I CONCUR!, subtle, maybe a small amount of peanut, and the rest tobacco. really not a caramel, chocolate person with my tobacco, i wanna drink beer with tobacco, not dessert.

I want to start a thread for those looking for real tobacco flavors rather than anything artificial/imitation. I'm not bashing any vendors that use artificial flavorings as some are very good. However, there's a few of us that still crave that quality tobacco taste (pipe, cigar, other non-cigarette tobaccos). I know there's a few of us more seasoned in the natural/organic/extracted areas, while others may be total newbies so all please chime in! Please post the vendor, liquid, what is resembles, and honest thoughts. Even if you're not a fan of one liquid someone else may be looking for that specific flavor. I call it objectional subjectivism: honesty without any ranting.

You've come to the right place. Somebody get this vaper some BGB, some Wrangler Light or Fire Cured. Those would cut through the spirits.

Hit me up tomorrow in PM and we can chat.

I am having a tough time getting a handle on The Plume Room's Smooth 'n Mild. Sometimes I love it and sometimes I don't. One hit, it is as advertised, smooth 'n mild, with a little chocolateyness (chocolatitude?). Very much like HHV baccos in richness and sweet character. The next hit it is a bone-dry, angular leafy tobacco like EPipeMods Longbottom Leaf.

I was out this afternoon and I was vaping this the whole time. I'd take a puff, put it down, say "no, I don't like that". Then five minutes later I'd sneak another puff, just to be sure. And I did like it  I vaped the entire clearo dry and experienced this mixed reaction the whole time.

I'm not certain, but I think this means it's going to be a classic.

Scarf, I wonder if the heat has something to do with it. The first couple of toots taste one way and follow-up toots a different way. Perhaps it's better as a cooler vape (or possibly a warmer vape). Might want to try playing with your wattage more than you usually do to see if this one has a small window. I'll get this with various vapes as well so I kind of know what you're saying.

Hey y'all. Been a few, Hurricane Sandy really handed out some licks!! But I'm happy to report that I received my GeJ's on Wed!

Vendor: Goodejuice
Flavors: GJ4, Vita Bella, Natural Perique, Organic Tobacco #1
Equipment: standard 510 dripping atomizer and drip tip, eGo-C Twist (between 3.7-4.2 volts)

Since they were shipped on Oct 26, I'll say they've been steeping for a week ;) I also took the caps off for 48hrs when I got them. I'm really impressed with these flavors after spending a few days with them. I'm only 17 days in to picking up vaping/quitting analogs, and the only other NET juices I have to compare them with are Heather's Heavenly Vapes. The GeJ flavors have a completely different personality, and it's taken a few days to adjust after a week of hanging out with Gandalf and friends. I would label HHV's Purity line NET's as generally rich and round, with a mid-forward sweetness. They taste like they came from a lab (that's not a knock though, I love 'em all). GeJ, on the other hand, have a very pure profile with an unforgiving vegetal (great word, Mann ;) ) quality at the forefront. These things are straight from the earth! I'm really diggin it. The tobacco is the feature presentation here... No doubt!

GJ4 is a beautifully balanced juice. Unbelievable, really. The caramel sits juuuust on top of the toasty tobacco, with the vanilla barely peeking out here and there. This was not the case 4 days ago when I first got them. The flavors had yet to influence each other and I could tell they needed some time to get to know one another. I can't imagine what this will taste like 2 weeks down the road. Ordering another two bottles today because I will not be able to not pick this back up! To quote one of our veterans here, this is RY4 the way God intended it. And I don't even know what the hell RY4 is! But if this is it, I'm sold! The immaculate concoction.

Vita Bella was a juice that I was very intrigued by because of all the mentions it received around here. It is a rare bird, for true. The mild earthy tobacco flavor is very prevalent here but it's the subtle flavors surrounding it that make it so enigmatic. You wanna say vanilla but you know that's not it. I think Mr Mann put it best way back when he said creamy almond milkiness. That really summed it up for me. It's creamy with an ever so slight, nutty-sweet undertone. A keeper for sure, can't wait to try it after another few weeks of steeping.

Natural Perique is exactly that. A very bright and clean Perique flavor. It's simultaneously spicy and sweet, and has a sort of toasted backdrop that is making it really hard to put down... Wow!

