Have no fear FC at first to me seemed a little harsh but has toned down some and moving up on my fav list of GeJ's...but for me so far nothing beats Wrangler lite but still letting VB,GJ4 steep.

D62, did you first try the new Wrangler Lite, or the old one? Had both? They are different while being the same. The new one is very close to a cigarette, even though I use to say it was impossible.

I've only got 1 order from GeJ about 2 weeks ago so I would say I got the new one especially since u say very close to a cig because that is exactly what I get. This juice in my 3 yrs of vaping is the closest to the real thing:) I've tried.

Calling Tez, Tez, calling Tez....

Didn't you get Fire Cured? I am waiting...

Naw, but seriously, I am loving this juice as a straight-up tobacco. #1 hasn't been like it was early summer -- maybe it's again a seasonal thing -- but this Fire Cured is hitting a level of tobacco gruff and spice that is resonant and perfectly clear. The fire in Fire Cured is as perfect of a description as it could be -- this is fire, not ash, but straight fire!

Tez is present and accounted for! Yep, I tried a little on a dripping atty a few days ago, and so far so good. The only problem is that I've been buying juice like it's going out of style lately, so I've been sampling a lot. I'll sit down and spend some time with it before making a final assessment, but so far...

The last time I had one of those it gave me an answer that I didn't like, then it somehow broke.  Back in the days when I was young, I'm not a kid anymore, but some days I sit and wish I was a kid again.

Fire Cured is speaking to me in ways that W2V just can't. It hits all those notes that W2V does, but none of the cloudiness -- ya dig? At first, I thought it was decent, now I realize that Nick has scored BIG TIME with it.

p.s. Dude, you and I both have got way too much juice! I need to hold off on juice buying for at least another week. (that is a long time, no?)

I catch your drift. Sounds like I need to empty something out of something else stat and start paying that lonely bottle of Fire Cured a little attention!

Hahaha! I just opened my email and saw another 15% off review coupon from Ahlusion, so I'll be placing another order as soon as I see they're open again! You can just call me Pavlov's Dog from here on out!

I opened my Ahlusion Blue Grass Burley on Sunday and was extremely pleased with it. I've tried many tobacco flavors from many vendors, but this is easily the closest approximation in taste to the kind of cigarettes I used to like. I'd recommend to people that enjoyed cigs from Dunhill, Nat Sherman, etc. For those looking for something close to Marlboro and Camel, this might be too exotic (not sure if that's the right word, but I'll go with it for now).

One of the few things I miss about my smoking days was being able to shop at the gorgeous Nat Sherman flagship store on 5th Avenue right opposite the New York Public Library (and its famous guardian lions) Two stories of tobacco paradise. They would let me try out the cigarettes too. I used to smoke MCD Lights, Natural Lights, and Fantasias when I was feeling flashy. On penny-pinching weeks I'd go back to Merits but put them in the used Nat Sherman boxes. ;)

I was totally down with Nat Sherman, but now, I look at it as the better memories of a set of terrible memories. NSs were awesome in a world of awful -- but they still exist in that world! :(

Very true. But I can't help it...despite everything I still love tobacconist shops:)

Checked on Dad and NYC family to be sure they are ok. They are.

Glad your fam is safe, scarf-ace. I'm hunkering down here on the south shore of Long Island... Just me and my new buddy Gandalf (and the wife and kids) ;)

I've been chiefin on this 30pg/70vg, 18mg Gandalf for the past 48 hrs and it is truly buttery... A blissful balance of cherry/cocoa/tobacco (to my taste buds, at least). I also received a Gandalf sample from HHV, albeit mistakenly. It was supposed to be Dragons Fire in the sample pack (Adam fixed the booboo promptly). I worked on this sample bottle first, and let the 30/70 bottle steep. While I thoroughly enjoyed this 70/30, I felt that the overall flavor was a bit strong and I was having trouble finding the tobacco note. So, having spent some time with both versions...

Galdalf 70pg/30vg 12mg vs. Gandalf 30pg/70vg 18mg, which do I prefer? I'll take the slightly muted flavor and added vapor of the 30/70, with the 18mg providing the extra TH. The tobacco note, which is of utmost importance to me right now, shines through a little more in this formula... My :2c:

Quick nic Are Why Qu4tro

Very dark, smokey, tobacco, not a lot of sweet. I can taste the caramel and vanilla, but the tobacco is very much in the forefront. A little reminiscent of GJ4 in that respect, except GJ4 is just better. The rest of the QN I have aren't NETS, so that's all about them for this thread.

To recap, "Grandpa's Nightcap" and "Habana Daydream" both get a thumbs up. Good vapes both. "Are Why Qu4tro" I'm pretty neutral on, it's not bad, or ick or anything, it's a decent juice, I just have other RY4 types I'd pick over it. A little too "smokey" tasting for me. ymmv

Pretty much the same impressions I had. HD and Gramps were both very good. The rest were quality but just not my profile. BTW, as a reminder, QN announced two new NETS coming out. That was two weeks ago and I still don't see it in their lineup yet. One is a menthol that I don't care about. The other is in their acid line. They have a couple other NETS as well...a peach NET and a clove NET. Not in my range but others may care.

Funny, I searched so hard for a good menthol when I first started vaping to no avail. I bet Nick's are very good and might be just what I was looking for at the time. Unfortunately I no longer care about menthol in the slightest.

Maybe I am wrong, but once you leave menthol behind, it can't ever resonate with you again like it once did. I used to smoke menthols a loooong time ago, and then when I switched, a menthol was a NO-NO!

You know, I am being unfair when I curl my lip about QN's new menthol NET. I have never tried a menthol vape. They so disgusted me when I was smoking cigarettes that the thought of trying it as a vape has never entered my mind. I just cannot imagine. I'd like to hear from someone who was a regular tobacco cig smoker who tried a menthol vape. Now, they may still say it was horrible and it wouldn't surprise me in the least, but I cannot speak with any authority because I have not tried one myself. MMann? Anything here?

Devil Dog! from Ahlusion is pretty interesting. It's very strong and in-your-face. The tobacco flavor is true, but this definitely isn't an all-day vape for me. It has, by far, the biggest throat hit I've ever experienced in a 6mg juice. It's distinct and I'm glad I have a big bottle of it, but it's a bit too much for an everyday juice.
