Luce, I appreciate the kind instinct of "if you haven't got anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" that stopped you from reviewing negatively. But if someone ordered Cigrawr without checking this thread first, how would they know how terrible it is? One could make an argument that it would be kinder for you to balance the positive reviews with a truthful one from a cigar conoisseur like you. After all, you judged the quality of this juice (positive) based on a review on the site. Perhaps other potential buyers should also benefit from your wisdom?

Just saying. Not trying to stir up argument.:)

After being out of the loop for a few days... Out of town and got my daughters cold... I just wanted to clarify my previous response :)

While I may not post a negative review about a flavor I personally don't like, I would definitely point out a manufacturing flaw like the recent VV debacle. I might even speak of a flavor I don't particularly like in a juice (with the understanding that the juice isn't bad, but I personally don't like "X" flavor), but that is different than saying it sucks and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone... If that makes sense?

For example, I can't vape the Mocha Java Smooth from HHV... It taste like buttered popcorn to me. I don't think the juice is bad, it just has a flavor I personally don't like. Lots of other people really like it, and I am sure there are other out there that would if they tried it. So I would feel bad if I posted that "MJS has a horrid taste of buttered popcorn, and taste nothing like coffee at all". People might read that and skip over it? And yes I did sort of just post a bad review, but it was only as an example, haha. Now if I said "I get the flavor of buttered popcorn, which I didn't personally like"... That is different to me, because it is not an absolute statement and it doesn't broadly make the juice out as sucking, it just suggest a flavor that I get, and you can decide if you like the flavor of buttered popcorn for yourself ;)

Here is a tobacco review that sort of follows this idea...

Backwoods Brew 555 Exotic... A very light tobacco base, with strong perfume-like flavors of nut extracts... Think of smelling a bottle of almond extract. The nut extract quality was a little overwhelming for my taste, and I would have liked a stronger ratio of tobacco to nut flavoring.

Now if you like the smell of almond extract, you might be like "this sounds great"... And if you don't, you now have information with which to base your decision not to buy the juice :)

Quickie unsteeped opinions of my newest W2V acquisitions. Both tested in XXXL clear dual-coil cartos because they are gentlest of all my available methods.

ALCAZAR. Site description: "This inexpensive maduro cigar was introduced in 1998 and features a medium body. It is named after the famous race horse of the same name. Donley spent a lot of time perfecting a new extraction technique for this juice, and the lessons learned show in the end product. If all you've vaped is some flavoring company's artificial cigar flavoring squirted into some base, you are going to be shocked when you try Alcazar. It's a cigar vape on a whole new level. want2vape Alcazar is currently the closest you are going to get to smoking a maduro in a vape juice. Rich and dark, the lingering finish of this juice will make you think you just smoked a cigar."

I was expecting a big hairy beast of a liquid but this is really quite approachable: I find it marginally stronger and richer than the same company's Red Pirate: same toasty cereal-ish sweet body with a slightly more robust aftertaste. Having had limited experience with cigars (smoking them myself, that is--dad used to enjoy Excaliburs and Romeo y Julietas and I would inhale that glorious second-hand smoke), I can't even say for sure if this is an accurate representation. It is sweeter than the very solemn and austere Bella Valente by Halo, for instance, which is one of the few enjoyable (for me) liquids made with the unmistakeable "Fuzzy" texture of tobacco absolute. It is dark in color and flavor. I dig it.

KUBA KUBA: Wow. This is one complex, interesting vape. The tobacco is quite pungent, and is overlaid with an almost camphoraceous herbal greenness. I am feeling some pine in this, but not harsh Pine-O-Kleen floor-cleaner pine, rather a freshly snowed pine forest complete with woody and earthy tones. It does not have the awesome crazy throat hit of, say, Devil Dog or BGB but it is similarly flavorful and potent. (I am privately referring to DD as "gender reassignment surgery in a bottle" Obviously a ladies' only joke.) Kuba2 doesn't appear to be on Want2Vape's website. Perhaps it is another Vulcan exclusive like Rygar. (Those of you who have forgotten, Rygar is probably my favorite RY4 in what our comrade billherbst calls the "custom" family.)