Organic Tobacco #1 is of the same ilk as the Perique. A singular flavor here - plain ol' organic domestic tobacco. The sweetness is there but in a more subtle way than the Perique. The spicy note is more upfront and has a woody, pine-like quality while the earthy undertone is dark and musty. Hard to put down as well.

One great thing about these juices is that they all play nice with each other. Nick from GeJ recommended that I mix Organic #1 with Perique to achieve a certain experience that I was seeking. I must say that if you enjoy both of these flavors individually, you'll likely enjoy them in a mixture as well. I mixed them at 50/50 and the results were fantastic. So good, in fact, that I decided to add a little GJ4 to the OG1 and PRQ just for fun... And... Wow! That really set it off! These juices are all so great on their own but I'll definitely be sprinkling in some mixtures on a daily basis.

p.s. Ahlusion order is in the house!! Gonna get to them in a bit, as I'm a little distracted by these GeJ's right now ;) :vapor:

Quite so Mr President. If I take two hits in a row, the second tastes different to the first. But two hits separated by a minute or more taste the same. Will have to fiddle with it some more.

Nick, those are great reviews! You have inspired me to play mad alchemist again with my Goodejuice flavors:evil: For me the pine in Organic #1 is becoming a little distracting so I look forward to mixing it up with some of the others.
Glad to see you survived the storm okay.

That happens with all my juices to one extent or another. But some are definitly more sensitive than others. Sounds like that's the case with yours. I know when that happens, I can desensitize it some by keeping it cooler. Never completly solves the problem but it does improve it. And the longer I vape, the more I prefer cooler vape. To me, it seems I get more flavor, not less (or it just doesn't change the flavor as much per your earlier experience).

Thank you scarf. I def recommend some experimenting since you are familiar with the flavors. The minute I got the juices I dripped 2 drops each of OG1 and PRQ together. Let's just say I was terrified!  I had been vaping HHV exclusively for the past week, so my taste buds have been conditioned to expect a specific profile. I took the next few days getting to know OG1 and PRQ on their own. Once I acquired the taste, the blend took on a whole new life!

hmmmm...the original? There was an original Gandalf, but the original Gandalf that was the original is not the original that is sold now. No, not the remix to the second original named Serendipity, but the original before the new original. Ya dig?

I'm confused  So, on my next order, can I request 4 different # of Gandalf just so I see what all the flavors are? I read on a post where you have to put notes in the comments box about which #Gandalf you really want....is that true?

By the way scarf, your Jiggy review is spot on. Interesting juice.

And pay attention to her addendum, if you like gummy bears, turn your volts WAY down.

I agree, Scarf and GT. My jiggy has had two weeks to steep now so I tried it again. The chemy/medicinal quality has subsided a bit, but the gummy bears are embedded, and there for the long haul! The floral notes definitely come to the forefront at higher voltage. I've found that I also get much less gummy bear by exhaling only through my nose. This is definitely the most finicky juice I've tried so far, but I'm starting to get some desirable results. Still, it'll never be an all dayer for me... It's just not that type of juice.

Hey Nick, I think I asked you before, but I don't know if I saw the response. Is that you with the "doghouse" in your avi? I play a fender 4 sting J and P bass (J-bass-2010 American Standard ; P:bass -1978). If that is you, how long ya' been playin' and how the HELL do you lug that thing around? LOL

Essentially, you can order the Gandalf as is (without notes), Serendipty as is (without notes) and Gandalf (with notes for #1). I have heard varying reports about the consistency of Gandalf without notes, so how it comes standard is better left told by someone who has purchased it recently.

 yeah, that's me Mann. Been playing for about fifteen years now. I actually have a great product called the Bass Buggie to get this thing around. When I lived in Brooklyn I used to roll that thing in and out of the subway almost every day!

I also have a 2000 Fender Jazz American Deluxe, which I absolutely love. I'm jealous of your 78 P-bass though ;) that's a great axe right there bro!!

Cheers!

I revisited GJ4 today after giving it the Eleanor treatment. It's pretty damn good, so I guess that means I sold GeJ short before I gave the juice a chance to hit it's peak. I have done been learned.

Wow, somone must've really lucked out on the gun jump?! :sneaky:  Seriously though, hit me up if you'd like to revisit the others )cause I do have a lot).

NFantastic,

Yeah, I love that '78 joint, but boy is it a heavy axe to swing. hahaha. "Swing?" Yeah, swing! :2cool:
