Hello all. First time poster here. I've been reading this thread for weeks. I've been vaping for a few months now. Anxiously awaiting my shipment of Big Spirit from NET.com ( I've been smoking American Spirits for close to 20 years). I'm very interested in NETs, I think they will work wonders to finally get me away from analogs for good. I'm a little concerned with how the NETs will "gunk" up my coils though. Currently using ego batts, an itaste MVP and Kanger mini protank 3 topper. Can anyone recommend a easy to set up, cost effective RBA and MOD (clone) that would work well with all these NETs I want to get into?
If you don't want to go above 11 Watts, there is no need to get a mod, the MVP is fine.
I can't really comment on drippers, since i still use the trident and patriot clones for testing juices only and don't keep abreast the latest developments. But all the rave on this thread seems to be about the Magma.
As far as RTA's go, i use Tayfun clones and Kayfun clones. Easy to rebuild, but the only way to vape a full tank of the gunkier NET's is to build a non-contact coil at a higher diameter ( 2.2 mm ), in my experience. Fasttech Tayfuns have worked fine for me but the Kayfuns not so much. EHPro Kayfuns have been the best i have tried. About $ 35 on Ebay and a little more on 101Vape.
You can also rebuild the PT3 coils as a single non contact coil as i do and get a full tank easily, with even the gunkiest NET's ( 29 g kanthal, 2 mm non-contact tensioned coil, about 7 wraps with KGD cotton ). This would be the cheapest option. I actually use my pt's more than kay/tai's because i prefer the draw and the taste is very very close to what i get on a kayfun clone. Make sure to get the aerotank air flow control base though, if you don't have it already. Huge improvement on the pt3 base.
Edit

idn't realize you said
mini pt3. You could get more than a full tank on these before you dry burn and re-wick.
It is a little more difficult to rebuild a pt head, because of the confined space, but once you get the hang of it quite fast. If cost is not an issue you, Kayfun clones and Tayfun clones are easier to re-build. If dripping is not inconvenient for you, re-building and especially re-wicking is easiest of all on drippers.
