Evidently, one company owns all the rights to Perique and it is only grown in a small section of Louisiana. Very labor intensive curing and aging process.

That sounds oddly familiar, but I am almost positive that my previous post is correct -- both can be right, though. Anywho, thanks for the reminder.

I think it's like Cognac. Anybody can make brandy and sell it, but you can't legally call it Cognac unless that's actually where you're making it. I know I have seen "Perique-style" tobaccos for sale online, that have been pressed and fermented and aged in the manner of Perique but are not actual Perique.

Thank you. I've been lurking for a couple of months now and read this entire thread! Some of it two or three times. Your advice and comments have been invaluable in my quest for good tobacco vaping. I think I'm liking NETs way more than I liked smokes. Tried a couple decent lab blends just so I knew what they were about.

That one and the cherry will be ordered soon. The only new aro I have now is the Vurley. I love what they are doing with that line, keeping the tobacco at the front. I love looking for a hint of vanilla, not so much trying to find the hint of tobacco.

When I was in the USMC, YEARS ago, I briefly smoked pipe tobacco. I remember liking it way better for taste than any cigarette I have ever had. Yeah the NETs are like that for me too.

Yep, you need to holler at me through some back channels, too!

First time uploading a photo on my phone. If it worked, that's my coil after a few hours of vaping Fire Cured at 8 watts. Wick is getting dark but no build up on the coil. I kept the coil really wet the whole time, not sure how much that helped. I hope it ends up working for ya, I was in vape heaven. After an hour the sweetness really started coming through, which I never get from BGB.

I received a bottle of Goodejuice Natural Perique this week. I love dripping it on an HH.357 atomizer.

Man, it's good.

Most of the tobacco flavors I vaped have been mediocre. Some have been ghastly. The Perique is a winner!

It's smooth, sweet and has a pleasant aroma. Good job GeJ.

Awesome! If you keep it around for a bit it goes through some pretty interesting changes.

damn that's a clean coil... mine turn black almost immediately. Guess ill try to wrapping a closely wound one.

The one that came in it had wider spaced coils, and it seemed like in the spaces is where it was gunking up. Keeping them close seems to make a big difference so far.

I must recommend that anyone that is a NET vaper try using a dripping RBA such as the phoenix which actually holds 10-15 drops with a SS Mesh wick. It is a great setup. Anything with any sort of fabric wick seems to gunk up quick and cannot be properly dry burned without effecting the wick. This has been a dream setup for me as I like to switch between nets throughout the day but can also put enough juice in to sustain me for more than five minutes. The taste from ss is very clean and I love the vapor production from these attys. Extremely easy to clean and this setup will last you forever until your next build. Not to mention these are very forgiving attys if you are new to RBA's!!

Great to see some new faces around here. This is an invaluable thread filled with wonderful people who are very well educated in the realm of NETs.

I am so painfully old-school when it comes to delivery systems. I am happy with my ugly unglamourous DCCs and carto tanks. They work well for most NETs. I am expecting a delivery of the Resurrector cartomizers soon... I'm told they are just as good as my clear DCCs but more attractive and (since they are metal) obviously without the cracking issues.

RBAs frighten me because I have extremely poor coordination on top of bad eyesight. Building coils would be a nightmare for me.

Nothing wrong with sticking with something that's working for ya. Did you ever get into disposable atties at all? As much as I'm enjoying the RBA, I still don't feel like giving up my trusty 510, 306, and 901s. Boge cartos on the go. I tried a DCC without much luck, but I will try it again with my VAMO. My ego didn't seem to want to push enough power into it.

You'd be surprised scarf! It's really not too bad! I should send you one that is built with extra pre wrapped wicks so all you would have to do is screw them in, in exchange for some of those tasty flavors of yours I keep hearing about, lol. Honestly though its not too difficult with the phoenix. The genesis style tanks are a little more tricky but I was successful with little practice!

I'm vaping Fire Cured from GeJ right now. A little over a month steeped and for the first time it's actually ok. GeJ has been in the mild side for me for the most part!
