Kaboooommm :evil:Is heat extraction difficult or dangerous ? Can you give me a link to the best extraction tutorial in your opinion, pleeeaassse ? I want to make a net like the sun curred turkish or virginia from net.com. I cant believe that its sooo easy.

I believe someone posted a link to a how to thread the last time you asked about it... I didn't check it out since I was not interested in making my own ( at least not yet )

The method I've read of is safe... you put the tobacco in a jar, pour your PG or VG over it and place it into a slow cooker for a time. Then filter it ....

Aha, a slow cooker. Never heart about it. Very interesting. Thinking about to buy such a cooker. Found some on amazon. It cant be so easy like cooking some potatoes, because all net vapers would do it. But you or others have written about filtering. I like this idea and i will read at the weekend. Thx

Believe me there is no VooDoo involved. rdsok is right, it is safe and easy. I used the cold method myself and got a much richer result, although it took much longer. Personally I also got a much more flavorful and stronger taste by not filtering the fluid as much as some here do. Yes, it gunks quicker, but the taste is worth it and dry burning the coil remedies that for a few time before replacing.

I use a rice cooker! Works great. I let the water warm up to 120 Fahrenheit (not 400 Fahrenheit lol) and then put it on the warm setting. A standard sized rice cooker fits 2 or 3 mason jars.

The eternal NET predicament - how much flavor do you want, how much gunk do you want to reduce. We can't have it both ways. When someone develops a technology where we can have maximum flavor in NETs with no gunking then I would like to have a stake in that business.

Compared to what... actually smoking tobacco ... not vaping at all...

My point is that it's still a matter of harm reduction compared to smoking tobacco. I'm also not certain that the added flavor increases the size of the particulates in the vapor substantially, but that is a guess based on no data to base it on also.

Aha. Therefore you have talked a litlle about the importance of filtering ?

And a lot of you have made an own extract ? I am a little bit astonished, that you are buying expensive juices. Is it a question of time because it will cost much time to extract more than only one tobacco or perhaps to try a lot of new juices like me at the moment ? At the moment i am thinking that its a good idea, to try all good famous net juices to learn, what tobaccos i real like. Later perhaps buying these tobaccos and try an own one.

I am thinking a little about money, money, money lol,but i hope its only the time for getting to know good juices and if i know them, it can be a little bit cheaper. I like my car !

I probably should have saved the links to the info about the amount carcinogens that were found in NET extractions but I didn't ... I do remember it was minimal to almost non-existent depending on the method used. Those links are either in this thread or in the first natural tobacco thread ( part one ) but finding them would be a lot of work and reading.

Those along with Spirit menthol were the ones I was smoking when I quit. I'll need to try some pouches.

Lil' Brown Smoke Shack has the pouches but not all the different tobacco types are in stock at any given time. A can is too much but the pouches are perfect.

Interesting, i will try it. Its making CO2 and kaaaboooom :glug:
Is it a receipe from your mother ?
At the moment i try it with a washer tab. Thanks !

I should say that small amounts work best. Put the baking soda on, around and inside the coil ( which should be enclosed by a small container ) then fill a syringe with the White or Apple Vinegar and give the Baking Soda a squirt. Three passes usually cleans the toughest gunk, even when dry and crusty on an old coil. Rinse and install your favorite wicking material. Your good to go again.

I still use several HH357's and 510 atomizers. This is how I have cleaned them. None have quit. Several are coming up on 3 yrs.

A pot on your stove-top works just as well, add enough water to the pot to submerge ~1/2 of the mason jar containing the Tobacco & PG mixture, low heat in the neighborhood of 60-70 Celsius/ 140-160 Fahrenheit... I prefer using Cold-Maceration.

The extraction process itself is simple. Only experience will get you a tasty juice. Many juices made from extracts I've received from other members of this thread are as good or even better than store bought NET's.

If your into the cigarette taste get yourself a pouch or two of American Spirit tobacco. My favorites are the black Perique and the light blue Full Bodied. If you can't find the pouches or cans for sale you can get about 120 mls of extract from a pack of the cigarettes themselves. When you realize how much juice you can make for waayyyyy less than store bought juice you'll never look back.

Tis true! The Peter Stokkebye London Export I used to smoke (RYO purchased in a pouch) was my first try at a NET. It came out great. Now I'm going to try a few tobaccos (Ligero esp.) from leafonly.com; love a good cigar vape.
