It's not going to be much easier for others either...

The nutty portion will be found ( as mentioned ) with a Burley tobacco... there are several varieties. Just straight burley, air cured, sun cured, fire cured and aged. The fire cured will likely be pretty smokey flavored which may cover up some of the flavor notes unless it was used sparingly. So look at the other types in the ones you look at for now.

Turkish and other oriental's may also have a nutty flavor but will also often be fermented making it more earthy or musky as apposed to nutty... still something to not disregard.

A tough one is going to be the vanilla since it's often pared with something sweet like caramel also. The "saving grace" may be that it's also a flavor found in many things... so you may find it anyway.

Cavendish's are not a tobacco but a process used on tobacco's... these are often cased with various flavors including sweet, fruit and other flavors... not all casings are sweet but some certainly are. This is also a likely area to find a vanilla involved with them.

Probably focus on pipe type tobacco's more than ciggy or cigar types... these typically have more than just tobacco flavors alone. You may want to look through the descriptions at MyVapeJuice... Diane there has a lot of pipes which I've only read about... although I don't recall one off the top of my head that matches you request without also having a pretty sweet addition to it.

Both from My Vape Juice
Capital Stairs has a bit of Deer Tongue (a smokable plant) in it. That really sets it off because it adds a nice vanilla flavor without any of the extra aromatic taste or flavors processing. Call it nutty, sweet, with a touch of spice and floral notes. All of that with a vanilla note wrapped through it from beginning to end. Great stuff.

LJ Heart Burley is also a winner. A nice nutty taste with a bright Virginia note and a woody undertone from the black cavendish. It isn't the most complex taste, but it is a great spring blend. I like it on the 60 degree days. It just goes perfectly.

I posted that three pages back. You might want to use the thread search tool to help fond posts that can help you out.

Check out the first post of this thread for brief descriptions of each NET vendor. As you've discovered HHV specialises in sweet tobacco vapes, "the patisserie of NET vendors." NETs range from completely dry (unsweet) to very sweet, and everything in between. Sample around other A tier vendors. By sample I mean sample, not a 100ml bottle of one juice ;)

My personal favorites are GoodeJuice and RiverBottom. All A tiers worth checking out.

Oh boy thank you guys so much for the detailed explanations. Considering I'm not familiar with tobaccos, even as an ex-smoker, this helps a ton! I have a weird palette and I guess that is why I am venturing here (incase you guys are questioning why this clueless dude is asking for help :p ).

I'll take it for the price of shipping if you're still giving it away. I like me some Legend. I'd prefer Huntsman though, could you buy a 100ml of that and not like it too? [emoji23]

I'll PM you right away if your really interested! No offense to anyone that enjoys the Legend but man just looking at the bottle makes me cringe >.<

No worries man, most of us knew very little about tobacco until getting into NETs. Also, most of us have tried some we hated that many others love. Welcome to the thread! Feel free to post any questions you have. The thread search function is also handy, lots of info posted here and most NETs have been discussed.

We were all stumbling blindly at one point. No worries there. I really had no clue about tobacco until I found this thread. There is a lot of great info to be found if you go back through the thread. It is a journey through the evolution of NETs. Plus, you will find a lot of good links to info on types of tobacco.

Wow, went back and tried my Bourbon Spiced from NET.com and it became this spice bomb of a cigar. Last time I talked about this one it was a about two months old and at that time, it was starting to develop with a little spice. Well now it is about three months and BAM, nice spicy cigar. The spice is almost a nice bold black pepper with some other smoky aspects mixed in with a touch of sweetness. This is exactly what I was looking for when I ordered it. Oh, I remember Anthony stating it becomes even better after a year; got a stinking feeling that mine will never see that kind of life span

Yeah well, the way to steep a good NET for a year is to have so much juice you forget you even have it.

Guys I've had a bottle of Legend from HHV sitting in my cabinet for about a month. My first vape from it was gag-inducing. Do all the NETs have that sickeningly sweet taste?

I'm stuck with a 100ml bottle of it, lol. Big mistake

*sigh* this what I'm talking about with HHV. Inconsistent batches, bottles lacking in flavour. I have a bottle of Pirates Booty and a bottle of Huntsman that make me want to gag, yet my order in 2013 of these same two juices and others were some of the most divine juices I've tried.

HHV : lift your game.

PS: it seems upon re reading this post, nibs juice was sickly sweet. That actually sounds how legend should be. Sweet bliss.

Oh yeah I completely understand that. It's just that I made a huge mistake ordering it instead of one of the others. Absolutely taste is subjective I didn't mean to offend, my bad.

Any suggestions on one that is not sweet?

Also, I have no use for the bottle of Legend. Would anyone want it; say they pay for shipping? I'd hate for a 100ml bottle to go to waste :/

Send it to me. My last bottle of Legend had no flavour and was sour.
