Hey guys without sounding whiney. I might be vaping on a budget soon and I feel like ahlusions is quite pricey. Is this because of their extracting process? How much superior is it? I might just stick to HHV. Good stuff and will be my go to vendor for a little while

They seemed pricey to me at first

but when you factor the free sample
(you can ask for free sample in suggestion box if you order over $20 liquid but you need to check the flav does not say not avail for sample)
and the 15 % coupon you get 3 weeks after order

and there larger sizes are good priced 30 ml $16 or $17 60 ml $27

and free shipping when you order over $50 pre discount

they really turn out to be not expensive

I'm a fan of both vendors. I can go without HHV for months and forget about the company's juices. I vape something from Ahlusion every day. Most of the HHV juices I enjoy are its dessert tobaccos. Ahlusion excels in several areas -- tobaccos, teas, desserts, beverages, etc. The price difference is slight, in my opinion.

30ml Bottles
HHV: $13
Ahlusion: $16

50ml - 60ml Bottles
HHV 50ml: $21
Ahlusion 60ml: $28

Keep in mind that you get a 15% off coupon after every Ahlusion order, so the price difference becomes even lower. You also get a a free 10ml sample with orders over $20.

Just so it's clear, I'm not knocking HHV at all. It's a great company that makes some great juices. Ahlusion is in a different league.

Obligatory y cherry y disclaimer: taste is subjective.

Just took a look at this after adding the 15%

30ml Bottles
HHV: $13
Ahlusion: $13.60

60ml Bottles
HHV: $21 50ml

Ahlusion: $23.80 60ml Bottles additional 10ml for $2 more

plus Ahlusion over $50 order free shipping

HHV always charges shipping

also Ahlusion gives free 10 ml sample when asked according to specification's

All thing considered seems ahlusion would be cheaper

well rpad pretty much summarized it perfectly.

at the risk of sounding like a fanboy, i would pay even more if i had to. Ahlusion is the ONLY company id be happy to pay premium prices for. That being said, i dont think their pricing is high or of a premium tier. The price is cheap considering the amount of labor that goes into a butane/co2 extraction.

Been hearing so much good stuff about HHV, and decided to finally try Legend, Huntsman, and Heavenly Army.
Although I ordered all NET's, I hear HHV juices burns cleaner than a lot of venders. Can someone tell me first hand if this is true?

Ahlusions is next on my list. I like an equal balance of tobacco and sweetness.

BTW... I talked to Nolan at MOV about the VF-RY4. He is very humble about the situation about it perhaps MIGHT contain diacetyl. They are handling the situation very professional, and said they will be testing each and every flavor they order from now on. This actually reinforces my confidence in MOV now. Since I ordered 3 bottles of RY4 6 weeks ago, he is replacing each one with someone of my choice. I chose 'Outlaw' and 'Belgian Briar'. Anyone got experience with these two?

For the record, my version of "Best Song Ever" called "Best NET Ever (A Tribute to Ahlusion Bluegrass Burley)" is based on the Alex & Sierra cover and not the wretched original by One Direction.

Taste is subjective. No one here is bothered by your love of One Direction.

The price is cheap considering the amount of labor that goes into a butane/co2 extraction. Especiallly when hes doing it on a per order basis and not in bulk.

I don't think the aros are individual extractions. The mix is, but I'm pretty sure the extracts are done in bulk.

HHV's NETs burn cleaner than [most] other vendors NETs. Depends on the NET, too. Generally, they are cleaner burning, but it also depends on your PG/VG ratio. 100% VG HHV will most likely gunk faster than 60/40.

hmmm okay, i guess i just assumed that based on...
a.) the level of customization that he allows
b.) no samples
c.)and the lead time on aros
but i guess that would still be the case with bulk extracts to some extent.

Ok gang as a vaping noob can you clear up a couple of things for me please? NET? Diacetyl? Huh? what am I missing? I am finding that I prefer the tobacco flavors over fruity juices so would really like to understand this a little better to vape the better juice. HHV is getting so many good reviews I guess I should make the hour drive to their B&M to try them out though
:) thanks in advance for the help understanding this that I know will follow lol

NET is Naturally Extracted Tobacco, which means the flavoring of the eliquid is not artificial like most eliquids. The flavoring comes from actually tobacco, and through filtering and extraction processes bring out different flavor profiles. HHV's Legend and Serendipity both comes from the same NET base, but through extraction "mistakes" have a different flavor profile (hence the name, serendipity).

Diacetyl is a flavoring most often used in buttery, creamy flavors and was originally used in buttered microwave popcorn; the factory workers became afflicted with "popcorn lung" from excessive exposure to the ingredient. Diacetyl is dangerous when inhaled, and was once used in elquid for creamy, buttery flavorings. Diacetyl subsititutes were then used once the risks were known, but the substitutes might still pose a threat, just not researched enough. Most eliquid vendors might use a substitute claiming to be "Diacetyl free" and it's up to the consumer to take the risk, if any, to enjoy the rich, creamy, buttery flavors. If concerened about the flavorings used, contact the specific vendor and ask. Many vendors state on the site since the Diacetyl scare was very real, and affected the whole community.

By all means, if you are within driving distance, head over to the HHV store and sample their liquids. I just placed a huge re-stock order with them, since I cannot live without my Heavenly ARMY or Huntsman.
