I got that particular tobacco because the description was the same as GeJ's Patriot. While quite good, it is not Patriot. The search continues.

BTW - I have the Black XX going in my Magma. Very good, sweet stoved Virginia but there's something else there, I can't quite figure it out yet.

Boomer, I just fired up your Cornell and Diehl Pennington Gap as I was very curious about this flavor. Any blend described as "all-American with a southern accent" is on my list to try! This stuff is delicious! :thumb: Kentucky Burley, black cavendish, Perique and bourbon make this blend a winner. Most blends topped with booze have little more than a slight booze aroma. The bourbon in this one almost violates my sobriety but it melds well with the tobaccos for a very interesting flavor. Running it in a Phoenix v5, dual micros at .6 Ω on a mech mod.

you should also do something like Gator Ade to replenish some other missing elements
I do make my own electrolyte drink. With fresh lemon, lime, OJ, honey and a little salt. Problem with Gatorade and those drinks is the sugar. But great point checkum. You do need all the electrolytes not just salt.

The description said dark fired Kentucky and dark air cured Indian tobacco. Looks like P&C quit stocking it. It came in a very tight twist and is used as chewing tobacco as well as a pipe. Definitely something different!

ETA: I did a search on tobaccoreviews.com for blends that contain Burley, Perique, and Cavendish but not Latakia. It yielded 18 results, several of which are vintage and no longer in production. Milan 401 Burley Mixture is on the list and I can vouch that my extraction of it is not close to GeJ Patriot. My "Patriot" that checkum spoke of is Missouri Meerschaum American Patriot and while quite flavorful, it isn't similar to Patriot.

Yep. I made the mistake of loading up some Backwoods Brew Maple I got from Juicy in the Magma. I forgot it was 18 mg. and I'm at 6 mg. trying to go to 3 mg. Man, talk about heart palpitations and the sweats. I diluted the stuff down to 3 mg; much better.

What did you think of it?

For those who haven't tried an extraction of Meerschaum Patriot...it is REALLY good. John did a killer job on it as usual. It is, basically, LOUISVILLE...which to e s king of all retail NET's. Around 90% of the flavor impact as Louisville with about 40% less gunk. it is GOOD.

I have said it before and i will say it again, IMHO for an "authentic smoking experience" Want 2 Vape - LOUISVILLE is the best retail NET I have ever had.

This stuff is strikingly similar in flavor, though much less on particulates and gunking.

It is really, really, really excellent

One really fine vape my friend. Hard to put down. Something you all should trade Johni for!!! :rickroll:
Thank you checkum! I'm diggin the whole Missouri Meerschaum line up. Pretty cool for a company right down the road from both of us even if it is blended in Pennsylvania.

When this man praises a tobacco, we all need to take heed.

....and find a way of procuring some to vape ASAP. :p

I know we've got Paris' contender with Poilu; looks like Johni nailed the Louisville.

:D

You know, it may be the actual tobacco used in Louisville. I'd never considered that.

Meerschaum Patriot

Now that's just going to echo throughout everyone's minds when they go to sleep.

Meerschaum Patriot

I just hope that it doesn't get stuck and jumbled when we try to visualize "Meerschaum."

:lol::lol::lol:

Also, AnthonyB, did you clean your magma out really well when you received it?

I used hot water and lava soap to clean mine out, followed by dish soap to dislodge any remaining nasties.

Threads and screws were cleaned using an old (clean) toothbrush; isopropanol might work well in removing any grime, but I don't know how the base (the white plasticy thing) will react to it. Staying safe, using vinegar then dish soap for most of my RBA cleaning.

Rebuilt my Magma with an extra wrap to bring it up to 1.17 ohms. Much better, may even add yet another wrap next time. Loaded up Organic #1 from GeJ, which I've been vaping in my Atomic all day. Side by side the flavor is identical, though the vape is warmer on the Magma even at higher resistance.

This moO#1 truly is an excellent NET. I think I'll do a full review on it tomorrow. I've only had a handful of sessions with it and I normally like to spend more time with a juice before doing a full-fledged review, but this 10ml bottle is almost gone since it's hard to put down once started.

I remember visiting the Missouri Meerschaum pipe factory, the corn cob pipe center of the world, more than once in my younger days.
I couldn't get over the thought that smoking a corn cob pipe was, well, "corny." No pun intended.
After I got home and lit up I found it to be the sweetest smoking pipe I have ever owned. Now I love vaping the entire line of Missouri Meerschaum pipe extracts!!

1.2 is where I have my singles running at on the Magma. Looks like you're headed there too. ;)

moO#1? OK, I get part of that. "O#1" stands for GoodEJuice Organic #1. But what does "mo" mean? Another cipher from the Land of Arcane Acronyms?

Haha yes, it's what will further be referred to as a C-LoAA. ;)

A bit ago it was brought up that sometimes O#1 was an amber color when received and other times a dark motor oil color. Mine came dark as motor oil, hence moO#1. I like that acronym mainly because it's udderly ridiculous (cow pun).
