Here is a possibly foolish and not-intended-to-be-smart-alecky question:
Do Adam and Heather vape?
Because I would presume that a taste of the stuff in question, and at various points along the extraction and steeping process, would have solved these issues and differences.

Yes, they vape, but they are no different than any other person that vapes. All of this (I thought) was tongue-in-cheek (for the most part). There is no issue, just that at some point, early on, they tweaked their formula -- just as many vendors have done for a myriad of reasons. Luckily, with them, we are not obligated to getting it a certain way -- you can choose.

And Gandalf was introduced in July, so there was no prior to July.

From June 14th here. Though Luce and I were the first to review it, I was not part of some beta testing (don't know about luce). Luce posted about his first order on June 4th -- though it may have been close to the beginning of it being offered?

I have bottles of juice in my hands that do not fit those statements.

Those statements I made was just some information on how to get what. I will order Gandalf and ask for it the original way. After I get it, I will let anyone interested know how it turns out. Okay, I am moving on.

p.s. GT, I have been informed about that which you speak. That is something that I wasn't aware of. Adam could help waaaaay more than I can on that.

I guess their website is wrong then. It says Gandalf was added on July 1, 2012. That's obviously incorrect.

This just in: I sent Adam a text message and he called me back. We talked for approximately a half an hour and I have some news to report. There was no actual commitment to add Gandalf#1 to the menu, however (I am saying this on behalf of HHV): If you want Gandalf #1, just ask for it in your notes.

My thoughts: Gandalf is technically not the juice, but the extract. So, Gandalf as it currently is, will be mixed as it has been. If you want Gandalf the old way/original, they will mix the juice with the those proportions of extract to pg/vg. The default option for Gandalf is #2, but if you ask for #1, that is how you will get it. Got it? Spread the word.

Beautifully written. I'd like to see how she'd write it with Gandy #3 to compare it to. By Gandy #3, I mean the Cherrydalf (as it is commonly referred) that is currently served when Gandalf is ordered. Can it be safely said that Gandy #1 and Cherrydalf have nothing in common?

That's what I thought. And as I sift through all the history of Gandy, I'm guessing there were three total batches of Gandalf. Original, what became Serendipity, and Cherrydalf.

After talking to a lot of people now, it may well be that "cherrydalf" might actually be #4.

Imagine Serendipity without the heavy - and highly pronounced - chocolate flavor. IMO only, Gandalf 2's chocolate notes crescendoed everything else going on, but for an occasional hint here and there, and the simple act of putting the juice in a clearo and exposing it to heat made the chocolate even more pronounced.

I don't really care, I have plenty of HHV juice I like. It's just that I go around recommending their juice all over ECF, and I want to make sure I know what I'm recommending.
