Wow! There has really been a lot of excellent info on this thread lately! This happened to coincide with an epiphany of my own, relating to Goodejuice and steeping. Believing, for months now, that I was a born NET vaper, I have been desperately trying to wrap my head around the four 12ml bottles sitting in front of me now. Every time I've tried them before, I have shook my head in bewilderment and put them back into the 'not even close' shoebox. I totally 'got' HHVs juices and BGB and to an admittedly lesser degree Devil Dog, BUT THESE? PLEASE, not even close! Well, the sun came out early, for me, today! Truly amazing! Patriot, Vita Bella, Wrangler Light and Natural Perique ROCK!!! There are no born on dates on the bottles but I ordered on 9/9 and I seem to recall a rather long turn around SO I would say at 18mg Gej will be ready after two months and not before. Trust me on this. To quote Axolotly, it was 'wet dog' but now it's wonderful! I thought some prominent members had some 'splaining to do but I just might be ordering from WantTo vape next. :p

We've all tried your suggestions. Have you tried ours? That's what I thought.

You got what you came here looking for. A fight. Now shoo.
No, as I made absolutely clear from my first post in this thread, I was making a suggestion in direct response to this post:
His preferences are the less taste the better and he'd prefer the vapor not to have much aroma
And I said right off the bat that it wouldn't go over big with you guys, but those are the exact terms I would use to describe Dekang's cig flavors. "Less taste and not much aroma" should be written on the bottle, for crying' out loud. And I know what the guy means......smoke....nicotine...period.

That was all. It. Done. I'd be long gone but you all are the ones pushing it, like I'm some kind of dumbass for having a suggestion. I was absolutely on topic.

EVERYBODY STOP NOW!!!!

This thread is to support and encourage people on their journey to find a true tobacco flavor. Whether it is a review or simply discussion, there is no room for arguing or pointing fingers. I started this thread because the other natural tobacco users were extremely pretentious that thought themselves better than everyone else. We will not allow this thread to become that way. If it continues, no matter who said what, I will ask moderators to shut this down.

I want to start a thread for those looking for real tobacco flavors rather than anything artificial/imitation. I'm not bashing any vendors that use artificial flavorings as some are very good. However, there's a few of us that still crave that quality tobacco taste (pipe, cigar, other non-cigarette tobaccos). I know there's a few of us more seasoned in the natural/organic/extracted areas, while others may be total newbies so all please chime in! Please post the vendor, liquid, what is resembles, and honest thoughts. Even if you're not a fan of one liquid someone else may be looking for that specific flavor. I call it objectional subjectivism: honesty without any ranting.

Let's keep in mind this is what Luce meant for this thread... I am sure he wouldn't mind some friendly off-topic conversation, but calling people snobs, and then trolling the thread doesn't seem to be a very productive way to keep this thread alive and well. So let's all move on...

Edit: I took too long writing this... Luce already had spoken up

I'm pretty sure the regulars in the thread understand all that. I won't be looked down on because I prefer American NETS over Chinese juice. If that's "pretentious" then so be it. You guys have fun discussing the relative merits of Dekang.

edit: lemme fix this before I leave.

This morning I am really enjoying some W2V Tabak Especial with my coffee... The earthy flavor is working with some City+ roasted Costa Rican beans. I will be forced to clean the atty after this, but it is worth it :D

Hey Skinnie! That's quite a tsunami you left back there a few pages ago! :D Great notes, pal. I pop in once in over here a while, to search out thoughts on juices that I have in my sights. This is an indispensable thread, as are all of it's contributors!

Pairing vapes with morning coffee is such a great way to start the day! Keep those coming, we want a daily log!!

O love the idea of this thread but there are just soooo many pages it is hard to find info on the juices. It would be nice if someone put a list together of the NET juices and maybe a star rating or at least a description. I am just discovering all I like are tobaccos. I love the Plume Room and would like to find some others that I might like. I dont even know who else makes NET juices. i have read here Ahlusion and Want 2 vape but wanted to find some others too. Thanks.:)

Hey all :toast:

I have been tracking this thread for the last month, and have actually read every post, haha… Figured it was about time I contributed. I will keep this post to the point, NET reviews… But also figure that I can get to know, and joke with you guys in the coming days, posts, threads, future, etc.

