Its a missunderstanding. I want to know what this flavour is ? I have tasted flavours in balkan that i like and one i did not like, because it tastes like fir needles for me. It is a sort of tobacco ?

Jonny, Balkan is a Latakia I think. Latakia are often very grassy tasting and won't suit all vapors. I'm not really a fan of Latakia either unless it plays a background note. I prefer woody, spicy, leathery and oily tobaccos.

Occasionally i get a desire for some Latakia based liquids but I can't vape them all day.

Digging you out? Seems dramatic, but I digress. I just think deciding the flavor is too weak before even trying it is odd.

Lol..

All things being even, I will always opt for extra flavor (which is actually extra extract) shot even if I have never ordered from a vendor before.

In my experience, most of the time, the standard is often too light for my palate and very rarely overpowering. Ordering from MVJ regularly conditioned me to always get the extra flavor shot. I always get the extra flavor shot from NET.com as well when available.

Taken from N-E-T.com's webpage for Balkan... as I mentioned, Clay described it already

Puh. Thanks Anthony. I have ordered the smooth throat hit and a minute ago i have canceled the smooth nicotine. Hope they will change the order. My order is now with 50/50 pg/vg, extra flavour and 6mg.

One question. If you buy at net.com, do you choose the heat or the cold extraction ? I have always ordered the heat extraction with 70pg/30vg, extra flavour and nicotine. If you have other tips, please let me know. I am still learning all the stuff.

I suspect that it is the oriental tobacco (Macedonia) that you perceive as fir needles.
I have found that cold extractions are more coil friendly vs. heat extraction.

Interesting. I will read it tomorrow. I have also ordered the smoked latakia from net. I am very excited as i like it or if it tastes like fir needles. But to learn what kinds of tobaccoa my favourites are is cool.

I was told on another forum that the lighter and more cigarette type juices were kinder to coils...any thoughts people?
True. I have tried all of the NET.com cig-style juices. At least 60mL worth of each. The darker the juice, the faster the gunking. NS Dark is the gunkiest of the cig-styles (but not all that bad). Of all the NET.com flavors I have tried (28 and counting not including samples), Black Cavendish + Extra Flavor Shot + 20/80 takes out my coils the fastest. As in within a few vaping sessions. 7th Cut standard mix has probably the most coil-friendy.
Did hear the Turkish was a cooler killer else would try that.
Versus their fire-cured and smoked juices, Sun-Cured Turkish is comparatively easy on coils. One of the easiest, in fact. This is dripping between 0.12 Ω to 0.22 Ω on mech fired 22g duals which is one of the more offensive setups in terms of creating gunk. Still trying to find that perfect flavor and ratio for my builds that last at least two days without rewicking (probably going to settle on 60/40 or 50/50 + no extra flavor shots). I would rather have a higher VG ratio and extra flavor, but am growing weary of the dry burning/rewicking/resistance checking cycle multiple times daily.

Jonny, I really hope Vash changes your order on time. Vash is usually quite attentive and unless he sent your order out already most likely will see your email if you send one.

To answer your question about heat extraction and cold extraction, I tend to get both because with many juices, the cold extraction is not available. When it is available I tend to prefer cold extraction.

Cold extraction is a process where a tobacco which is being macerated in a solvent (quite simply, a tobacco soaked in PG/VG), is left at room temperature to mature. The ideal time to do a cold maceration is about 6-8 weeks. A cold extraction is said to give the flavor of the extraction a little more nuance and complexity.

Heat extraction is when the tobacco is macerated in a solvent which is heated up, usually to about 120-160 degrees Fahrenheit which is just warm enough to leave your finger in for 10 seconds without it getting uncomfortably hot, kind of like the temperature of a hot bath. The jar of Pg/VG with the tobacco is put into this warm bath for a period ranging from about 12 hours to 48 hours. This is done to speed up the maturing process of the extraction. The result with heat extracted liquids is said to be stronger, more robust but lacking in some complexity.

As a general rule, but by no means, a rigid rule, I tend to like cigar and cigarette like liquids heat extracted and pipes with a delicate balance of tobaccos, cold maceration, if they are available. Cavendish, Latakia, Turkish and Periques are probably better of getting cold maceration if available to bring out the complexities in those juices.

I suggest you try both but it does seem as time passes that cold maceration seems to be the preferred choice for NET vendors.

I think you mean more like 120-160 degrees. 300-400 very hot and you would not want to put your finger in that!!!!!!! You could loose your finger!

Some really interesting posts here, am now looking forward to my order when more...

On the cold and heat extractions...Black Note cold extract all their juices...my impression is this definately gives a more subtle and nuanced flavour compared to the other nets I have tried, which I think are likely heat extracted.

You take a bath at 300 F and your next order is on me.

Cool ! I have googled and 200°C is not very cool. AnthonyB, the man of steal is flying again. Welcome back Clark Kent ! LOLLOL.

Interesting again. You prefere cold m. if you want to taste all flavours excatly and if you want a strong like cigar its better to order the heated one. I will try the turkish in cold the next time. But whats referring the steeping time ? The heated ones tastes immediately. Do you have to steep the cold ones longer before trying, if you want it strong and tasting all the differnt flavours better ?

I think, cold one have to be better after a long steeping ?

In the morning I prefer a self rolled cigarette with a little dryed american spirit tobacco to my coffee. I like my coffee with a very strong cigarette smoke. Many of the net juices i have tried are very good during the day, but i want more and stronger flavour. I cant get enough.

Now, its time for a litte poll:

What is the strongest net juice with good taste you have ever vaped ?

Tough question....

For me House of Liquid - Guevara. Killed my coils though.

Of the non coil killers,so far HoL El Puros Naturales & Red Vape Shade Reserva get my vote. The Shade probably just about shades it!

Think this may change when I try the Clay net juices....

I suspect cold will change during steeping but remain more subtle than neat extracted. But I cannot say that for sure.

Have you tried the extra extract @ www.naturally-extracted-tobacco.com ? Could be your answer....for more and stronger flavour...
