Norman, Ok
wow what a great list thank you I didnt see Naturals e-Liquid | Best Organic e-Liquid
Iike them,have you tried them?
How do they match up ?

Just because a juice claims a natural source for it's flavoring... doesn't not mean that it was extracted from tobacco. The juices talked about in this thread are all from naturally extracted tobacco's and the difference in taste from juices made from other natural flavorings is significant. The juices discussed in this thread do taste like the tobacco's they are extracted from...

Is that the 40 ? When did you order ?

Yes, it is the Vapor Shark rDNA40. The first time I ordered was around Dec. 15 but then they had a sale and the only way they could give me the sale price was to cancel my order and start over which I did on Dec. 19. The postal service out of MIA to CA is really horrible. It left on the 20th and circled around in FL and finally arrived in CA early this morning. Original tracking was showing yesterday for delivery but it did not leave Opa Locka, FL (no idea where this is) until yesterday. Unless the PO messes up here, Monday is the new delivery date. I was at VapeRev last week. I had a chance to hold the Flask and found it too big for me plus it cost much more than the VS version plus I was not crazy about the design. They do nickel builds for $5 if it is a rebuildable they carry. They have Kayfuns so the next time I go there I will take my Kayfuns with me just to try it. My neighborhood B&M does builds for me at no cost however they do not carry nickel and I assume because they do not have the DNA40 although they do tend to carry high end mods. Are you expecting one?

No not expecting one but was considering ordering one until i read the rDna thread and there were tons of people complaining about faulty boards and ridiculous delivery times so i sort of gave up on the idea until i read your post and was reminded of it again. I was just wondering if the problems have been solved.

I did receive an email back on Dec. 17 from VS stating that there was an issue with the Evolv boards. Prior to placing my original order on Dec. 15 I did send an email to VS asking about the issues with the Evolv board. The response I received was "As of now there is no fix, as 10% of the boards that were given to us had issues." When I was at VapeRev last week I noticed that one of the mods they were using was the VS DNA30 for people to test eliquids. I did bring up the rDNA40 and the guy mentioned one of the guys that works there had an issue with the VapeRev Flask and he sent it in for repair. As I had totally forgotten about the email I received I didn’t think to ask when the guy bought his Flask or what the issue was. I believe VS has/had a huge backlog to fill. Someone I know received his VS rDNA40 about a week and a half ago, loves it and has had no issues. Anyhow this is the email I received (was surprised I still had it in my Deleted Items folder).

rDNA 40 UPDATE!

Firstly, we deeply appreciate your patience through the challenges we’ve faced during the production of our rDNA 40. As you may know, the issue was identified as faulty screens and a quality control issue at a third party circuit board supplier. Evolv has now corrected this issue with a new batch of circuit boards and a new detachable screen.

Here at Vapor Shark we have been working proactively to increase production levels with Evolv and we are finally getting out of the weeds! Aside from beginning to get caught up, we brainstormed ways to make the best of a difficult situation…and more importantly, how that translates into something tangible for our customers.

Just because we were dealt a production setback doesn’t mean that we stopped innovating. Now we’re making your rDNA 40 even better than expected...so here’s a little surprise for you guys.

Your rDNA 40s will come with previously unannounced improvements... extra goodies! Rather than waiting to unveil an updated version of our device, we’ve added some new and improved features. Your rDNA 40 will now come equipped with:

Larger Screen: The numbers and characters in this new format are 30% larger (the new version runs at 128 x 32 pixels v.s. 96 x 16 in previous versions).

Zip Charge: As the name implies, your rDNA 40 will now zip through the charging process in less than half the time of previous models! Zip

Reverse Polarity Buzzer: When inserting your battery the wrong way, not only does this device boast reverse polarity protection, but it will beep until the battery is inserted correctly.

We can’t wait to get these in your hands! We know you’ll be quite pleased as your rDNA 40s begin to arrive in early January. All orders currently processing will ship within the next few weeks. No more backorders!

We are currently in production with this upgraded rDNA 40 model and we’ll send your tracking number as we begin shipping.

Thanks again for your understanding, your patience and your business.

I ordered mine from vapor shark with their cybermonday sale 12/1. I received it on 1/6. I followed this situation with the dna 40 boards from evolve very closely and VS delay in getting out the rdna 40. It was worth the wait to get one without the faulty board. Great pv... both form and function. The price can't be argued with either. I'm using nickel builds with it exclusively. My n.e.t. juices never tasted so good.

Glad to read that you are not having any issues so sounds like they have been fixed. How long are your coils lasting with NETs? When I was at VapeRev last week I had a chance to hold the Flask and found it too big for me plus it is much more than the VS plus I do not like the design. They do nickel builds for $5 if it is a rebuildable they carry, more if it is not one that they sell. They have Kayfuns so the next time I go there I will take my Kayfuns with me just to try it. The guy told me the coils last around a month but depends on the type of eliquid used and that sweeter eliquids shorten the life of the coil. I would have to assume that NETs shorten the coil life as well. My local B&M does builds for me at no cost however they do not carry nickel and I assume because they do not have the DNA40 although they do tend to carry high end mods.

