I was surprised when I tried njoy Classic. It's definitely not a NET, but I was surprised at how good it was for a synth. The NJOY e-cig sticks are a rip-off though. Eight bucks for one stick that lasts half a day. Equal to a carton? Not even close. I wonder who makes their juice? Their juice is still nowhere near as good as GeJ's synthetics like Bull Durham and High Octane.

The njoy I've tried was definitely NOT a NET.... it was obviously a synthetic

Don't you love it when that happens? Finding after several months of steeping that juice you thought blew chunks turned out pretty good after all. Happened to me a couple of days ago with some MacBaren Danish Burley I got from Johni several months ago. Completely different profile from when it was fresh.

Today I revisited an old bottle of Fired in Georgia by QnJ. It is a little over five months old and this stuff really got better with age. Saying that because there seemed to be little to no peach for the first couple months. It was a sweet tobacco and not what I was looking for, so I put it away for a while. Well today I picked it up by accident (thought it was Fire in the Hole) and was shocked by how this turned out. The peach is exceptional and it has a smokey quality to it. Not really sure what the tobacco is as it is indistinguishable to me; just smokey so maybe something fire cured as it has fired in the name. Seems to be a common trend for me lately, the longer they (NET's) sit, the better they get. To bad I'm an impatient kinda guy...doh

I do like when that happens. Getting to the point where it's happening more and more. Guess the longer I vape NET's, the better chance for this happy surprise. Unfortunately, the longer I vape them, the more my tastes change and I get some I used to like which don't do it for me anymore as well. For instance, starting to not like straight Burley blends anymore where I once enjoyed them. Same can be said for Latakia, have to be in the mood for it now. I have many bottles of these (Burley only) so will probably let them sit and hope my tastes change back before they go bad...lol

Too bad e-cigs are not sold in service stations in Australia, though I might find these Njoy liquids in a local flea market. I might see if I can hunt a bottle down.

In the past, before NET vendors exploded on the scene, I liked the occasional Chinese synthetic tobacco liquid.

I gave up Burleys a long time ago, after having NET.com Fire Cured Burley. It burned me out on them. Used to like Burleys before then.. Now, I don't mind NETs where Burley takes a back seat, but a Burley heavy juice, I can't handle. Sigh!

Latakia, Apache was a one time favourite. Again, burned out on them after a few really strong ones, including some mixed by our regulars here. Now I prefer it in a slightly lighter profile. Enter Dunhill Early Morning. LOVE IT! Latakia is light enough to vape over extended periods of time, and yet strong enough to make it's presence known.

Last note, hit the 3 year smoke-free mark today... I'm loving every minute of it.

Last, last note, my favorite Cigar vape to date is DIY NET Isa Del Sole, good tobacco with Coffee/ Cocoa notes, excellent in the morning & early afternoon.

Thanks, I was ready when I stopped analogs, hated the taste and smell on my clothes, after the first ~7-10 days of vaping, I didn't want or need an analog.

I've had a craving or two the past 18 months due to stressful personal situations, boosting my nicotine and using it as often as needed to satisfy any cravings, made it easy. I always keep several different nic levels, never know when I'll need an extra kick in my vape juice.

Now I prefer it in a slightly lighter profile. Enter Dunhill Early Morning. LOVE IT! Latakia is light enough to vape over extended periods of time, and yet strong enough to make it's presence known.

Interesting Dusty, I've also come to prefer ( after 2 years cig free) all of my juices much weaker in flavor than before...I mostly DIY so it isn't a problem, but man before I couldn't get it strong enough....guess my taste buds have finally grown fully back....and now you've got me wanting some of that Dunhill EM, I'm guessing that's from MVJ.

Yeah you may well be right. Around 4 years ago many US vendors selling tobacco synthetic liquids were rebranding Hangsen and Dekang and selling it as their own.

The RY4 recipe originated from those Chinese manufacturers if I am not wrong. It was definitely around in spades back then in Dekang and possibly Hangsen.

There were some US made synthetic tobaccos around then that were downright awful.

When vendors like Backwoods Brew, Vaperite, Halo and Alien Visions came out that all changed.

I have Dunhill Early Morning happening now and yesterday I got what appears to be a flagon of NIghtcap after taking advantage of the sale and finally using my Secret Santa Gift...Love that stuff.

That's actually a good idea. It might cut down on the room note or aroma they put off as that is what really gets to me with straight burley blends lately. It is a little off-putting to my senses. However, I don't notice it when mixed with other tobaccos so it must be the aroma of straight burley that bothers me.

I don't worry to much about Latakia blends though. When I am in a mood for them I will vape them for hours at a time, it just seems I don't be in the mood for them as much as I once was. I kind of blame that on my vaping more cigar NET's lately. It's almost like they provide the same satisfaction I go Latakia for.

Anything new and promising at MVJ that hasn't been discussed here. I'm putting an order in for Hearth and Home Lousiana Red Pipe, Dunhill English Morning Pipe and Drew Estate Heirloom Cherry Pipe so far. I placed my first order from MVJ in early Dec. which was cigars. I had it sent to my US mailing address and my ex-wife said "I sent it" and much later "They sent it back" we'll see when i go back in June.

The one I would definitely try is the La Jugada Prieto. I haven't extracted one yet. I did smoke one recently on a trip to Nashville. By the last third the chocolate and coffee were so tho k I was tempted to take a bite.

Agreed on the La Jugada. Very strong flavor profile and an excellent candidate for extraction. I wonder how the Curivari Reserva Limitada Cafe Noir would do, it's like smoking a chocolate bar.

I smoke a cigar every evening after dinner. I've pretty much become a Habanos snob and only smoke a handful of Nicaraguans any more, but there are a few that I still adore. For anyone interested who still isn't against an occasional stogie since they picked up vaping, I strongly recommend the following. Cubans: San Cristobal de La Habana El Principe, Saint Luis Rey Regios and Serie A, Trinidad Reyes, Cohiba Robusto, Ramon Allones Specially Selected, and Punch Punch. Nicaraguans: Illusione Original. I love these. Really good in Churchill and Lonsdale formats, the 888 Slam and f9. Maybe the one Central American cigar I feel can stand proudly with the Cubans. Also a fan of Curivari, Casa Fernandez and Viaje, which surprise, all use tobacco from the same farm as the Illusione line. Good stuff. Sorry guys, didn't mean to derail.
