I did HnH Burley Kake as well, and use it in a RY4D hybrid. Great minds! What's your formula?

Sent from my SM-T320 using Tapatalk
It's an adaptation of Bill Herbst's BKRY4:
BK 7%
Natures Flavors Caramel 5%
NF Caramel Cream 5%
NF Bavarian Cream 5%

The Bavarian Cream adds the vanilla. I need to experiment more, but for now this is GOOD for me. What's your recipe?

ETA: Yea, Scarfy was an inspiration to all us home extractors back when she started the extraction threads. For me she kinda "paved the way".

Have you ever tried it ?

No, I prefer macerating Cigars and love the Drew Estate line, my Kuba Kuba and the Retail Kuba Kuba I had were close but not exact since I Cold & Window Sill Macerate for 60-90 days using Potato Vodka as my extraction liquid.

After 60-90 days, I use a low heat reduction of 70-80% before adding some PG/VG to the extract, which preserves the extract when using PGA or Vodka, if PG/VG isn't added the extract may sour, happened to my first extract of Kuba Kuba... failure always leads to trying different methods in search of a better DIY NET Extract.

I'd imagine my American Spirit would differ with this maceration method as compared to a Heat extraction with PG.

I believe most of Clay's extractions are using the Heat Method, at least the ones I've tried like Sun-cured Turkish, Grilled Pineapple and Air-Cured Blackberry Burley have been.

Okay NETizens to get a new week started lets list our top 3 MUST HAVE NETs whether commercial or home made. Ready, set, GO!

My must have NETs which I cannot have missing in my inventory are:

1) Patriot - Goodejuice
2) Air Cured Burley - Naturally-Extracted-tobacco.com
3) Confederate and Bali Nights (can't choose between them) - Ethervapes

Mine is simple equal parts premixed RY4D @12% and extract (at 15%, give or take)

Have you tried the organic spirit ?

Burley blast is interesting. Never tried. Is it the same as the other burleys or do you taste a difference ? Clays burleys are very good.

Not tried organic spirit.

Burley blast has the same smooth roundness as the fire cured...different yes but not a lot.

Blimey only three...

Ok currently...

The Mercenary from net.com...love all from net.com but this one stands out and as they gunk my coils I am looking elsewhere for the next two...

El Puros from HoL...long time trusty stand by...get fed up with it now and the so leave off it for say a week and the. Love it again...

Forte from Black Note...I like their whole range but currently vaping this and I think the bottle has steeped because it tastes darn good

Next week it'll be another three entirely!

Interesting point from Jonny re. Changing flavours with nets (actually applies to vaping in general), it's an odd one as I always smoked one or two brands of analogues, but like beer or wine or food, vaping lends itself to mixing and swapping the flavours.

Three Choices as of Now:

H&H Louisiana Red DIY
Seattle Pipe Club Seattle Evening with menthol added DIY
NET.com Sun Cured Turkish and or Dunhill Nightcap DIY
GL Pease Jackknife "with a bullet"

That sun cured turkish is certainly a fine one!

But this is the interesting thing referring nets. As a smoker you are smoking only one or perhaps two tobaccos and a vaper has many good ones.

Well, if you put the effort into it, there were nearly as many tobaccos you could roll or put in a pipe and of course countless cigars.

You could even buy single varieties and mix you own blends.

But like NETs and other premium liquids, you wouldn't find them at the gas station. Even local vape shops have limited options just like pipe and cigar shops.

Me, I searched RYO for what I liked and stuck with it. I vape the same way. Find something I like and stick.

Thanks. I have a fire cured burley and have tasted 2 or 3 other burley. I like them all. I am searching for a new taste. A new turkish orient would be interesting or a new stronger cigar. The perfect net could be for example patriot by breathing out through the noise and one of Clays by breathing in in the mouth. Perhaps mixing patriot with an extract from Clay or home made.

Its a very big difference. I like cigar and some pipe nets too but i wouldnt smoke a pipe or a cigar. As a smoker i like only cigarettes. As a net it dont plays a role.

General lol. Late response.

I don't know about everyone else but my must haves don't generally change from one week to the other.

Bad sport ! Do you know if Clay has an alarm system ? Perhaps little foggy could keep watch for the police.

Where is foggy ? Quak, quak... Has he drunk the complete litre from Clay ?

Jonny do you know what happens to curious little German
Boys when they try to enter Fort Knox or fort Alamos ? :0

I don't vape NETs like I used to, but my must haves are:

Hearth and Home Louisiana Red
Missouri Meersham Country Gentlemen
Hearth and Home Burley Kake
All home extractions, I love a good perique! The Burley Kake is a good burley, and I also use it to make a much loved RY4 (thanks Bill Herbst!)

There's a bit of Hearth and Home going on here clnire.

I don't think I have a single Hearth and Home juice.

I remember we have very similar tastes. I too love the Drew estate line. I always enjoyed Kuba Kuba, Cold Infusion and Acid Blondie. Nobody makes them like Want2Vape in my experience, at least among commercial vendors.

Yea, I don't vape a lot of NETs, or tobacco flavors in general, anymore, but those are my faves and I have LOTS of extract and more tobacco to extract!

Okay NETizens to get a new week started lets list our top 3 MUST HAVE NETs whether commercial or home made. Ready, set, GO!

Current top 3:

1. Gold Leaf from EV. Bought some extract from Vash because life would feel empty without.
2. Desert Cherry-NET.com. Not sure why, just been loving this one. On my second bottle and it is becoming a go to vape lately.
3. A toss up between Eclipse and Starry Night from NET.com. I say toss up because Starry Night has been a favorite for a while now but am really liking this new cigar of Clay. Think it is the addition of Latakia which is really getting my attention lately.

This was tougher than I thought as most times, I mix and match from drip to drip. Had to think of the ones I take with when going to watch a game with a group of friends. Those have been the ones that been traveling throughout the playoffs so they got the nod.

I dunno...would you eat the same thing in the restaurant or at home every night?

Do you drink the same thing every night?

Smoking was all about nicotine and hand to mouth sensation for me...never being a cigar or pipe man my tendency was to always smoke the same brand.

With vaping I find I treat it more like food or drink and change the flavour up.

Two reasons perhaps a. I get vapers tongue from most of not all juices if I don't change regularly and seemingly in contradiction b. Many flavours just start to taste worse after a while or simply don't lend themselves to constant use.

It's something I have noticed...less,so in the net world but with the sweet flavours people change the whole time.

Finally an anecdote...net.coms Poliu which I am vaping and loving tonight...hat smoked latkia gets too much for me after awhile and to be sure I won't enjoy it tomorrow...

And yes I am fickle!
