How about non-Net tobaccos? There were some vendors at VapeCan (the big meet we had recently in Toronto) that had some "tobacco" flavoured juices. One of them was giving away free bottles, so I grabbed a Black Honey tobacco from them, brought it home and loaded it up in a KFL. PHEEEWWWWW!! crazy floral with a seriously sour room note which could have only been the honey.

It took me 2 days of having the windows open and the fan going in my Den before I was able to walk in there and not smell it. This was from 5 minutes of vaping it.

The flavour has permeated the KFL and even the inside of the pipe stem I was using. Nasty.. just plan nasty!
I've tried several artibaccos with little success. Most bear little or no resemblance to tobacco and many are down-right nasty! I have to chuckle when a noob drops in this thread and raves about a tooty-fruity artibacco from an obscure vendor! They can keep em!

Oh sure, blame me! Latakia rules man.

That is one of the reasons I switched to nothing but nets. My wife was constantly complaining about the room note from every synthetic I tried. Even Mister-E-Liquid's Copper Head annoyed her. There have only been two nets that she found disagreeable. One was Boomer's Obsidian. She swore it made her clothes smell like a burnt tire.

I was sneaking a vape at my desk a while ago and a co-worker came to ask me a question. "What is that smell" she said "smells like bug spray". I played ignorant to anything smelling but blamed the bug man. It was a synthetic.
I would have told her that I just farted! That shuts em up!

That drink mix tastes like a spiced hot chocolate with the spices replacing the chocolate. Nice winter, before bed drink.

Jerms cursed me previously for mentioning the spice connection I get in SC! If you have MOV's Chai Tea Latte, try em back to back and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Yeah, same cinnamon flavor :D

Dusty, MOV's Chai Latte is pretty awesome, worth a try.

I would have told her that I just farted! That shuts em up!

That excuse is best when vaping fruity or bakery scented vapes.

When stealth vaping a honey vape, the best excuse is to say you peed yourself. If they act shocked, just explain that it was on purpose.

Man, I've got so much great new juices, and more coming. Seems great, but I have too much choices and older juices that I haven't spent much time with are being negleted such as a couple cigars from Bill, brews from John and Dust, MVJ cigars.. So... all the new stuff is being put away. GeJ, EV, Ahl, RBFS, and others. Not sure how long, will go for a month.

Still leaves me with some great stuff until then.. older RBFS, home brews, Pipe Sauce, GeJ, etc. Plus, a lot to look forward to. The stuff I have coming I'm not even going to crack open, except ouR whY since it's a reverse steeper.

An embarrassment of riches, eh? A nice problem to have.

I know what you mean Jerms. Being overwhelmed with juice and still I go and order some Hump Back, Our Why Quartro and Enigma. Figured with the lower prices I'd try the Quick Nic offerings I've not had before. This keeps happening, despite my promise not to buy commercial juices. I wonder what September sales I'll be tempted to buy?

Man this Magma rocks! Put her on a DNA30 with an 0.8 ohm single microcoil and cotton. This is really bringing out some new high notes of American Spirit Perique. I do believe I can taste two different Virginia's. No Burley taste at all and the Perique is dialed down a notch. Next up is NET.com's Balkan that I got from Dusty. I think I'll vape it on the new Veritas.

Funny you mention tasting different Virginias with the Magma. I loaded up one of my VaPer extracts just yesterday in the Magma and could actually taste citrus from the Virginias. This is a non-aromatic blend mind you. At first I thought my buds were going out of whack so I drank some water and set the Magma aside. This morning I go to it again right out of bed so my buds are fresh. Well what do you know, it has citrus....

Freight Train is a winner; Steamroller isn’t.

Ah...well, I guess taste is subjective after all...Steamroller was in my first round of home extractions, and I have to say that I like it - quite a bit actually. I can see, though, how the Cavendish in the mix may not appeal to some, but to my taste it is quite nice. Maybe it's because of the Latakia, but I keep finding myself going back to this NET again and again. Perhaps it will move to the back of the liquid shelf after I get my next round of extractions going, as I have ordered a few more Latakia-heavy blends from Pipes & Cigars. But for now, I am enjoying it...

Vaping Sutliff Burley Delight 212 tonight, which I heat extracted last year. This is still the closest I have gotten to W2V Louisville, having some of the taste but not the intensity. If anyone has any suggestions for a blend more like Louisville, I'd love to extract it!

Your Burley Delight is freaking wonderful John. Seriously, I love that stuff. Top of my rotation.

So far the closest to Louisville, not sure. Closest to London I got was mixing single varietals. 20% Latakia, 30% Burley, 20% Virginia, 30% Perique and then adjust to taste.

I've extracted an English blend that I like more than London; Milan Centenary. Help me figure out a blend to approximate Louisville and I'll share it generously!:D

Tonight I'm vaping Missouri Meerschaum Country Gentleman. " This blend features a mixture of premium bright and red Virginias, which is enriched with Perique, and a small amount of dark-fired Kentucky for body." Very nice blend, basically a Va/Per with a little more base and some smokiness.

I was finishing off my tank of Sangria from last night. Man that juice has done some flipping. The burley has jumped up and come pounding out of the background. It is still a great juice, but it has taken a twist I didn't expect.

I spent my day with MVJ's CAO Italia. It was interesting to really pay attention to how it switched and turned. The age of the coils and wicks changed the flavor, obviously. However, things like moisture in my mouth, time spent vaping, and even type of drink or drink ingested switched up the taste. At one point as my mouth was drying up from work and lack of water the earthy taste and peppery spice combined for something that tasted like cinnamon for a little while. On the way home there was definitely a chocolately and oily maduro essence on top. Through out the day I kept getting an oily maduro sweetness. This will get reordered again. I'm thinking 34ml of the STP version is in order.

MFT's Milan Black Gold still isn't really ringing my bell. The muddle is backing off and some clarity is coming in. I'm getting the Maduro cavendish, the light chocolate casing, and vanilla casing. The tobaccos just seem to lack any real body. It just hasn't hit the stature of other blends. I've got about .5oz of this tobacco. I would seriously consider trading it for a homemade net juice.
