I received the news letter from Vash at Ethervapes. They are closing shop. He stated numerous reasons in the news letter, one of which was pending FDA regulations. However, it appears the largest reason is his business partner and him split and in order for him to properly extract/mix/take orders/ship, he would have to work until about 3am. This would take its toll on his family life so he had to make the difficult decision to close shop.

I chatted with him via email and he stated if you want to know his future plans to contact him through the website or if you want, pm me for his email address.

This is sad news for me as EV was one of the two companies I order from. In fact, I order all my non cigars from Vash as I really like the Virginia he uses and his new Turkish, Djinn, was fantastic. I hate to see one of the great extractors leave the business but such is life. Good luck in the future Vash and thanks for the great product over the years.

I suspect that once FDA regulations become reality most retail NETS will disappear.

...Yeah, that's right, rub it in!!! :)
I tried Perique: King Of Vapes and found it to be pretty good although I prefer St James Parrish from RBFS and Choctaw Perique from NET.

anyone heard if RBFS will be back in business again? They don't even answer this question by email...

So sad about Vash and Ethervapes. I mostly home extract but he does have a few I still purchased. And I, also, fear with the deeming regs the only way we will get true nets is to extract ourselves. Wonder what is going to happen to the cost of pipe tobacco because I believe they will also fall under regulation/taxing of some sort.

Hey Netters, one of my rare drop in visits these days. How is every one doing? HAPPY NEW YEAR!! What's new on the NET scene?

Just read about Vash and EV a few posts up. Sad to see a good NET company close shop. What's up with RBFS?! Any new players? Any more old players out of the game?

Finished the Pirate's Drunken Sweet Tooth some time ago. Figured I'd better take a break to "forget" how good that juice was before starting the next one.

Busted open a bottle of Caven Fever tonight and it's another winner! Nice, smooth with a subtle sweet twist on the end.

I sure hope RBFS rises from the ashes because I've really liked 3 of the 4 bottles opened so far.

Just read about Ethervapes. Quitting for all the right reasons, but still a loss. I did get a bottle of Total Eclipse ordered before the axe fell. Still steeping for now...

Off to vape and watch some mindless comedy for a half hour.

Cheers to a New Year! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.

It has been awhile since I posted. I am still vaping Clay’s NETs along with other non-NET ejuices. Over the past few months I have switched exclusively to his hybrids which I enjoy very much. For the most part, I like them early on so a shorter steep time. Because of this, I buy in smaller quantities now. Some that I have tried include:

Chocolate Mint (beta): I really enjoyed this one. For me it is a very rich dessert and tastes like an Andes mint.
Chocolate Dipped Watermelon: I could definitely smell the watermelon and it smelled so good. When I went to vape it, I think the chocolate muddled the watermelon. I am going to let it steep longer.
Mango Vanilla Hybrid: The label states “B-A” Mango Vanilla. When I first started vaping Clay’s NETs, Borescoped’s B-A Mango Vanilla was one of my favorites that I always had on hand. The new hybrid version taste much the same as I remember however with the mango bumped up. I prefer the hybrid version because of this.
Muth’s Mix: Although this one has been out for six months or so, this is another one that I have in my stash. I use to vape the Coconut Cavendish but much prefer this version.
Peaches and Cream: IMO a really nice peach NET somewhat on the sweet side so I do let this one steep longer for a more blended flavor.
Stuffed Strawberry: I tasted a subtle sweet strawberry and the tangy cream cheese. The strawberry reminded me more of a good quality strawberry jam but not as sweet like a jam.
Chocolate Macaroon: The chocolate tasted more like a powder style chocolate cocoa IMO.

All of the above are re-orders for me except maybe Chocolate Dipped Watermelon. I missed out on the last sale. I noticed some of the new hybrids use cigar tobacco. Being that I am not a cigar vaper, I need to check with Clay before I order as to the intensity of the cigar taste. Gingerbread and Cinnamon Sugar Cookie in particular sound good to me.

Sorry to read that Vash decided to close down even though it has been a year or so since I last ordered from him.

Been working my way through my net llc stash. All with extra extract.

Speaking Spirit - love this one, very cigarette'ish. Smooth, slight lift from the Perique, lovely resinous mouth coating.

Poliu - wow that Latakia has a hit. Hunch that it may round off and bloom through a long steep.

Gypsy Brunes - after 4-5 weeks steep has rounded and bloomed. Love it.

Izmir/Oriental - excellent.

Sun dried Turkish - also excellent.

The Raven and Ruins sit steeping...5 weeks so far...trying to keep in juice drawer until at least 2 months when I may have to Vape as no cash and other juices in drawer may well be gone by then.

In the kayfun lite I am getting 2-3 ml before having to dry burn and rewick. Gave up in these juices with factory coils, too much hassle and expense.

Fantastic range, just fantastic.

Gingerbread is awesome! My bottle lasted about 3 days and ordering more soon.

I swear there's honey in it or I'm losing my mind. That's one flavor I usually can taste on the jump bcoz I can't stand it. But also not a huge fan of strawberry so maybe that's it.

After steeping, hopefully the other flavors come out more

I believe the main reason may be that the graham cracker flavor might have a honey component. Many graham crackers possess honey as a sweetener, so perhaps that's the culprit?

Good to see you my friend, I hope you're feeling well, I'm not use to seeing such short posts from you , and I agree with your concise analysis of the Graham component as the culprit, good call. :thumb:
