Each new synthetic is made with a different tobacco recipe so I can't speak for all, just the one I have which is Americano. In this case, yes, the difference between the old Tennessee Original tobacco (TNO) and the tobacco flavor here is night and day. Absolutely no perfume, tangy, chemical, or artificial tasting notes. The feel is closer to an authentic cig than artibacco flavoring.

Thanks Jerms. Hmm, anything I might have tried that you could assimilate it to?

For the Americano, who's on top.. the coffee, or the baccy?

I vaped GeJ Natural Perique yesterday after steeping for 22 days. Wow! It was like seeing a beautiful topless Scandinavian woman at the beach for the first time :) Great experience!

GeJ Natural Perique:
Days since arrival: 22
Nicotine level (mg/mL): 6
PG/VG: 50/50
Bottle size (mL): 12
Equipment: Halo Triton 2.4 mL tank and Triton VV
Tobacco impact: Medium
Overall weight: Medium
Throat hit: Light to medium
Aromas and flavors: Fresh baked bread, cedar, leather, stewed tomatoes, seaweed, hint of Natural cigar wrapper
Dimensions: 4
Notes: Very very interesting, complex and savory vape! A must try for vapers especially who like fermented/funky flavors in stinky cheeses, kimchi etc.. It's not that strong or stinky but it is a very unique fermented tobacco experience. It needs to steep at least three weeks...

Ewwww. This just made me throw up in my mouth a little.... those that like fermented/funky flavors in stinky cheese? That just sounds like vomit... the buck stops right there for me... I'm good!

Not sure if srs. Post.

Not that I can think of. It's pretty much a basic cig like tobacco flavor, with the notes of tobacco without the odd artificial flavors that are common in synthetic tobacco vapes. The coffee and tobacco are pretty evenly matched. An espresso flavor that has a fairly strong presence alongside the tobacco, which I prefer in a coffee tobacco.

I'm sure the new Outlaw would give a much clearer picture of what's going on with the tobacco. I'm looking forward to that one and Gambler (an RY4 with hazelnut in addition to the caramel, vanilla, an cig style synthetic tobacco). Haven't heard anything here about Belgian Briar (dark cocoa alongside sweet pipe) or the reformulated Blue Ridge here yet.

I'm just hoping for more of a blueberry presence in the new Blue Ridge. In the older version, it's a few fields away -- way to the back. I've only seen mentions of it in th talkbacks on the site itself. Most of the new flavors have at least 1 review posted there.

Very - but if the mood strikes, there's nothing else like it.

In other news, been off the grid for awhile slammed with work and other (gamers will get this acronym) IRL stuff. I was (ashamedly) five pages
behind in this thread, and I haven't posted since...?

Blargh, I say! Blargh!

@billherbst: Very late to your RBA adventure. Jerms nailed it. It took me a bit to get the hang of a good RBA setup, but with that hurdle cleared,
they are my go-to when I want to understand a liquid well. I just had a great experience with N-E-Tcom's Black Cherry that way because
prior to I had only vaped it in a cartotank setup. It continues to interest me that there is so much variation in the way people perceive
taste when vaping. Clearos, cartos, RBAs, RDAs (top and bottom feeders) - there's a group for each, and each swear by their favorite.
Not sure if that helps or amounted to anything other than bloviation, but hey, I tried.

... So far this update: MOV confirmed, in their supplier forum thread, that there is Hazelnut flavoring in Gambler -- so I'm out :( It sounded so good, and then this...

If you have sampled Hazelnut as an additive to Vape Juice and found it disagreeable you've made a wise choice.

If you're making this decision never having tried a straight Hazelnut juice or one complimented by Hazelnut, I'd suggest you request or add sample size when placing your next MOV order.

If I had to pick one NET, my absolute Favorite Tobacco NET juice is the Vape Rite Naturally Flavored Rou's Natural Toasted Hazelnut Tobacco. I've re-ordered this more than any other retail NET Tobacco Juice, IMO it compliments Tobacco as well as Vanilla.

... I've tried both the net and synth version of the ry4... Loved the former, hated the later. To me, the synth version tasted like perfume. Also noticed the same for the 555...

I've only tried MOV NETs and the 555, Full Virginia, Apache and Southern Gentleman were the best. The MOV 555 was meh... Want 2Vape has the best 555, good on delivery and better after a week, Hangsen 3&5 and Smokeless Image 555 round out my three favorite 555's.

I don't like nuts or coconut period. The flavors, the actual items, or even their textures.

Not fond of lemon, either.

I'll be sure to try that one if it turns out that hazelnut works for me. Anybody able to describe hazelnut flavor in a vape compared to, say, peanut?

Uh....hazelnut tastes like hazelnut and peanut tastes like peanut. Hell, I don't know.

The hazelnut NET from Vape Rite was the best of the several I tried from there, but...kinda like the best looking sister from an ugly family. No second date happening.

No comparison, it's like comparing imitation crab to fresh King Crab. The Hazelnut in Vape Rite's juice is a Natural Hazelnut, slightly sweet, without bitterness or earthiness I get from Peanut.

I can't quantify any peanut to hazelnut comparison only hazelnut to no nut

What I will offer is that the hazelnut in Gambler surprised me and after about 1 ml+ in my 2.5 ml BCC Clearomizer, I had to go off to MOV's Southern Gentleman for palete cleansing and rest, as the Gambler kept throwing me out of my chair.

Commentors on Sourthern Gentleman say they discern 'nuttiness' but MOV's description does not

'Southern Gentleman™ starts off with a mix of Virginia, Latika, and Perique tobacco's that have been blended with an aromatic Amaretto that consists of Black Cavendish and Virginia Ribbon. We finish it off with a Tennessee Ribbon...
Unless the 'nut' is part of one/more of the tobaccos and I don't know this.

I find no reference to any 'nuts' in 2 others I have come to appreciate very much- N-E-T's Coventry and Black Cavendish

So much for me and 'nuts' ... hazel, pea or oak.
