I didn't even call you out and yet you call me out? I was just wanting the pointing fingers to stop. BenJammin was causing the issue and I just wanted us to take the high road. Let's call this issue over.

I didn't mean to call you out, I just don't think an excellent thread should be closed because of one troublemaker. It seems he got what he wanted. Trouble.

Thank you for clarifying. The last thing I want to do is ruin my favorite thread on here (because of all of you, not because I started it.) I've had tons of people tell me how grateful they are for all the contributions on this thread. It's usually people who never actually interact.

On another note, I recently got a tobacco in and it's obviously artificial. I made that repulsive taste after I tried it. Hopefully it'll change with steeping. It's been so long since I've had an artificial tobacco that I forgot how much I don't miss it.

It is admittedly a tricky thing when you actually study one thing and are presented with something that is clearly not meant for the discerning. I had recently bought a artificial tobacco juice, well, actually there was a sale at a site for a free bottle with any purchase. I bought a simple drip tip and got a free 10 mL of a juice that I once liked. It had been quite awhile since I had it and after getting it this time, it tasted liked a completely different juice. After upgrading, it is hard to go backwards.

Well.... technically, that's extracted. :(

The problem is that no one knows about the process, or where it really comes from. TA is also more of a concentrate which is different than an extract, though it is still an extract. God only knows who and where TA is being made.

Another note on Tobacco Absolute: I think people should think of TA much in the way that cinnamon candy or cinnamon vapes present themselves. When you smell and or taste cinnamon powder or bark, it smells differnt than the fiery concentrated cinnamaldehyde, which does come from cinnamon, but in no way shape or form is the totality of cinnamon. It is from cinnamon, but it ain't cinnamon. Concentrates are a mixed bag!

luce, I think when you say you're going to shut down the thread, it makes folks feel that this is YOUR thread and the rest of us are merely "visitors". I think this is where the rub lies. Spoken conversations don't have "owners" of the conversation. That said, I think we share your sentiments about the rude poster. I believe those of us who were a part of the response handled it pointedly with a bit of humor to keep it from getting completely away. This is a very productive thread and we can all agree it's worth preserving. The differing methods on how we achieve that are secondary.

Anyhow, I know you are also waiting for QNJ's Kuba Kuba entry that they announced awhile back. I have written them on their company-sponsored thread and have not heard back. I don't know why. On one hand, I feel like emailing the owner directly. On the other hand, I don't feel I should be "chasing" people around. I was never comfortable doing that. But, it would be nice to try that new juice. I'm not a tobacco expert by any stretch of the imagination and I would welcome anyone to tell me what I can expect from a "Kuba Kuba".

I posted on their vendor thread awhile back and emailed QNJ last week, didn't get a response. Maybe it's in eliquid limbo for awhile. That's a bummer. I've had one Kuba Kuba cigar before. Not nearly as herbal like W2V Blondie but should have additional flavors compared to W2V Cold Infusion. All come from the Acid cigar line in which smokers either love or hate them.

I'm sorry that I sounded selfish when threatening to shut it down. It really was just me trying to get everyone to get along. If I offended anyone please accept my apologies.

People apparently read statements like that and think things like "cork sniffers" and "pretentious". I can't drink instant coffee either, so I guess I'm a coffee snob too.
If the term "cork sniffer" is what's bugging you, then I am sorry for that. In general use, it's just slang for a connoisseur, you know. It was not meant to be especially inflammatory - maybe a light ribbing at most. It wasn't even directed at anyone in particular.

This is a great example. I think that one of the best ways we can differentiate is that TA is mass made from who knows what kind of tobacco. The vendors we usually discuss on here use their own personal extracts, which, in my opinion, tastes incredibly better than TA.

Well, I'd like to try it. I'm holding up an order so I can include the kuba Kuba in it. Maybe I'll rethink that strategy. Thanks for the review.

BJ, instead of grappling over what was said and done, perhaps you can reintroduce yourself by rewriting your initial post. A do-over can sometimes be useful. I speak for myself only when I say I am usually receptive to do-overs. But it's your call.

Nah, been over it half a dozen times. I couldn't figure out what the big deal was. Never thought about "cork sniffer" bothering anybody (some wear the term proudly)....apologized for that now...so that's about it.

My original point was that when you are a regular smoker, there is no real taste. What some people seem to be looking for coming right off cigarettes is just a general smoke taste that doesn't require any attention, from you or others, and a nice nic hit. Most of the finer juices are something else altogether. Dekang's many cigarette flavors go for "burning cancer stick" and that can really seem right when you've just come off analogs and are in a room full of smokers (in my experience). The post I was originally replying to was someone who's father seemed to be In just that spot.

You know, I've been lurking here for five months and reading this thread quite regularly. I just now got some VS Tampa and Texas samples out of the mailbox to try. I have some Mountain Vapor Turkish going right now....had SweetLeaf yesterday. I never meant to imply Dekang was the last word on e juice. More like it's a good first step. Taste more like a burning ciggy - not that that's the greatest taste or anything.

It's pretty rare that people "just coming off cigarettes" have any interest in this thread. When people ask our opinions we give them, and I'm not recommending something I consider inferior just because someone is "new". C'mon, you poked the bear and then were surprised when he tried to bite you.

I think when a cig smoker see's the thread name they interpret "Natural Tobacco" as real tobacco...or something like a "real" cigarette. It isn't until later they realize that NET vapes are closer to "real" tobacco than a cigarette is. A part of the learning curve.
