank you. 1 liter of 100 mg equals to 8 1/2 liters of juice at my nic level and i plan on going down to 6 mg soon, so that would be seventeen liters ! Ideally i was thinking of ordering all from the same source. I am only looking to order 500 ml each of vg and pg and about 120 ml of nicotine. I was considering wizard labs and bull city vapors.

I just got to Groovy Blue yesterday. Out of four Tatiana's it's the sweetest to me. Very berry, fruity. Almost too much. If you like sweet and fruity, you'll love this. The cigar doesn't get lost but it's presence is muted.

My wife calls my jars of extracts " spittoons "

BJ,

This is my last shot at this: Kentucky Maplewood Blend. This is not meant to supplant Maple Burely, but more about having another option (that you wouldn't mind vaping).

Expect the tobacco's voice to be somewhat quiet, but it should play well in the liquid. Expect that steeping will make it better.

Excellence (read that). Don't go buying up a bunch though, but try Maplewood.

Second update: the electronic shipping notification of my Monday NET.com order has actually left the USPS facility, and is showing an expected arrival in NYC of August 16th (tomorrow).

I hope to see Clay shutting down new orders on a regular basis, as this will mean he is managing his time to keep demand and production in sync, and that he is getting the significant business flow his awesome juice-making skills deserve.

I also recently ordered with NET.com, and was pleasently surprised to have my order shipped out within 2 days, and the juice is quite wonderfull....This is a particularlly gratifying considering I ordered from Walker's Tobacco alternative 6 weeks ago, and have nothing to show for it....after the fourth week i asked for a refund, after being assured by Ken Walker the check was in the mail..... i got a notice the check was no good....... going on week 6 or 7 and he still hasn't made good, and i'm not the only one who got burned. either...the worst vendor I've dealt with in the vaping community..beware

I placed a NETcom order 3 days ago. Got a shipping notice this morning. :)

I placed mine in April. Got a shipping confirmation July 20. Obviously only a shipping label was printed because it said "Pre-Shipment Info Sent to USPS". Finally on August 14 it actually shipped ("Accepted at USPS Origin Sort Facility").

Moral: Don't get too excited. I really do hope this is the turning point, though. I really want to support NETcom and I think Clay is a good guy with good intentions. I just can't support a company if I don't see an order for 4+ months with absolutely no communication.

Is Vermillion River NET? I never remember hearing for certain if it is or not.

I just atty-dripped some two-year-old Vermillion River Kentucky Maplewood I had in deep storage. The taste of the maple component is in line with my memory---mild, slightly sweet, leaning more toward maple flavor than maple syrup. What surprised me was the tobacco element. I haven't vaped any Vermillion River Kentucky blends for quite awhile---easily more than a year---and I was a little shocked at how plainly my brain registered the TA. Didn't read like an NET at all, either macerated or steam-distilled, but rather like TA with a bit of synthetic tobacco. I guess my taste buds have come pretty far.

I feel certain that BJ will not love Kentucky Maplewood, but with that opinion and four bucks, you can get a cappuccino.

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood (hope I didn't get that song stuck in your head. Well not exactly, it was kinda the plan). Vape mail from Real Extracts today and shipping notification from NET.com last night. I did however receive an email from them stating they had technical difficulties and the package did not get shipped last night; it is being taken care of today and will be shipped 1 day mail when they ship it. I'm okay with notice and kinda glad I gave them a chance as they seem to really be working on customer relations and communications (at least with me on my first order with them).

Yeah, I'm aware of its Fruitiness, I had mixed a 10ml sample in its 10th day of extraction... nothing but a Blueberry compote type taste. I wasn't worried or disappointed, it would blend well with Waffle extract if the Tobacco was overwhelmed or nonexistent.

After finishing Louisiana Red, the Black Gold wasn't doing it, kinda muddled so back in the cupboard for steeping. RBFS Pirates Drunken Sweet Tooth was tested, nice sweet flavor & Tobacco, need some more time with it tonight.

Well, see, hmm...I dunno. It's third-party extracted and they said it's steam distilled. Now, here's the thing: TA comes from a tobacco concrete (absolutes are products of concretes), so if it comes from a concrete then it is a TA. If it didn't come from a concrete but it acts like a TA, then it still can be steam distilled (or even CO2). In essence, two things are produced with straight-up steam distillation: 1) a hydrosol/hydrolat and 2) an essential oil (or an oil like an essential oil). The hydrosol is going to be too weak and unstable for our purposes, so the target is the oil. So what makes that like a TA? They're both aromatic oils -- but the TA will also have "some waxes and pigments along with other constituents from the plant, but are mostly comprised of the concentrated aromatic oil*". TA is much more potent than a simple aromatic oil, but they could play similarly. The oil produced from a steam distillation still should go through further processing and dilution after its initial extraction to be included in eliquid (and I imagine some aren't as processed and refined as others), so just using a steam distillation extraction in a liquid will not necessarily give you results that are any more impressive than a TA.

Making Essential Oils - Methods of Essential Oil Extraction

*Extraction Methods -- Steam Distillation & Extraction | Concretes & Absolutes | CO2 Extracts | Organic Extracts | Resins

As an aside: I totally get what Bill is talking about with Vermillion, and I used to get the same thing from Darthvapers (they said the same thing as VR, except they said they made their own), but what I didn't get from either of them, like I get from M&P or Moondrop, is that strange green taste (and sometimes green residue). To me that is the one thing that distinguishes what DV used, and what VR uses, from TA.

Yeah, that Louisiana Red is a nice change-up. I'm hoping to trade for some RBFS liquids after so many thumbs up comments from folks on this thread. I just got a DNA 30 today and i'm stoked to go sub ohm with a few RBA's I haven't tried yet. I've got a Veritas, Magma and Origen that have been sitting since I got them. An Plume Veil is on it's way to me also. So I've got some coils to build.
