....or 100!

Yes, I've decided to extract my Green River Black Cav in a 55/45 vg/PG bath for 29 days. It will be frozen for 2 days then given a bath at 140F and strained with Whatman 1 micron filter using a Buchner under 25 in/hg vacuum. I'll pull the vacuum using a Mityvac combination vacuum with positve pressure capabilities. Available on ebay for $62.33 with free shipping. I think shipping to Canada is $10.95 but that might be because they are Candians. LOL. Anyway, once filtered the extract will be place in a stainless steel tube with one sealed end and a Shrader valve in the other end. Using the schrader valve, the extract will be stored for 6 months under 100 lbs/in pressure using the Mityvac's pressure capability. I may just use NOC instead of air, but that would waste the pressure abilities of the Mityvac.

One second thought, I think I will use PGA as an solvent and soak it at room temperature for a couple days. Maybe filter it using a coffee filter and a funnel into a coffee cup then set it aside and let the PGA evaporate. Add VG and nic and done/

EDIT: I've decided I'm just going to get some juice from RBFS.

EDIT: Currently vaping some Bobas...mmmmmm good.

EDIT: Moved on to some Cherry juice from A+.

EDIT: Quit vaping, having a Red and three fingers of George Dickel. My own rule says I can't post no more tonight.

The last couple pages of this thread have caused me to  and  uncontrollably.

Thank you all for this enlightening discussion on tobaccos and the interpersonal relationships between people who may or may not have blends named after them.

Oh, and the legal limit for posting. Can't forget that. :toast:

:lol::lol::lol:

Oh, man. I feel like I started a chain reaction....

:danger:

! I can't help it. I need to step out for a bit.

Welcome back.. :)

Since we owe this thread to you, and subsequently my very love of NETs, I'll send you a couple bottles to get you going. I've got the following from MVJ listed in the PIF/Trade thread.

Borkum Riff Bourbon Whiskey Pipe Tobacco
5 Vegas Cask Strength Cigar Vape
Ramon Bueso Genesis The Project Cigar Vape
Carlos Torano Noventa Cigar Vape
Gurkha Legend 2001 Cigar Vape

Mazinny and I are working on a trade for the Bourbon Whiskey and the 5 Vegas and possibly another bottle. I'll send you the other two that he does not pick. PM me your address and I'll get them out tomorrow.

This post got me to go back to the original thread and read the first 20 or so pages.

I gotta say the thread read very different to what it does now. Just really different. It was interesting to see how some of the original posters discovered new vendors together, usually after luceblue's reviews. First it was W2V, then HHV, then GeJ and Ahl. Lots more reviews and discussion re the juices than these days.

Understandable really, you have tried all the juices by now, and a lot of you have moved on to home extractions etc, but i do think it was more informative back then for the people just discovering NET's and the second generation NET lovers like myself...

It was kinda fun to read, all the excitement when y'all tried new juices. Gandalf seems to have been the original superstar !

My new 1:1 Magma clone RDA arrived today from slowtech. I don't need to wax enthralled at length about how amazing it is. Suffice it to say that the Magma is everything y'all have been saying: terrific design, quality construction, easy to coil, and the deep well makes it almost a tank rather than a dripper. Flavor? Oh, yeah.

I'm running the Magma with a simple single microcoil---1/16th" 26ga, 1.0 ohm (11 wraps)---wicked with KGD cotton on a Sentinel M16 mechanical 18650, and it's fabulous. if this isn't high-end vaping, I don't know what is. I had to whip up another small bottle of my home-extracted Rocky Patel Autumn 2008, because the one I had was 15mg nic, and that proved too much with the Magma. Now I have a second bottle mixed at 6mg nic, and the Magma brings out the very best of that delicious cigar NET. I've already ordered a second Magma clone, this time in PVD-coated black.

Wow. Two terrific new vaping toys in less than a week. The first was a lovely Steampipe from epipemods, courtesy of Big Juicy (thanks again, BJ!). And now the Magma. Ah, vaping bliss.

Glad that you're liking the Magma. It changed my perception of dripping for sure, and I'm pretty sure I mentioned it enough times in here.

Panmag forever!!

If the NSA reads this message out of context via ECF, I wonder what they're reaction would be to :

On the go Kayfun status.
Dripping rotation
Dripping cut

I can picture the techie telling his supervisor, " Boss, I think this one should go to the DEA. Dudes talkin about vaping exotic stuff."

Boss : " What's Va-ping? Some kind of Chinese launching platform? Better check with the DIA on that."

Jerms, you better watch out for drones. :)

Vaping John's extraction of Danish Burley in my Veritas, and trying to figure out if I want to keep it in my dripping rotation or move it to on-the-go Kayfun status. It is the best, straight-up air cures burley I've vaped, but it's still just a burley NET which I'm not huge on. It's quite good, but as I pair down my rotation to make room for the new stuff, is it something I'll reach for much to drip? Hmmmm. It just may barely make the dripping cut.

Will be spending time with my aging MVJ cigars soon to decide their fate. Pretty sure they will go to Kayfun status, though that would work quite well as they'll perform so nice in it. I can also see them being good for when a smoker asks (or I offer, which I often do) to try a puff. Smokers often are more impressed by lighter tobacco or a simple RY4 than the more exotic stuff I vape. I wouldn't be surprised if I also appreciate them more on-the-go.

I ordered several of NETs off NET.com. I chose email transaction for form of payment. I got an email response that the order was received and was given an order number. I haven't heard anything other than that since Friday. Do you all think I should email Clay and make sure everything's ok with the order or wait a couple more days
For a response? I would send cash if it's a better option for Clay. What is everyone else doing?

Tried an experiment. I was not really impressed with the juice I made from my Sutliff Dulce de Leche extract. It is kind of flat. No real body to it. I took a small bottle and mixed about 75% Dulce with 25% juice I made from my Sutliff Vanilla Royale extract. Nothing like an RY4 by any stretch of the imagination but the vanilla tobacco added body to the Dulce! I like it much better this way.

Awesome. My Magma and StingrayX from FT are showing ready to ship, sooner than the ETA when I ordered, but there's one lowly DT holding it up lol. Others have also mentioned having to lower their nic level with the Magma, why is that? Is it a harsh vape?
