So I used a clone mini-Protank for a 1.5 ml NET fill up for going out for a few hours. Next day after cleaning I noticed the colored glass tank was speckled. The color medium wiped right off the tank onto a q-tip. Gave it to my Grandson who took it to his College Lab and he tells me it's mostly lead.
Moral of my post; be careful what you buy on the cheap from China. It wasn't the juice, it was the warm cleaning water that caused the bonding agent to fail.
I had five of those clones. Now I have none.

Been looking though this thread on and off for years now, thanks for all the good posts! Haven’t had the chance to try many of the NETs mentioned here as most are across the ‘pond’, perhaps one day! I have tried some of the ones from House of Liquid though and they’re very good. A couple that I haven’t really seen mentioned here are the ones from Red Vape and T-Juice’s Primo Verde & Cubana, definitely worth a try.

I'm still pretty new to this myself but thought I'd speak up anyway.
When vaping my first NET liquid in a Subtank with OCC coil, I noticed the brand new coil was gunked before finishing the first tank. Flavor started going away and quickly started to taste a little burnt.
The RBA deck that came with your tank should already have a .5 Ohm coil installed. Look over some of the the wicking tutorials on You Tube and give it a try when you are ready. You'll want to build your own coils for vaping this stuff or it will get very expensive. The OCC coils can put out some good flavor but gunk pretty fast with any juice, in my experience.
When tasting new juice, always do it with a clean coil and new wick to get the best impression of it. Two very good flavors on their own can taste very bad when vaped with the same wick.
There is almost always some degree of hassle with vaping, IMO but it's worth it.
Metal, many thanks. Its funny you mention the wicking of the RBA coil. I spent an hour last night, re-wicking it several times. The first time I didnt have enough cotton and it was popping. Someone online said it was too little cotton. So i rewick. Too much cotton then, no air flow. Rewick...airflow fine but after 10 hits it started tasting burnt. Rewick. After 7-10 hits, same burned taste. Again, same thing.

A lot of us Subtankers struggle wicking the RBA. Some people never seem to have a problem. Sometimes when it's dry hitting, if I take the chimney top off and move the wick around a little, it takes off and vapes fine. Other times, I have to start over. Some people use a dremel to cut bigger juice channels in the thing. Not being an expert, all I can say is research it here and on You Tube. When you get it right, it will blow you away how good it is. But you might decide to smash it with a hammer out of frustration first.

This is pure truth. I love my subtank with the OCC heads and a gunk-free 50:50 juice. I want to love the RBA but the juice flow is just too finicky. I'm planning to open up the slots on one of the RBAs with an abrasive wheel on my Dremel, but too busy playing with other attys ATM to try it. For now, I'm relegated to using it as my "stealth rig" to vape 50:50 unflavored. Works flawlessly.
C'mon Kanger, get this RBA thing right.
If others are not having issues... then it's not Kanger that is at fault but the builder. The thicker juices will require larger juice channels, but juices vary a lot so it's always a compromise between building for thinner or thicker juices... if they build it for the thinner ones, it can then be modified for thicker juices but it can't be modified if it were done the other way around.
The build is basically a scaled down smaller version of the Kayfun tank's build... start there ( and don't blame hardware until you are already well versed in it's use )
Actually, I think the fix is pretty obvious. Taper the juice channel and let the builder adjust the flow by how far they screw the cap down. But hey, I've only had one of these things for 5 months and I still think it's a poor design, so what do I know?
Like Vicman said, steeping is very subjective. Especially when it comes to 'improving' with age. Many juices change as they age, whether that's for the better depends on the individual. The majority seem to find that made-to-order juice improves from a few days to several weeks. Easy rule of thumb is.. if it tastes good, vape it. If not, try it again later. Don't dismiss a juice early, especially if you're new to vaping. And always shake juice well before loading!

Steeping stopped being an issue for me as my juice stash grew. Most orders are well-aged by the time I dig in. The only issue comes up with the rare, but very real, reverse steeper! I've also found that I enjoy juice fresher now after years of vaping. A lot of 'steeping' was really just giving myself time to adjust to and make sense of new flavors.

Got some vapor rite vr4 , think its a natural tobacco.
Mixed on May 1 and I got it May 13.
Seems it needs a bit more time, unless the juice leans more towards the tobacco than any other flavour.
Mainly for someone else who likes tobacco flavours but more the ones with caramel and vanilla tones than straight tobacco.
Also got them one of the organic madigascar vanilla.

I've tried GEJ Vita Bella in a Tugboat clone, a Doge and a Subtank RBA. All three give me a really bad vegetable taste when vaping this juice. I was thinking this was supposed to be a vanilla tobacco but I get nothing like that so something is wrong but I don't know if it's something I'm doing or if the juice is bad.
I'm guessing the juice is fine, just not one to your liking. GeJ does have the occasional dud batch, but that's rare. Vita isn't a standard vanilla tobacco by any stretch. It was debatable if vanilla is even the 'other' flavor in that juice until Nick from GeJ confirmed it's a little known french vanilla flavoring that's added. Plays a little like vanilla custard tobacco to me.
Many absolutely love Vita Bella (I'm one) but some despise it (mainly Canadians). It's a very unique NET. It does change quite drastically as it ages. I'm finishing off a bottle that's over a year old, and it's kind of a simple vanilla tobacco at this stage. Personally I prefer it fresher.
Also about Vita Bella, there's some who won't touch it until it's several months old. They hate it fresh but love it well aged. So worth keeping tucked away if you don't like it fresh.
I'll give a shout out to vaperite they resent my order after I mentioned that I had not received it in 5 weeks.
They said just keep the first order if it ever arrives. Got the second order in under two weeks and the next day the first order arrived.
Turns out the dogs picked up something that could have been a biosecurity issue and the department of agriculture had a look at it.
All was good and nothing removed. Don't see why it added around 5 weeks.
