Shoot, I don't even like BGB all that much, and yet despite that I think it's the best NET ever made.

Bill, have you bought a ticket to the kayfun bandwagon yet? They work surprisingly well with NETs. I've vaped a tankfull of both your AS and currently NS in it. The coil was gunky and needed a dry burn, but was able to get through the whole 4.5ml of tank tasting great the whole time. Which reminds me, I'm out of AS and NS so I may need to meet you in the alley soon lol.

I'll be trying your new juices soon, this week or next, maybe they'll be ones I want to buy some of instead.

I'm totally rewriting that stupid "Best Song Ever" song by One Direction.

"And we vaped all night,
With the best NET ever.
It was rich and deep,
Full of burley pleasure."

(For the record, I only know that song because of the excellent Alex & Sierra cover and from the Song For the Philippines charity album. One Direction makes me want to beat up young British people.)

BGB will make you get down on your knees and pray that Wlad lives forever.

Or, as some have, curse him as a charlatan. There's a guy in another thread who swears the aromatics are the most hideous taste known to man.

Me, I just hope he lives longer than I do!

I know that a few of you were interested in the Aqua, so here's my review. It's currently my favorite atomizer for NETs, bakery vapes, and certain dessert juices. Since it's easy to dual-coil, the heat potential is greater than that of a Kayfun (which is harder to dual-coil). It's brilliant for light-to-medium NETs, as the higher temperature makes it feel more like smoking tobacco. The relatively low capacity (effectively less than 2ml) actually works out for heavier NETs since you usually have to dry burn and/or torch after a tank anyway. I highly recommend the Aqua for NETizens. If you're on a budget, I've heard that the Hcigar clone works great too, but I can't vouch for it personally.

Theres two different aqua counterfeit clones on fasttech right now. I have an hcigar clone on groupbuy coming at end of month; and another one from FT coming hopefully right away even though i probably wont receive tthe FT one till end of month as well. Im excited for this style RTA cause ive been into dual coil setups lately.

NETcom and GeJ are pretty authentic, but BGB is more aggressive and authentic. Ahl does a different extraction method, using CO2, which results in a different experience than macerated NET.

For DIY fans, here's some CO2 extraction equipment for home :)

http://edenlabs.com/equipment/co2-units

I think these will be more suitable for home :)

Edit: Hmm, the last link is not for CO2 though.. Pretty expensive stuff just for distillation..

I gotta say, there's some things I really like about the Aqua. It looks awesome, I would want to pair it with an Origin. I like how the airflow control works and that there's a juice flow control. I also like how it's meant to be filled from the top, which is how I fill my Kayfun anyways. The thing stopping me is the dual coil, I would want one with just one airhole and made to work well with a single coil. Maybe one day I'll get into dual coils, but probably not anytime soon.

I guess that's why CO2 extractions aren't very common... that's some expensive equipment. Like, as much as a house expensive.

I think those would be a must for anyone who makes his own high-grade food flavorings for resale (which Ahlusion does). Remember that e-liquid isn't the whole A+ operation.

Applying that tech to tobacco, though, may be a Wlad exclusive.

Yeah, I'm sure Wlad had that type of equipment before even entering the vaping biz.

No. They're done in-house. I was just saying I don't think any other juice company uses CO2.

Oops, sorry I was replying to Jerms' comment:

I have a Rocket I haven't set up yet and a KayfunLite/Russian91 clone on the slow boat from China. In the past couple months, I picked up three used/blem REOs (a Mini and two Mini 2.1s), bringing my total of bottom-feeders to twelve---they're all outfitted with rebuildable atties, mostly various cheap RDAs converted to bottom-fed, so I'm pretty busy re-coiling and re-wicking those.

Which reminds me, I'm out of AS and NS so I may need to meet you in the alley soon lol. I'll be trying your new juices soon, this week or next, maybe they'll be ones I want to buy some of instead.

The last batch of pipe NETs are interesting and the Peter Stokkebye Turkish is mondo smooth, but it's very hard to beat AS and NS. I mixed up a 6ml bottle of each for myself at 18%, and the increased flavor whomp is impressive. I continue to appreciate the leaner (13%) mixes for their subtlety, but now I like both lean and fat. Whatever you order, I'll mix at 18%. I'm sure you'll be pleased.

I poured down the drain more than a liter of old, crappy juices (mostly retail, but some failed DIYs, too) over the past week, leaving me with "only" ten liters of juice left in my stash. I intend to weed out another 2-3 liters that were never winners and are now too old to even consider vaping. I have enough empty bottles at this point to open a retail storefront. LOL.

One of the last batch of tobaccos I extracted was Sultans Blend from Milan Tobacconists. It has easily become one of my favorite juices. Thank you Bill for finding this great blend from a wonderful vendor, and thank you Jerms for the excellent review of Bill's version.:D

You're welcome, Johni, but honestly, all I did was look through Milan's list of in-house bulk tobaccos available as one-ounce samplers and pick out six whose descriptions sounded good. Not quite like throwing darts at a board while blindfolded, since I knew I wanted two from each category---aromatic, non-aromatic, and English, but not what you'd call an expert or informed selection. I do feel like I got lucky with all my choices. Sunset Rum, Black Forest, Jefferson Street, and Sultan's Blend are all very tasty NETs, and I still have another two from that order yet to be extracted, Lucky 7 and Chartwell.

Selection of pipe blends to extract when you never smoked a pipe is a little challenging. Some that sound great on paper don't equate to good juice. Wish their descriptions and reviews were as good as many found in this thread! For instance, when Jerms reviews a juice, I can decide to order or pass on it with 90%+ accuracy; same with others but to a lesser degree. For my taste, a good extraction candidate needs to be described as at least medium to full flavored.

Let us know how those last two come out. Three that I can pass along that are good: Burley Delight from Sutliff (think Louisville light), and Perique blending tobacco, both from Pipes and Cigars, and French Vanilla from Milan (mild vanilla, great flavor).

I can vouch for the Blending Perique. It makes a strong extract cold or hot. I would start at 20% in a juice mix. FWIW I think the singular blending TB's work best for extraction. Flavored or processed TB's don't seem to make a decent extraction for me. I say this after a lot of experimenting with TB's like Cpt. Black, Borkum Riff, Sunday Morning, etc. Blending single types of TB extracts work well for me. I have a Toasted Burley, Cigar Wrap, Perique mixed with vanilla and a smidge of maple that I'm enjoying as I type this. It's not Vurley but I can taste tobacco over the vanilla which is a good thing.