Basically I am going to cut and paste from a Word doc that contains all of my NET and other tobacco related notes… But first a little background. All of the juices that I have tasted were steeped for at least 2 weeks or more prior to recording my subjective thoughts. They were all tasted on a 2.0 ohm atty at between 6-8 watts to try and experience a range of flavors. Also, if they are on this list, I liked them and would potentially buy more (i.e. the misfire orders are not included, but noted to self elsewhere)… I suck at the number rating thing. So here goes…

NET Juice Notes (including other tobacco flavor juices):

  • Strong sugary sweetness
  • Mild tobacco base

Virginia (Yellow)
  • Tangy fruit notes
  • Smooth mouth feel, with some tobacco dryness
  • Strong sugary sweetness
  • Mild tobacco base

Other tobacco flavors:

Applewood- Extracted base with flavors? (Amber to Brown)
  • Red apple flavor
  • Smoky and woody notes
  • Smooth mouth feel
  • Mild sugary sweetness
  • Mild tobacco base

Honey Flue Nut - Extracted base with flavors? (Yellow)
  • Strong honey flavor
  • Nutty notes
  • Woody notes
  • Smooth mouth feel
  • Sugary/honey sweetness
  • Mild tobacco base

Heather's Heavenly Vapes - Purity Series
Aromatic, Cavendish pipe tobaccos

Dark Horse (Yellow)

  • Mild tobacco base

Gandalf #2 (Amber)
  • Subtle vanilla flavor
  • Nutty notes
  • Cocoa notes
  • Medium Cherry flavor
  • Silky texture
  • Creamy sweetness
  • Mild tobacco base

Huntsman (Yellow to amber)
  • Mild cherry flavor
  • Cocoa notes
  • Dryer mouth feel, only lightly silky
  • More of a sugary sweetness, less creamy
  • Mild tobacco base

Oompa (Amber)
  • Milk chocolate flavor
  • Nutty notes (hazelnut?)
  • Silky texture
  • Creamy sweetness
  • Mild tobacco base

Pirates Booty (Amber)
  • Sweet vanilla flavor
  • Rum spice notes
  • Silky texture
  • Creamy sweetness
  • Mild tobacco base

Serendipity (Amber)
  • Subtle vanilla flavor
  • Nutty notes (Walnut?)
  • Cocoa notes
  • Subtle cherry flavor
  • Less silky texture than Gandalf #2
  • Creamy sweetness, but a bit more tobacco sugary than Gandalf #2

  • Aromatic coffee flavor
  • Cocoa notes
  • Dry but velvety, true tobacco mouth feel
  • Dark tobacco sweetness
  • Heavy tobacco taste

That’s all I got so far… I am still adding notes as I get to know these juices better, and of course this is totally subjective and based on the opinion of my tongue/nose … Especially considering that NETs are unlike standard juices, due to the fact that tobacco carries many subtle nuances and notes with it that you don’t find in other flavorings. Next on the list are GoodeJuice and Ahlusion, and anything else you guys throw out there that sounds good.

Huge thanks to everyone that has contributed to this thread… You were a big help in my quitting process, and I have now been clean for over a month and a half. I knew I would never be able to do it with desserts and sweets, but I quickly found out that most pseudo-tobacco flavors might actually be even worse. Some of the tobacco flavors are good, but not any of the ones that tried to be straight tobacco; at least that I have tried… Only the ones that were flavors on top of a tobacco flavored base were any good.

Peace,
SkinniePost

P.S. Hopefully I didn't totally mix up my reviews, because reformatting from Word to BBC is a PIA...

Sidenote: Here are a few other things I am interested in other than vaping… Architecture, micro-brewed beers (hops are my friend) and single malt scotch (especially coastal or islay), home roasted coffee, and the great outdoors. And most importantly kicking it with my 2 year old daughter who was my inspiration to quit smoking ;)

Addendum: For clarification... Flavor in my notes means that it was probably a flavoring added to the tobacco prior to extraction, i.e. a lot of cavendish pipe tobacco, and notes mean it tasted like it might have been a flavor that naturally occurred in the tobacco.

This post was recently made and could really get you started nicely. All of us are more than willing to help. Too bad you can't send a bulk PM out easily. There's really no consensus around here as to who makes the best or anything like that, but we can surely point you to where you might want to try. Tell us about your set-up.

Definitely try GoodEjuice... Along with the others you mention. I have not, but it is next on my list with Ahlusion, due to the rave reviews they both get on this thread.

By the way luce, go ahead and have the thread closed, one of us will start another.

I didn't even call you out and yet you call me out? I was just wanting the pointing fingers to stop. BenJammin was causing the issue and I just wanted us to take the high road. Let's call this issue over.

Special note on GeJ: when you go to the site, look in the "house-brewed" section. Also, with any of the vendors mentioned here (aside from Ahlusion, and even that has a caveat*) you have to read the descriptions to find out if the juice is an NET or an artifical tobacco -- when in doubt, you can ask here or send an email to the vendor.

*The caveat with Ahlsuion is that while all of their tobacco juices are extracted tobacco, their aromatic tobaccos are uncompromising tobaccos that are really not that approachable for most people. I love them, but I would not recommend them to anyone unless they were fiercely into tobacco. They have many tobacco juices that are very approachable and only 2 that I would hesitate to recommend (e.g. Devil Dog and, to a lesser degree, Blue Grass Burley.)
