I've read on this forum, maybe it was even in this thread, people using the descriptive term funky to describe a tobacco flavor. That makes me think of a heavy, dark, deep, bitter scent like skunk or an old sock or an unwashed hippy
It's a word that clicked with me when I would vape GeJ Natural Perique. Not in a bad way tho, I really liked the funk that Perique brought to the table.
I rotate atties, having a 510, 901, and 306 that gets switched every few days. Every atty I use seems to have it's own quirks, muting certain flavors and bringing out others. That funkyness of NP only really came out on a couple atties. Today I loaded up some Ramagalia's Toscano Gold from TPR on a different atty then I've been using the last few days to get to know Andrea's tobaccos. That was one flavor that I was very indifferent to at first. Not bad, not terribly exciting either. But on this 901 atty there it is.. funky! RTG from TPR is bringing the funk in a good way for me today.
