Back on topic again. . .
I'm trying out MVJ's La Perla Habana Black Pearl. It is one of the new more flavor blends. There is definitely more flavor here. You still won't confuse it with net.com. It is a very noticeable difference and one I think most here would appreciate. It doesn't come across as extra extract. It still plays nearly the same on wicks. I'm not sure how she did it, but it is well done.
At nine days the vape has a variety of flavors depending on the delivery system and wattage. I'm getting the flavor of Mexican tobacco and dark Maduro. It comes across as a contrasting dark and sweet tobacco with some barnyard and hay notes. The sweetness occasionally comes across almost honey (no racoon piss) like. There are occasional flashes of wood and spice. It is a complex vape that should really come together with more steeping. I'll hold off on giving it a definitive rating for a while.
