Hey...turns out TE was exactly what I needed! Seems certain Chinese companies are getting stingy with it. I didn't even dilute it first, I just quickly dipped the end of a toothpick into the TE and then stirred the dipped end around in about 3ml of test juice. Nice Turkish exhale is back. It'll get me by until I get some of the good NET stuff to try...Thanks all!!:)

M&P are going to start selling some TE. The TE is what is in their RYO, RYO4, and Conspiracy. Those are TE juices, not house extracted.

If anyone ever wonders what the difference is, well, it's not merely semantics, though some of it is. For vendors like Ahlusion, W2V and GeJ, Vapreite, some I know about and trust, they spend a long time extracting their own tobaccos, sometimes up to a month, and I think there should be some distinction between those kind of approaches and the ones who, while they may be technically using a tobacco extract, are essentially using an off the shelf flavoring (though it is an extract.)

I will buy TA, TE or NET juices, but I will give a certain deference to those that are doing the in-house extracting.

p.s. I a glad you got what you are looking for, VM!

Got it ! Maybe I rushed in a little too quickly. I'll just let 'em sit another week or so and try again. Thanks Mr Mann.

I've burned me buds 4 60 yrs and can tell a definite diff w/nearly all NETs after lengthy steep
HHV NETs...2 or 3 weeks. YMMV.
ALSO howdy from yadkinville.

Busted out Ahlusion's Devil Dog! today to see how it has aged. The bottle was originally opened for steeping on October 23. It's much, much more mellow now (definitely still on the strong side though). Before I enjoyed it for brief periods because it was too in-your-face. After more than a month of steeping, I could see myself enjoying it for a few hours at a time now.

That "in your face" description makes me excited. Devil Dog is on the way, hoping to be here saturday. Will def have to drip a drop or two to try :)

EDIT: Also for steeping. I have seen in this thread mention leaving caps off for 24 to 48 hours. Is this a good general rule to follow for all juices or only at certain juice/times?

There are different opinions on this. Personally, I uncap all my juices for 48 hours and follow that up with at least 12 days of capped steeping. Ahlusion says that Devil Dog! doesn't require steeping, but in my experience time has mellowed it out so that it's more enjoyable to me.

Hmmm, I like the bold so good to hear it is ready to rock right away. I have several juices to rotate so I usually get to try juices after several different points as they age.

Just wanted to see if there are any types of juices to avoid steeping with caps off in case they could lessen flavor and such. I know in time the flavors will blend more and/or some come to the front.

Want it raw? Vape that bad boy fresh out the box, unless it's super cold. Personally, I don't think the juice changes as much as the palate gets used to it, but either which way, the best is when you don't know what to expect. That is not to say it looses its appeal, cause it doesn't.

Quickie unsteeped opinions of my newest W2V acquisitions. Both tested in XXXL clear dual-coil cartos because they are gentlest of all my available methods.

ALCAZAR. Site description: "This inexpensive maduro cigar was introduced in 1998 and features a medium body. It is named after the famous race horse of the same name. Donley spent a lot of time perfecting a new extraction technique for this juice, and the lessons learned show in the end product. If all you've vaped is some flavoring company's artificial cigar flavoring squirted into some base, you are going to be shocked when you try Alcazar. It's a cigar vape on a whole new level. want2vape Alcazar is currently the closest you are going to get to smoking a maduro in a vape juice. Rich and dark, the lingering finish of this juice will make you think you just smoked a cigar."

I was expecting a big hairy beast of a liquid but this is really quite approachable: I find it marginally stronger and richer than the same company's Red Pirate: same toasty cereal-ish sweet body with a slightly more robust aftertaste. Having had limited experience with cigars (smoking them myself, that is--dad used to enjoy Excaliburs and Romeo y Julietas and I would inhale that glorious second-hand smoke), I can't even say for sure if this is an accurate representation. It is sweeter than the very solemn and austere Bella Valente by Halo, for instance, which is one of the few enjoyable (for me) liquids made with the unmistakeable "Fuzzy" texture of tobacco absolute. It is dark in color and flavor. I dig it.

KUBA KUBA: Wow. This is one complex, interesting vape. The tobacco is quite pungent, and is overlaid with an almost camphoraceous herbal greenness. I am feeling some pine in this, but not harsh Pine-O-Kleen floor-cleaner pine, rather a freshly snowed pine forest complete with woody and earthy tones. It does not have the awesome crazy throat hit of, say, Devil Dog or BGB but it is similarly flavorful and potent. (I am privately referring to DD as "gender reassignment surgery in a bottle" Obviously a ladies' only joke.) Kuba2 doesn't appear to be on Want2Vape's website. Perhaps it is another Vulcan exclusive like Rygar. (Those of you who have forgotten, Rygar is probably my favorite RY4 in what our comrade billherbst calls the "custom" family.)

I am very keen to see how these age. Pleased as always with Vulcan's service and shipping and free "Vape-Friendly" decals, one of which is pasted above my desk. Next order I will buy the Vapensteins, perhaps with my refund money from VV. Heh;)

VV has all of them except Stockholm in 12ml bottles, I want to try them in this order of preference: London, Paris, Louisville and Managua. I am on a bit of an E-liquid budget for the rest of the year. Will keep you posted.

Have you tried any of your newest juice yet?

I am guessing like many others, that is one thing I wish I can change, the palate getting used to juices. The other day I posted about Fire Cured. The first half milliliter was so good, mouth watering, but then I started to adjust and could taste more of the underlying tobacco (I taste a sweet/sour tobacco leaf, which I really like) but the "fire part" just wasn't as prominent.
