I cracked open some MVJ Drew Estate Heirloom Cherry that has aged slightly over two months. The cherry flavor tastes like a cherry smells and there is something else in there that gives it a smooth body. It is almost like they added a touch of vanilla for body but not flavor. The tobacco is a nice medium cavendish taste. The Burley and Virginias aren't really popping out at me. Overall it is a decent tobacco base with an above average casing. It is a good vape that should really please fans of cherry tobacco.

I was a bit scared going into this. I kept having flashbacks to AHL's Smokin' Cherries. Thankfully they are on opposite ends of the spectrum.

Oooohh..something to look forward to. I've never been able to vape a Cherry Tobacco. Thanks for the review!

One persons 5 star vape may be another persons 2 star. Please see my note re. Vita Bella. :D

I also don't think I've ever rated anything as a 5 star. A 5 star would be something that is so excellent that it cannot be improved upon. No NET has as yet attained that status, IMO.

Not Smooth Criminal?!

I had so much juice from NET.com before BJ's Blackberry released that I never got around to ordering it when it released. Then the hiatus happened. Now that NET.com is back up and running, perhaps it will be in a future order for me. I'm not a fruity juice lover though, so it would be a tough sell for me.

That's the beauty of blackberry burley - it's not overly fruity. I don't like fruity juices either, but I swear, I could almost drink this stuff!

I guess I've found more juices to my liking Dusty. I think our esteemed A tier vendors produce many 5 star offerings. I've also been lucky enough to try several home extractions that I feel achieve that status. To me, 5 star means the flavor is exactly what it claims to be (whether I prefer it or not), has mass appeal, and good performance. This is why I have yet to find any 5 star "mystery" flavors.

I have a lot of 4's and 4.5's which in my mind are clear winners. I just have difficulty wrapping my head around the fact that anything can be that perfect that it warrants a 5 star rating.

Not being picky but rather just practical. ;)

Perfect and practical don't play together well! Perfection (pursuit of) can severely limit your enjoyment! I bet I rate beers and broads higher than you do also.

I think beer has a direct relation with perfection. When I used to cruise and would ask the ladies if they were interested in me, they'd always say they hadn't had enough beer yet.

5 Star Juices

I have a little note pad, that i use to rate a juice. I won't generally write anything until i have vaped a couple of tank loads at least.

Category 1- Juices i will re-order before i run out of the previous bottle. Need to have them available always.
Category 2- Thoroughly enjoyable. I will re-order if there is a great sale going, but i will survive without them.
Category 3- I enjoy them but not enough to re-order.
Category 4- Vapeable. I have paid money for them, so i vape them when my allergies are acting up and my sense of taste and smell is sub-par.
Category 5- Added to the the 600 ml of mixed juices already in a large 1 liter bottle. Depository for all my unvapeable juices.

Every once in a while, i come across a juice that puts an involuntary smile on my face after the very first puff. Just makes me happy. It's not just the sensation of taste that is satisfied, it's a full body euphoria.

These are " Beyond Category " juices. GeJ Organic is the latest juice that satisfies me in this way.

I'm still in my experimental stage with NET's and been enjoying the heck out of trying all sorts of new vendors and different flavors. It has been the best vaping since I started sometime late last year. At this stage, it would be difficult for me to say 5 star or not cause have not had enough to compare to. However, I did reorder some that I tried and will reorder a few others that gave me that eyebrow raising taste sensation. Guess they would rate high with me but like I said, still to new to know how one blend compares to another one.

Yesterday I received the email from Pipes and Cigars about the new Sutliff tobaccos but didn't really pay attention doing 50 other things. johni pointed it out to me; it sounds like me, Ms Aro , so I looked again - on the way to extract:

Sutliff Lord Nelson - Lord Nelson is a robust American-English blend containing bright Virginias, Orientals, Latakia and Burley for richer body and a cool burn. This is a smooth but flavorful tobacco for evening relaxation.

Sutliff Peach Pie - Peach Pie combines Burley, Virginia and slowly-steamed black Cavendish with the bright, sweet and refreshing flavor of peaches. This comforting blend will be a favorite with everyone in the room.

I don't know how the Peach Pie will translate to a vape, but hey, won't know til I try! I do like Ahlusion Peach Wild Wood and Peachy Criminal. I know it will not be anything like either of those, but the peach doesn't scare me (unlike the Cinnamon Delight - cinnamon and tobacco just do nothing for my imagination). I was looking at the Raspberry one too, but decided to keep this small....

Thanks johni! The quest continues....

In the back of my mind, constantly since I started reading this thread, is the wish that one tobacco company starts developing a tobacco line, for the billion dollar vaping world. This line of tobacco would finally translate into what we execrators/vapers would experience in our mods, not what goes up in smoke with various analogs. :vapor:

Definitely on board with your theory Mike. Maybe even three months. I have been revisiting Bill's first round of Cigar extracts, at least the ones he sent me. I have to say there's quite a difference now than what I remember tasting back when I first got them. The Magnum Opus is superb. Although it may have something to do with this Magma. I am definitely getting a couple more of these puppies.

I got some Qnc Fire in the Hole going in the Origen. Never had some before and I think I'll need a few more mls to make up my mind about it. Enigma on an A7, Ka-ka. Synthetic, chemically. squint inducing, morally unjustified, mule taint. Sorry for the neutral cope out comments on it.

Bill's Magnum Opus is hands down my favorite ejuice of all time

I dont have more than a couple single fruit NET I like and I have tried almost all from all the major NET retailers. I keep TPR - Honey Fig around and NETCOM Mago Vanilla, but that is about it...except for Uncle BJ's BB. That was designed to have the blackberry merely accent the fire cured burley. I almost order mine with extra burley, to be honest. Only fruit tobacco is my rotation, period.

Me too! It's a 5 star juice ;)

I've given a few 5 star reviews, and consider several vapes perfect for what they do. I even give a 5+ if the juice is super special to me.

For my tastes, I strongly disagree with this. I have actually spent more time with the RBFS juices than probably any other juices out there because I respect them and I WANT to love them. They are all light in the loafers on flavor for me, every single one. My Pirate's is almost bland. Porch Rocker is delightful, but in no way knocks me out. If I had the option I would order it with extra extract. I think the ratio of tobaccos he blended is really, really sublime and I love his subtle signature of an extra pinch of that most excellent and clean perique. However I like the "authentic smoking experience" and this very clean and well though out juice is not that. I finally decided after almost 3 months of respecting, but being disappointed by the RBFS juices time after time after time that they are not a reorder for me, but one that I would recommend (despite price) to many others I know.

I do however plan on trying the KillrY4 and Count Caramel. I continue to respect this juice line a lot despite a less than robust flavor profile and I am really curious about those two offerings
