I haven't smoked any tobacco since October 2010, literally since the day I started vaping, but the 38 years of smoking before then have made lung hits verboten in my world. I've tried taking a lung hit maybe five times in almost four years of vaping, and each time I did, I immediately began coughing so violently that it made me dizzy and sick. Last time I tried one was two years ago. I won't ever try again.
I'm with you Bill! It seems some guys "lung hit" and "cloud chase" just to be cool. I smoked 36 years and they can keep it.

As far as Big Spirit goes, you need not worry that much about gunking coils. If you make your own coils for the Protank it can be very cost effective. You can use the Protank coils over and over if you dry burn after each use. The easiest, cheapest RDA I know of is the Dominator. It has spring loaded push posts and can be had for $16. That with a pre-made coil is simple, takes seconds to build and is easy to maintain.

Welcome to this crazy thread. It's the best.

Hello all. First time poster here. I've been reading this thread for weeks. I've been vaping for a few months now. Anxiously awaiting my shipment of Big Spirit from NET.com ( I've been smoking American Spirits for close to 20 years). I'm very interested in NETs, I think they will work wonders to finally get me away from analogs for good. I'm a little concerned with how the NETs will "gunk" up my coils though. Currently using ego batts, an itaste MVP and Kanger mini protank 3 topper. Can anyone recommend a easy to set up, cost effective RBA and MOD (clone) that would work well with all these NETs I wa The easiestnt to get into?

I smoked for 50+ years. Took one lung hit with the Magma, wasn't too bad. Second lung hit was the killer. Wooh! Crazypants City. :vapor:  :p

Time to lower my nic level too 6mg. :2cool:

Obviously coming from a person that is still waiting for their Magma to come in from FT j/k ... :D
Lol. Maybe.. we'll see. A good thing is I'm kind of expecting to be disappointed by the Magma because of my previous disappointment with bottom airhole drippers, so all this Magma love isn't getting my expectations out of whack.

Haven't ordered it from FT yet. Waiting to see what labor day sales show up at American vendors first before making a hardware purchase from China.

Oh! Oh! Sweet Mother of all that's good and holy! Two month steeped VB in the Magma.Five stars my a**. This is a six. :vapor: :D

There's something mixed with the vanilla I can't quite figure out. Some kind of sweet, nutty something. Man this stuff is good. Why oh why did I only get a small bottle?

This. Exactly this. Smooth fire-cured Burley on the inhale, a touch of blackberry on the exhale.

It's definitely not oversaturated with blackberry, unless of course, you order it with extra.

The fire-cured Burley lends a nice smokey component that isn't overpowering, and it kinda intermingles to the point that you really don't want to even consider messing with the balance.

That's the one juice besides Bombay that I actually have a 60ml bottle of. (I do have a large bottle of MvJ's Captain Black Royal; 60% empty at this point.)

It's (the Blackberry Burley) actually the only juice I have loaded into a 3ml tank.

Everything else rotates or franken-juices (though I prefer just saying, "Hey, let's mix these two things together and see what happens"!) on a regular basis.

It's really neat seeing how polar opposites can attract in the NET world. It's also, a lot of the time, surprising.

In regards to the potato.... that's classified. :2cool:

:lol::lol:

...j/k; It was actually a reference to the quality of the camera.

To use it as I first heard it, "What did you take that picture with, a potato?" or in reference to video, "Was this recorded on a potato"?

Apologies if I inadvertently used an obscure reference to address my camera's quality (the netbook has much better quality, but rarely gets used), but I'm glad you got a laugh out of it. :D

Dusty: request a sample of the Blackberry Burley with your next order.

Though, you might find yourself regretting you only got a sample bottle. :p

Exactly. I must admit that I order mine with extra blackberry, and even that is not overpowering. It's just perfection.

OH! I've never heard taking a video with a potato. I was assuming you meant "phone" and it autocorrected to "potato". I'm still chuckling over it, tho. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

There's many things I'm hating about this newer version of tapatalk on my new phone. The latest I just discovered, search doesn't work both on a thread and general forum searches. For me, that really sucks.

I just ordered Americano Ciambella by P.O.E.T. that was on sale at a site for 25% and free shipping. It was on my list of juices to try. So after ordering it I tried to do a search to figure out why it made my list.. and I can't. It's a tobacco, so I assume it was recommended on this thread. So.. can anyone fill me in; why did I order this? lol.

The description on the site said something about maple bar.. spicy cream.. tobacco.

Realized I could go to ECF in my browser and search the thread. No mention of Americano Ciambella in this thread so must have heard about it somewhere else. If anyone has had it though, lemme know. I'm assuming the tobacco is synthetic, which I always assume unless otherwise noted. Don't really know anything about P.O.E.T. I'm pretty much clueless about all these new fancy gourmet juice makers.

According to vapers, a direct inhale into the lungs... I mostly 'mouth to lung' but do 'lung'... Both are the same going down, for me.
I thought you were confused because you said you 'lung hit, though actually mouth to lung', which is describing two different ways to inhale. Like saying, 'I drive a stick, though actually an automatic', lol.

Ya... I worded that poorly..

Though, now-a-days, you CAN say you drive a stick and an automatic ;)
