Im doing 100% vg on 3 i just started tonight. Freezer for 2 hours until it gels then transfer out for heat assisted or room temp maceration
Have you tried a 100% VG extract? I was thinking about trying it and putting it in the freezer for the first couple hours to break the cell walls. Hoping this will lead to a better flavor leach.
Cold contracts, heat expands. I don't see what or how cold would breakdown the cell walls. How does that work? Heat, under high pressure perhaps, but cold?
To my mind and according to research I have done; high heat ( over 150F ) will release flavor molecules into steam or moisture escaping the heated container. It will form on the underside of the container cover and cannot be re-absorbed causing a reduction in flavor. The best way to get the most out of an home extract is TIME. Let it sit at room temperature in the dark. Warming the stew, not over 150F, helps it along but the heat need not be applied for more than an half hour. Freezing? I would like to hear the reasoning behind that idea.
Let the oils and such get pushed out of the plants tissues by the freezing (expanding) water.
The PGA extract

setting upYou can do your maceration with PGA, and once you've filtered & Heat reduced your extract, add VG to your extract. I usually add ~70% vg to the reduced extract.
If I have 30ml of heat reduced tobacco maceration, I add ~20ml of VG for my finished extract. I don't have a PG allergy, but keep PG in my juice to a minimum, I normally mix my ready to vape juice with a 50/50 Nic juice, 100% VG & the PGA/VG Tobacco Extract @20%.

Morning
I'm getting ready to take advantage of the MVJ sale. Do they have a blend that's similar to GoodeJuice's Patriot?
Thanks!
I doubt it; as Bill says Patriot is pretty unique. MVJ uses commercially available pipe blends while GeJ works with a tobacconist to create blends specifically for extracting to make a NET. Not saying there isn't a commercial pipe tobacco that's similar in flavor to Patriot when extracted; if there is and one of the home extractors finds it, it would be big news here!Morning

Tele,
I think most of us here who have vaped GeJ Patriot regard it as very much its own creature, and not similar to any other retail NET.
Very good read; I learned a couple things. For purposes of clarification and accuracy, here's a link to a page with everything you ever wanted to know about tobacco casing syrups and top dressings:

Sounds awesome!Don't usually give a shout out to a juice, but Net.com's Fresh Ground Mocha Cafe hits all the right notes with me. It's a Cavendish/Virginia blend cased and dressed with coffee and "enhanced by dark chocolate" whatever that means. So refreshing to get a good coffee flavor without cream and sweeteners. It has plenty of tobacco impact as well. I think it's just brilliant !
Off topic..
We were speaking of "premium" juice brands the other day. Well, have a few bottles of Suicide Bunny coming from this awesome 52% off sale at Home page.
About $10 per 30ml bottle, worth a try and a chance for me to get more 6mg juices. The only flavor I've heard of is Mother's Milk. I have QnJ clone of it called Klone and I like it. Also got The O.B. and Claim Your Throne. Picked up another 18350 for less than $3 (limit 1).
Some cool stuff for dirt cheap but selections getting smaller as they sell out. Check it out!
Edit, free shipping too