I'm not sure how long they last because I change them out every other day. The wicking gets a little stale after a couple days of vaping on dark n.e.t's, so I figure while I have the tank broken down to change out the wicking I might as well put a new coil on. I just started building my own coils about a month ago and it's no big deal. The first coil I built (kanthal) took me about 10 minutes to wrap, set it on the deck, and thread it with Japanese organic cotton. I was vaping in less than 15 min's. The nickel coil is a little more unforgiving with it being softer, but again, no issues. You really should start wrapping you own coils. If I can do it, you can too.:D I've been vaping since 2008 and didn't want to deal with building my own coils because I thought it was too much of a hassle. I wish I would have started earlier.

Good luck with you rdna 40. With the temperature control, it has maximized the taste of my juices, especially my n.e.t.'s.

Got 30ml of Godfather about 5 weeks ago. First week couldn't appreciate as only taste quite strong black licorice (I'm not a fan of it). After 4 weeks of steeping the cigar broke thought but very lightly. Vaping it while writing at this moment, still not much of cigar in it and no hints of coffee/chocolate at all for me, maybe with more steeping that will appear...Licorice is prevalent and takes for my taste too much place for a NET, specially mixed with a cigar.

Patriot is maybe the best commercial NET ever tried. Organic tobacco #1 is very good. What other Nets would you recommend from GeJ, for my next order ? Wanted to try Vita Bella but not sure I'll like it as I've read that it's a custardish flavor (don't like custard), Wild Turkey is on my list.

Let me preface this recommendation with a disclaimer: I don't like cigar or pipe NETs.

That said, my fav's from GeJ are: Organic #1 and Wrangler light. I frankenmix them together and love the result!! I love using Wrangler light to "lighten" all of my darker NETs. So much so, that I just ordered 60 ml. of it!

I received my VS rDNA 40 late yesterday afternoon and am thrilled with it — really solid PV. I can only imagine what it will be like once nickel coils are used. Currently using the Atlantis and my Kayfuns will get equal time – not sure about the drippers though. I may have to go to Anaheim next week and if I do will stop at VapeRev on the way home. Hopefully they give lessons. Here is an image (if I did it correctly) of her in raw as I took her skin off for her first photo shoot.

On another topic I have a bottle of NET.com custom tRY4.1 that was mixed a couple of months ago that got lost amongst the other eliquids. This is my first time trying any type of a RY4 so I did not know what to expect. In addition to the tobaccos it has caramel and vanilla which are the typical ingredients that make up a RY4. Probably one of the biggest difference though in tRY4.1 is that is uses three different tobaccos whereas I read that conventional RY4 uses one tobacco. The caramel is quite good, just a little sweet and not over powering that lingers nicely in my mouth. The caramel for me is definitely the leader in this eliquid. The one note before I forget is that this eliquid benefits from cap off to dissipate the alcohol from the caramel flavor unless you like the alcohol taste which I think some people may.

Pure Virginia is another custom blend from NET.com. This eliquid uses three different Virginias. I do like Virginias however this blend is different in that it is not as sweet as I would have expected. I do get a small kick so I don’t know if this is coming from the Red Virginia or fire cured or both. Wherever it is coming from it does not matter because I like it. Nice change of pace as well as quite a smooth ADV for me IMO.

I haven't tried NETs RY4 but, Diane freebied me a bottle of theirs which I cracked open last weekend. Very sweet with both the vanilla and caramel a bit overwhelming. Tried it again last night after maybe a 2-3 week steep. The sweetness has mellowed quite a bit and a very wonderful and smooth tobacco is coming through. It's also a very dark juice. https://www.myvapejuice.com/product_info.php/cPath/23/products_id/12/osCsid/7f4c60a47172ef64bd74d7a9cda2af4b

It was my first RY4 too.

I really wasn't so much clarifying... as giving into my OCD side... :D

hehe

I seem to be going the other way...start grinding coffee, reach over and dismantle the dripper, go back to grinding coffee, fill cat bowl, go back to grinding coffee, wash dripper, finish grinding coffee.

Spent the morning with KillrY4 from RBFS, Gotta say, as someone who is not a fan of the ry4 type of vape, I am impressed with this one. Not really getting any one tobacco presence to this though as they seem to blend well but become unrecognizable for me. What I am getting is a nice sweetness to it; sometimes I can taste caramel, sometimes vanilla, but most times a smooth sweetness which I can not describe. It compliments my morning coffee very well. The one odd thing I got from this is my first few draws I was getting a strong latakia taste to it. After the fourth draw, it went away. I said it was odd because that is not listed in the tobaccos used. BTW, that was in a new coiled/kgd wicked, clean Origen so there was no flavor creep from a previous session. I probably is just my mind playing tricks on me but thought I'd mention that in case anyone else ever noticed that. In any event, very happy with this one; winner winner chicken dinner here!

So, dare I ask? Where is everyone? Is my beloved thread coming to an end? Have all NET's been thoroughly reviewed? Are we all posted out? Somebody has to have something to say.

I'm vaping some American Spirit in a Kayfun 4 with a .5 ohm coil and cotton. The new K4 vapes like the K3.1 only more parts to clean and complicate assembly. I added some Vanilla and Caramel to the AS but it's not as sweet as some months long steeped Louisiana Red.

Messing with hybrids on my net's . Made a disasterous caramel black cavendish and totally ruined some captain black with acetyl pyrazine [emoji4]
