I'm sorry but I'm going to post a very derailing question here real quick since you guys sound like experts. Does anyone own a vv nova? Do you know where I can just buy new wicks? I burnt a couple by accident and don't think I need to buy whole new heads and buying wicks would be cheaper but I can't find it anywhere online.

If you mean "Vivi Nova"... then you also need to state if you are talking about the original by Vision or the copy cat by Smoktech... they are not the same.

As far as wicks go... just get some silica wick of the size you want... they don't use special wicking. Look in the rebuilding supply area of any website that carries those types of supplies. You may want to also pick up some 28ga kanthal since you may mess up the current coil trying to thread the wick back through it.

as awesome as the kayfun is, ive been reaching for my 1.0ohm dualcoil trident on the magneto. Such an awesome vape. Even though thertes slightly less flavor with trident the vapor production is off the charts. i like how it hits like a freight train.

One problem i had with my KF was, I vaped through a whole tank of patriot then refilled and it fired while in my pocket with a brand new tank full. Well its screwed up the wick and now i have a full tank i need to empty, in order to fix the wick. Im just not much of a tank guy. LOL, anything over 2mls of liquid is too much of a commitment for me.

I was going to say that folks are building dual and even quad coils on the Kayfun, but since it's the tank part that's a bother, that's not going to help you much. :(

Jerms, once you've gone to the "dark side" there is no turning back. I have 2 Russian 91%, a 3.1 clone and a couple of others and they are the best vapes ever. You have done well Luke Skywalker.

Best vape ever... nope, I wouldn't go that far. It is however my holy grail for on-the-go vaping. I'll still stick to dripping at home 95% of the time.

Sooo anyone tried any tobacco vapes lately?

Nothing new.. though I do have about 10 new to me NETs on hand that I'll get to sometime. Plus Shipwrecked from Ahlusion on the way that will be new to me.

Gonna crack into some more HHV once I finish this last half a ml of boba's (don't judge it's good stuff). And I think I'm gonna try my hand at wicking some cotton since you can't by wicks alone and I burnt my stock ones. Which worries me cuz cotton is easier to burn. But I'm much better at vaping with a clearo now

Thanks! Yes, that's such a great juice, my favorite coffee NET by far.

Thanks fellas - just added JG blend to my ahlusion list (I'm sure it's better than the hangsen mocca i've been vaping with my coffeee :). Hey Jerms - can you link your review for me please? I really hope they have a sale for new years - I have Bluegrass Burley, Devil Dog, Gold Rising, Smooth Criminal, JG Blend, and Mango Lassi (obviously not a NET, but I love mango lassi) on my list to try.

Today I'm doing MOV's Apache on a single 1.2 ohm micro in a Pulse RDA. There's a lot going on with this juice. I'm getting the tobacco right up front but there's some kind of fruity background I can't put my finger on just yet.

That's the Perique you're picking up there boom. Little bit of fermented, fruity funk.

I just cold extracted some straight Perique from Pipes and Cigars. I got all the funk! Damn tasty!

Is that the Perique from their bulk section? May I ask how long you macerated it for and in what PG/VG ratio? I have a PG maceration going on for American Spirits Organics. I'll do the filtering etc on Jan 1st. It'll be about 36 days of maceration!

Perique was from the bulk blending section. I used 100% PG and soaked 24 days. Didn't seem like it changed a lot the last week so I went ahead and filtered it. Wrote about it here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/liquid-extraction-tobacco/508026-cold-maceration-tobacco.html

Your AS soak sounds interesting. Let us know how it turns out.
