I was pondering gov reg last night. Hypothetically theyd require class 10000 clean rooms as thats what they use for aerosol medications but it seems like overkill to me. Hepa filtration? Really? Im pretty sure general practice is to not leave a 5 gallon jug of pg with the lid off as it is
I'm not so sure; one would be likely to inhale a lot less aerosol medication than e-liquid throughout the day.
What would be appropriate standards?
In regards to these 'different flavors' of nicotine- I don't follow why it's even a good idea; Stick with a supplier and stay with it. I've had some 'smooth' nicotine juices with little-no TH cause me to become rapidly dehydrated faster than juices I would normally associate as having a "strong" TH relative to their respective flavors & nicotine content.
I'm sticking with Wizard Labs for the time being. Don't see why I should change anything; I'm going to be mixing 0.6-1.2% per mL, so cost is practically null (exception here is PG- never seem to have enough of that) for me.
However, I do agree with the PG...well, sanitation concerns. The floors are frequently cleaned, surfaces rarely have dust accumulation, all e-liquid handling materials always kept separate from vaping materials; I always use a transfer container, clean frequently (well, as well as one can with an electric air-duster-cannon things) and use a MERV 12+ filter; nowhere even remotely close to being 'industry' standards, (a hospital would use MERV 13-16 filter, for reference) but rather the highest I can safely use in my unit.
I sometimes wonder how many e-liquid vendors without clean-room access are doing the same.
Juice would be stupid expensive supposing we were required to have the facilities necessitating making it all (obviously, not DIY) under those conditions.
