Sorry for the delay;power went out in my neighborhood a few hours ago when I was writing my comparison
To me, AP has a pipe feel to it. Meaning, I can taste the individual tobacco's in a much more pronounced way. For instance, I can pick out the Virginia and Burley; still not to sure what I am looking for with cavendish so guessing that is what the "other" tobacco I am getting from it. Also, the chocolate is there along with the vanilla which gives it complexity. I can pick each one out in the lineup. Oh, the room note is a pipe room note for sure; nice and aromatic.
In comparison, ML has the same tobaccos; they just don't stand out as much. Meaning, it is sometimes difficult to pick them out of the lineup. However, the Virginia is probably the one that comes out to play more often then the others; it is the signature some what earthy note from EV's Virginia's. The Burley is there but more of a supporting role as it is sometimes difficult to detect. I don't really pick up the "other" which I assumed was the cavendish like I did in AP though. Might be part of what gives it the creamy note which really brings this one together. The chocolate is velvety smooth and really blends well with this one. Once in a while I get the vanilla but more often then not I don't. I have to say, this one is a difficult one to explain cause none of the flavors stands out more than the other; it is complex as all heck cause they all blend together to become a definite cigar vape; reads nothing like a pipe to my palate at least. The room note is all cigar as well; real nice though.
To sum it up, these two might have many of the same components to them but they are not the same. AP is all pipe all the time while ML is all cigar. Plus, the tobacco's are less obvious but blended well in ML while I taste the individual ones in AP. Hope that answered your question as I'm really not as talented in describing NET's like some of y'all (but trying).
