Hey Mr Mann, some monkey around these parts :) was enquiring about Moondrop. You have tried them, right? Am I correct in recalling that you said they were mostly TA juices, or has the heat melted my brain?

scarfy,

Moondrop is definitely TA. I can't say with absolute certainty that there's no NET in Moondrop tobaccos, but I sure can't taste any. Entirely TA as far as my palate is concerned. Personally, I don't find TA dreadful, but it is what it is, and it's not what it's not...

I just ordered from Velvetcloudvapor. I got Blue Beard Tobacco and Burley Beard Tobacco. Use coupon code Velvet Cloud Vapor - Discount Coupon, or just use "friends" as the coupon code. I'll check back when I get it.

p.s. Scarf, billherbst just said it all.

Just checked out the site. I'm seriously interested in vendor now. I hope the juices have the right stuff. The White Beard sounds awesome, tobacco with butterscotch and custard and "other old-time favorites" lol. Creative website. I see if you sign up for the newsletter you get $5 to use for juice. I hope being 100% vg it has some throat hit

Mewlew'a Magic.. blend of chocolate, cream, doughnuts, butterscotch, and fudge. I got diabetes just reading that. We're dealing either with insanity, or genious. Possibly both.

there is probably a thousand better people for this, but, here goes;

VENDOR : CravinVapes.com
SELECTION : Maple Spirit Tobacco @ 70/30 VG/PG w/ 12mg nicotine
EQUIPMENT : Joyetech Twist w/ Kanger T3
DESCRIPTION : "Pancake house quality maple syrup with unmatched organic tobacco extracts."
THOUGHTS : This juice has two elements; True Maple Flavor, not syrup sweet but real maple, and a smooth Kentucky blend extract. I've been testing this juice at various settings and it seems to preform best at 6- 7 Watts. At that point the Kentucky blend is incredibly smooth while the maple provides a rich counterbalance. In side-by-side comparison with Gandolf and Pirates Booty, MST provides as much Vapor Production and the same amount of Flavor as the mentioned HHV juices. The liquid itself is clear and clean, even after two weeks the whiskey-brown color is clear enough to see through. Incredibly smooth and quite flavorful, this will be a mainstay in my rotation. If you are looking for a stout, strong in-your-face tobacco flavor, this is not it. However, if you enjoy smooth yet rich flavored tobacco vapes, I recommend you give this one a try.
I heartily welcome any opinions by more experienced NET Hunters on this one.

Great review PB. Glad it's a winner, I have the Blue organic one on my list for them, gonna add this one too. "True" maple sold it for me. The different between real maple syrup and the cornsyrup wannabe's like Log Cabin and Mrs. Butterworth are like, well, kind of like the different between NETs and lab made tobaccos. Actually, thinking about it now there are a ton of similarities between comparing the two. I think I just blew my mind a little.

Thanks!

I too have some VCV en route. Burley Beard, White Beard, Mewlew's Magic, Night Shift, and a few others I forget. My mule who is mailing them to me taste-tested them and they were, in his words, "not bad at all" :)

Paw, this is a great review, and makes me even more keen to try this. I love me some maple.

Thanks, you're too kind. I was trying not to sound like a fanboi, and be as objective as I could. But I have been all-day vaping this juice for the last day and-a-half, even though I've got other flavors with me at all times ! Good Stuff !

Ive always preferred the tobacco flavored juices like AVEs Flue Cured and VR Kentucky but stumbled onto this thread and figured NETs were really what i wanted. Well I ordered GeJ Acadian, Gold and Gej Fire-Cured, Ahl BlueGrass Burley, Ahl Honey Cured, HHV Heavenly Army, and HHV Legend all in 30ml. So far the two GeJ were the first to arrive and all i can say is i really hope the Ahl's and HHV's arent like this. I taste tobacco particulate burning/carbonizing on the coil no matter where i adjust the voltage. Im smoking out of a bulldog with really really nicely built coils so im not sure whats wrong or how steeping will fix this. When i dry burn the wick theres a lot of ash on the coil, even after just a ml of juice. The VR doesnt do this at all.. Thoughts? I understand that NETs are supposed to be harder on atomizers, but this isnt happening over time, its right away.

I'm pretty new to rebuildables, but on my disposable atties as long as I keep them wet the GeJ NETs seem to build up about the same as other juices, pretty slowly. The Ahlusion aros a little quicker. I only had a sampler of HHV but they seemed really clean. I hope you get them working ok for you but if not I'll gladly buy every one of those if you throw them in the classies.

i should also mention that the fire cured was so harsh and unsmokeable due to the carbonizing thing, coupled with the overpowering chimney flavor, so all my experience has been with the Acadian.

I have a bottle of Fire Cured. I'll run some through my Fatty clone and get back to you. I use kanthal with silica wick, is that similar to you?

(I'm really just happy to vape some Fire Cured before it's graduated from the steeping box, I really liked that juice.)

I really don't know what could be the issue, but when you add the juice to the atty, are you giving it enough time to soak in before firing? Generally, if not most of the time, RBAs are much better suited for NETs, at least the substantial NETs, opposed to standard attys. See if you can find ECFer dspin and he should be able to help since he is a powerhouse with RBAs and genesis types, plus he vapes a hefty amoount of natural tobacco.

You'll find the HHV NETs much easier on your equipment, but they aren't going to taste as much like tobacco either. If you want in your face tobacco, you just have to learn how to cope with it.

So far the Fire Cured is vaping pretty cleanly. I'll keep at it until there's some build up (for ummm science, yeah thats it :) ) What you were tasting as burning particulates and the chimney flavor might just be the flavor. This juice is NOT for everybody, and I can see most, except the most enthused tobacco vaper, to be overwhelmed by it. This juice is very strong, and like the aros from Ahlusion, I get not just the taste of tobacco, but the sensation of burning tobacco. Keep at it, you may grow to like it. Blue Grass Burley grabbed me by the short hairs when I first tried it but seemed mellower as I adapted. You definately need to be in the right mood to enjoy some of these. If you can't get into it you won't like Blue Grass Burley, but like GT said, the HHV will be a totally different experience.

I don't know what other factors could be in play, but to be specific, I'm using a new coil I made last night. It's a small wick, only about an inch long, and is just a singe strand, not doubled over or anything. The coil wraps are very close together.
