For me it was an issue early on. After a little aging it backed off. It is always most evident in the first couple of puffs. Then it seems to slide back and let the tobacco out.

I got much the same impression from when I first got them... and then later when I really started vaping them about a week to two weeks later.

Vaping on MVJ's Cohiba Red Dot. I rolled my wicks as KGD/Hemp hybrids. A weird thing happened to the juice. The dark earth and tobacco flavors slithered away. Today it is a story of the Cameroon wrapper. I'm not sure if the hemp changed things or what. It was definitely an unexpected change.

Yesterday was a heavy vape day. Nothing too interesting to report on. I think I went through 1.5ml of MFT's Oppulence 3 and about 3ml of Orlik made from Boomer's extract. It is previously traveled territory, but man the scenery is beautiful. There is something about each juice that is so relaxing. Orlik Gold Slice is the only vape that makes me smile every single time I load up a tank. I literally mean, I start smiling while loading the tank.

I recently gave up on the Kaylite and switched to brass monky drippers. My facorite extract is Captain Black Dark @20%. Pretty heavy stuff and gunks up wicks fast. Is there a pratical way to tell a guy when its time to change wicks on a dripper?

When the flavor drops to a point you don't care for it any longer

I figured out the issue with my vape today. I have some Grand Central ghosting the works. The casing was complimenting the Cameroon wrapper of the Cohiba at first. Now it is more distinct. It is interesting to get a bit of fruity casing with a darker tobacco flavor. It is palatable, but not something I would want to experience very often. I need a better way to clean my gear. Hot water and shaking isn't cutting it. I am getting a bit of ghosting and other undesirable effects creeping into a couple of tanks.

Every once in a while I'll run into a person that is as crazy if not more so, compared to me. My order at MVJ last night was prompted by the fact that Diane sent me a coupon code for a referral that I had made to someone (a vendor) to try MVJ and if possible to stock their juices.

This is a note I just received from Diane, just before I received my shipping notice for last nights order:

"This was a thank you, not an opportunity for you to spend money LOL. Soooooooooooooo...I sent you the whole Davidoff line cause it had your name in it :)

Let me know when it arrives safely! ~Diane"

WOW! Just WOW!!

What tank are you using? Are you changing the wick along with any juice/flavour changes?

Dianne does surprise you from time to time. She has the biggest heart of all the vendors I've dealt with. I have gotten a couple of unexpected gifts from her over my short vaping career. I don't mention it often because I don't want people thinking the gifts affect my reviews of her products. She is a real gem.

I am using Kanger Evod 2, Mini PT3, and T3D tanks. I dry burn the coils on my MVP 2.0 and rewick the heads after every tank. The plastic caps on the heads are getting a bit brown. I was thinking of using a bit of vinegar and water to clean everything. However, that practically destroyed my first T3D. It fogged the whole tank and made the tank a flavor killer.

How do you like the Dunhill Early Morning Pipe Tobacco and the Borkum Riff Black Cavendish Pipe Tobacco? I just order both from Diane.

The black Cavendish even with the extra flavor shot isn't cavensdish enough for me, I prefer RBFS Caven Fever, The Early Morning Pipe tobacco is nice and hard to explain very complex and one of their best

So much potential waiting to be unlocked. No drippers or KFL/Fogger or similar? You're not getting anywhere close to the potential of these juices with the Evod/PT/T3D tanks. :(

Moving along.. I'm guessing you're also rinsing out the tanks and bases when changing flavours? I can't say that I experienced flavour creep when I used to use the Protanks, but it's possible that there may be some being held on in the nooks and crannies in the tanks. I would expect that most juices would right away take over a wee bit of leftover flavour, but if you were going to a much lighter juice compared to a stronger previous one, there could be some residual flavour left over.

The air tube and drip tip may also hold on to some residual flavour although that should not last long either.

I'm trying to gauge what is average, I 'm going a couple days.

That depends again entirely on the juice regal. The average for a heavy English juice would be around a ml or two. The average for a lighter juice like Gaia or Huntsman from HHV would be approximately 10 - 15ml.

I get some credit for rewicking with cotton, right? I just don't have the patience for continuously rebuilding coils and experimenting with positioning coils, wicks, and various parts while hoping it all lines up. I've seen too many posts about the frustrations of trying to dial in a new RBA or RDA. With the Kanger heads and tanks it is already done. I just rewick and occasionally pull the coils back apart slightly. The convenience is worth any loss I'm experiencing.

I tried a friend's Mech with a Kanger PT3. I couldn't really tell what the fuss was about. I'm not really itching to jump into the deep end of that pool with all of the extra maintenance and planning needed for the full out setups with an RDA or RBA on top. I am a simple guy and for me a regulated Evod battery and cotton wicked Mini PT3 are plenty for a nice evening of vaping. I do like going to the MVP for cigar vapes or when I end up with a head reading over 2 ohms. That tends to happen if you aren't careful with the Kanger coils.

We can, and do, go back and forth on this thread discussing whether Diane's NETs at MVJ are just right in flavor or too light (camps based on subjective opinion and personal preference), but her exceptional and gracious generosity is unquestioned. I have often called Diane "the hardest-working woman in the vaping biz." She's definitely a star.

I rebuild my Mini PT2/1 using micro-coils and that really steps up the flavor in them... They aren't up to Kayfun or Magma level but for carrying to work etc... they are much easier to deal with and taste is still pretty good then.

You comment about fiddling with the RDA's though... should be re-evaluated maybe. The Magma is very easy to get the coils in just the right place... even the IGO-L is easy but slightly more fiddly since you have to line up with the air hole in the cap which isn't on at the time you mount the coil.

Here is a pic of the Magma... just place the coil dead center of the air hole and tighten down...

Here's mine setup with a dual config. You can see how deep the juice wells are and they hold 1ml if not a bit more of juice. Changing out wicks takes less than 5 minutes.

I run it on my Panzer and has quickly become my go-to Mech combo for dripping.

All over the place
My Magma is arriving in the mail today, and I can't wait! Also finally have some KGD cotton on the way. Looking forward to seeing what the difference will be compared to my Igo-L setup wicked with organic cotton balls...

Got mine yesterday and aside from the irksome-leaking when getting overzealous with the dripping (or just dripping in general), that dadgum atty kicks out the flavor IMMEDIATELY! Damn. I have always seen talk about this atty or that atty being great for flavor, but this was the first one that shined immediately. Dusty, thanks for posting that pic!!!!!