I am very keen to see how these age. Pleased as always with Vulcan's service and shipping and free "Vape-Friendly" decals, one of which is pasted above my desk. Next order I will buy the Vapensteins, perhaps with my refund money from VV. Heh;)

Great reviews... How would you compare Kuba Kuba to Cold Infusion Tea from W2V? Some of the flavor notes sound similar... Have you tried Cold Infusion?

P.S. Have you noticed they changed the images for Tabak, Blondie and Cold Infusion? They used to have pictured of the Acid labels, now they have generic cigar pictures... Wonder if they got in trouble? They are still selling it, so Drew Estates obviously didn't mind them using the cigars, but didn't want their name or logo associated with it, kinda crazy...

They actually now call it CI Cigar, not Cold Infusion... And they also call Tabak Especial just Tabak now too.

I think Alcazar must be the mildest maduro cigar ever made. Just wait until you try Managua. That'll put hair on your chest.

Managua is amazing. I started vaping it a year and a half ago, and while I don't visit it as often as I once did, it's still amazing. By itself, Managua is a little too much for me, so I Frankenjuice it 80/20 or 70/30 with w2v Créme Brûlèe.

I think that is an issue of, as Tez told me, like when Alien Vision started using the name C&D (cease and desist) for their Marlboro juice.

OK, I'm an electric bassist (for 43 years). Mr.Mann is a bassist. Now I notice that Nick is holding an acoustic double-bass.

What is this, Bass Player Central?

In my playing days way back when, I played in a Celtic band, also some ad hoc alternative groups, with a little folk and jazz thrown in for good measure. In those days---my 20s mostly---I admit to having an archetypal rock and roll bass fantasy. I wanted to stand with my bass in the middle of the Grand Canyon floor, with the cord reaching up a mile to the rim, which would be lined with HiWatt, Ampeg, and Marshall bass amps wired in series and standing shoulder-to-shoulder around the Canyon's entire circumferene. Then, when I hit that very first low E really hard, I wanted the lights to go out in Los Angeles as the Hoover Dam generators overloaded and shut down. LOL. Later on, my megalomaniacal power fantasies waned, and I became somewhat more interested in subtlety and taste---like Jack Casady's refined playing on the acoustic Hot Tuna album.

Hmmm. Might there be a connection between NETs and bass music?

I too am a bass player. Went from playing piano as a child (while learning music theory as well), to playing the trombone very well throughout school (parents burnt me out from pressure but I did learn the bass clef fluently and loved jazz/improvising), to teaching myself bass because the church I attended bought one and no one played. Haven't played with many bands because the music scene is always mediocre. I want to play at a Justin Chancellor (Tool) and Ryan Martinie (Mudvayne) level rather than dumb it for mainstream.

Skinnie I have not tried Cold Infusion. It is on my wish list of stuff to order direct from W2V when I am within shipping distance next year.

I, um, look forward to it

Dang! I had actually forgotten that I was supposed to go drop a stack over at W2V! Thanks for reminding me y'all

I think I'm just gonna go with the sampler: 2x Alcazar, Blondie, CI & Tabak, plus Rock Star and Red Pirate. Good? Good.

Good choices, Nick. Maybe Morley if you are looking for a truly authentic disgusting cigarette vape? Burning paper, ash, whole experience. It reminds you how nasty cigs can be. LOL.

If I could play like James Jamerson, well, I wouldn't be on this forum.

For those that have tried Wrangler Lite from GoodeJuice, I have confirmation from Nick that the cocoa in it is from a pre-infused tobacco. That is why it is so subtle and honest in the flavor. The tobacco has the cocoa prior to the extraction. So, in that case, it is not necessarily, if at all, a "hybrid." The former Wrangler Lite actually was a hybrid where the cocoa was added to the juice.

After I got out of college and had to get a grown up job to pay bills, I took a step back. Never got the setup I wanted (Warwick $$). Oh well, time moves on.

Completely different topic, My Vape Juice has just released their first NET called My Hero Tobacco (we'll call it the Mr. Mann! as he is a hero to us all). Mine shipped today with a sample of the vanilla version as well. I know this one is truly extracted and hopefully won't have black disease particles floating in it!

You may as well call it the Recycle Sign cause Mr.Mann got all of this interest in tobacco from this thread, started by whom? Hey Luce, so I am on the site, but how did you order yours? I am thinking of straight up, no shot, nothing funny, just their proprietary blend.
