When in doubt, throw it out is a good principle to adhere to, extracts & juice are relatively inexpensive to preserve your good health.

I agree. If/when any juice looks or tastes even the slightest bit funny or off, don't vape it. Get rid of it in whatever way you choose---recycling, garden pesticide, whatever. Send it to the juice cemetery.

I did check by mail payment as well. If you do credit card, just be aware that it may take a few days before you get a call so just be patient.

Checks in the mail, and order is placed. I ordered:Big Spirit, Black Cavendish, Coventry, and Balkan. I'm pretty stoked about it, these along with about 6 flavors I ordered from GeJ today will be my first travels into the true NET world.

That is, if you don't count HHV.

You are in for a surprise with Balkan ! That;s got some real bite to it compared to HHV. Which GeJ's did you you order ?

I agree with all the positive comments about H&H Louisiana Red. It's an excellent blend that translates very well to vaping. Bill and I each ordered Louisiana Red within hours of each other but never discussed it prior to selection.

I have extracted a couple of Va/Per based blends that I actually prefer to Louisiana Red. Missouri Meerschaum Country Gentleman is a Va/Per with Dark Fired Kentucky added, giving it a smokey spiciness that I really dig! H&H Virginia Spice is a Va/Per with Maduro cigar leaf making it a very interesting blend with a rich creaminess, some spice, and more body. If you like Virginia/Perique blends, Va/Per plus one may just rock your boat.

I ordered the following: Vita Bella, Wild Turkey, Patriot, Acadian Gold, Natural Perique, and The Godfather. Didn't know which one to go with so I tried to get them all.
Skeebo, all of those (haven't tried Godfather) are better after three or four weeks IMO. You ordered all of my favorite GeJ NETs, hope you enjoy them.:)

Been vaping the RBFS that came in a couple days ago and first impression is WOW. Really happy with my purchase. The current one is Petner's Pipe. Really like the up front Virginia mixed with the Burley. What I really like is the rum finish of it which I taste more on the exhale. The tobacco and rum blend well together.

I discovered I really like rum in my tobacco. Go figure, quit drinking about 8 years ago, didn't like rum too much when I did drink, but love it in my tobaccos. Life is funny at times.

johni,

Mixed at 20% (which may be a bit heavy), I found MM Country Gentleman to be light on the Perique and somewhat sweeter than I wanted. On the other hand, my 13% mix of H&H Louisiana Red hasn't been ringing my bell lately either---too spicy and not sweet enough. My solution? Frankenjuice them!

I whipped up a little bottle of "Louisiana Gentleman" using both Va/Per blends at 50/50, and the result is like Baby Bear's porridge---just right. Perique spicy, but not too spicy, and Virginia sweet, but not too sweet, with some of the Fired Kentucky to add body to the flavor. Lovely!

At least that's how I feel tonight. My palate is notoriously fickle, which is why I made up only a 5ml bottle. I might have a different reaction tomorrow, but right now, my new "blend" makes me very happy.

My first Magma build is in. Very nice.

I am a major klutz, though, trying to get dual coils through those posts.

I love the magma cause it ieasy SoMini;14188031]Thanks to everyone for taking time to comment on RBFS St James Parish as this was especially helpful to me. I particularly liked the comparsions made by Big Juicy as well as billherbst to other periques including Sandman. I think pure perique is not for me and I will stick with my VA/Per blend.

On one of my previous orders I had asked Clay for a sample of VA/Per blend. The only other VA/Per that I have tried is EV Confederate. On my second bottle of Confederate I upped the nic and this seems to have brought out the perique more (if this is possible) as I was not getting as much of the perique taste from my first order at the lower nic. Confederate higher nic and NETcom sample VA/Per lower nic taste very similar IMO and doubt very much that I could pass the Pepsi Challenge. If both had the same low nic level then NETcom would be my favorite. I would have to agree with BJ that the taste is smoky.

I did order one of N-E-T Custom Tobaccos that Clay is offering. The difference in the custom VA/Per version I ordered over the sample he sent me is that he used three different tobaccos. I know for sure the sample he sent included just VA and Per so will see what the third tobacco is once I receive this. Time will tell.[/QUOTE]

The magma is very well engineerd for ease of build.. It could be put together under a minute if you buy you coils already wraped which I recommmend. Its nothing like the difficulty of a kayfun lite.

Hmm..I wrap my own 32ga coils. My experience with the KFL (easy) and the Magma (not easy) seem to be the opposite of your experience.

That being said, I've done many KFL builds and just one Magma build. I'm sure I'll get better on the Magma in time.

That was going to be my next question, so I thank you for the advice on steeping. Is it about the same for Clay's NET's?
Preferred steeping times are all over the board, but for me, yes they are similar. Clay's NETs may blossom just a bit sooner but not much.

Definitely try juices periodically as they steep so you know what changes are taking place.

exactly why I fail at this also! Wish I had 1/10th the dexterity I had years ago......:(
We need to have a coiling session next time we're together! My dexterity is decent but my hands shake more as I get older and my eyesight is going. I can wrap good microcoils in spite of this by using magnification (lighted visor), good ambient light, and practice. I read and follow the main microcoil thread and learned a lot there earlier. I use a drill bit for my mandrel but it's a simpler process with one of the coiling gizmos that many use now.

Jerms started a thread in the tutorial forum to organize some of the coiling videos made by ECFers. Most posted there are very informative and some show that even older dudes can effectively wrap some mean coils.

It has been said before but vaping NETs without developing some coiling skills borders on masochism! I would be lost without being able to rebuild attys for maximum flavor extraction and performance on any gear.

Same here. I have a non tobacco Butter Rum that I vape almost daily in the evenings. I should mix some of that with one of my NETs.

I was scared to make coils in the beginning. The wife remembered a video of a white haired grandma showing how easy it is to make coils. Got me going. Drippers are easy compared to clearo heads.
