Thanks for crashin', D! Glad to see you're loading up the pipes with the right stuff! ;) ePipes and NET's are a match made in heaven.

If you want to go less-sweet (HHV is as sweet as NET's get, so you don't have a choice :D) and try your hand at some nice tobacco funk, listen to Bronze. Goodejuice's House Brewed line. They are some of the most well-crafted NET's on the market, and the few flavored options are very good as well. GJ4 if you like caramel. Vita Bella if you like vanilla (and don't mind waiting a few months for it to make itself known).

The new MOV Gold Label line has also seen a fair amount of love since it's inception. They would all be worth a shot, save possibly Southern Gentleman and Apache. There is a good amount sweetness to them, and they have a certain smoothness reminiscent of HHV. What sets them apart from HHV, in my opinion, is the tobacco is a little more at the fore. They are a tad more complex and in your face, yet still very approachable for the newcomer. A possible good starting point, and great prices on 3-packs of 15ml bottles.

MyVapeJuice does mostly single leaf extractions, and has flavored variations of each extraction. They are relatively on the mild side as well, but surely worth a look depending on your flavor-shaper preferences. The new Banging Butterscotch version of Wicked Wench might be up your alley since you like butter rum? Again, great prices. And 10% off through Sunday with code: FLASH

I could probably go on forever. I'll stop for now, lest the accusations of cronyism and idol worship start to fly again.
Try Ahlusion's new flavored aromatics!
 Mornin', nomo. View attachment 193307

I actually like southern gentleman, perhaps I'm the only one, but am not getting Apache just yet. Perhaps after some more steepage...

I second MOV as well though, and highly recommend their Sunday Morning for a more cream than coffee flavored tobacco, and if you at all like RY4s, full Virginia flake, after several weeks of steeping became a very prominent tobacco flavor with some caramel and vanilla tones.

MVJ is decent to my palate, but not exceptional, and I haven't yet tried GeJ so can't comment on those. Much like Bronze though, I can say that QuickNic Juice has a line I am thoroughly enjoying.

Happy hunting big D!

I think I'll order in a sampler pack from MyVapeJuice and a few from Goodejuice to get started..

I'll look at Ahlusion too.

Thanks for the recommendations folks!

Dust, I'll just say a few of the more popular GeJ flaves are Vita Bella (really benefits from a good, long steep), Natural Perique, and Patriot. Not sure how these fit your profile but these are the more popular ones (but don't discount the others...they have strong followings too).

Those are the three I have in my basket right now.. good choices, General!

I'm toying between 12 and 30ml.. hmm!

Recommendations along the same lines for MVJ?

Dusty, if you like HHV you may want to try Pendragon from MOV. If you've never smoked latakia/oriental tobaccos then you may want to look for the aromatic pipe tobacco extracts rather than the English ones. Quick nic Fired in Georgia may be a good one too. Goodejuice Patriot is another one to try.

Re: MVJ, I've only had Rogue, Savage and My Hero. Rogue and Savage come across very similar - they are extracted from similar tobacco and both have a nice toasted thing going on. Rogue is supposedly stronger than Savage, but I don't quite get that. My Hero comes across as a cigar - with some nice spice to it from the CT broad-leaf, which is used as a wrapper for many cigars. Country Squire is similar to, but (supposedly) stronger, than My Hero. Wicked Wench will be more complex given the blend of extracts used.

From there, it's up to you to decide if you want to get some flavored versions, then see what appeals to you. I like the fact that they picked unique flavors to add to each blend. Lots of options.

That's the problem.. Too many options at MVJ.. What's closest to pipe tobaccos?

I'd say my hero vanilla, my hero black and blue, rogue touch of spice, and/or savage cocoa blend as a flavored pipe tobacco profile, from my experience and palate. Rogue, savage, and my hero originals to me, are more cigar or natural RYO cigarette like flavors, but the flavors added in the ones I mentioned remind me more of when I used to smoke flavored pipe tobaccos. IMHO.

Good morning NET'ers. I thought it may be prudent to introduce myself if I am going to crash your thread, so here goes..

I've been on the hunt for a nice sweet (not too much) complex pipe tobacco that I can use with my e-pipes. I'm big on rich and complex flavours and Tasty Vapor's Geoffs Blend used to be my ADV for well over 2.5 years until they had to stop making it. One of the reason Geoffs Blend was my ADV was because it was a blend of some of TV's already premixed juices. Banana Nut Bread, Atomic Cinnacide and Butter Rum were a few of the components that went into it's make up. Depending of votage vaped at, certain nuances were highlighted while others took a back seat. Vaped cool it was a rich Banana butter rum flavour, vaped hotter the cinnamon and rum high notes came through. It made for a mouth watering concoction that I never tired off in the whole time I used it as an ADV.

I've currently settled on HHV's Dragon's Fire as a favorite for my pipe tobacco. I've tried a couple other of their NET's and while I do like some of the others, DF seems to hit a lot of good points for me. That being said, HHV are the ONLY NET's I've tried. :)

Price of juice, and shipping to Canada are big determining factors for me too. I really don't care about packaging etc as I'm more used to buying 10 and 20 oz of juice at a time.

As for juice strengths, I'm a 70/30 12mg vaper.

I'll leave the rest up to y'all to recommend how or who I should proceed with next..

Glad to see you crashing this thread. When you say slightly sweet, complex and rich pipe tobacco, you're hitting on what's been my category I've been loving lately. Like others have mentioned, GeJ is almost the de facto suggestion for people new to NETs or looking to expand. There's a reason for that. Like Bronze mentioned, they hold the odd destinction of almost universal appeal here.

Based on your descriptions, MOV really stood out to me. They are more divisive than GeJ, but worth a shot. Like other great NET vendors, some absolutely love them, and some try them and wonder what the big deal is. To me they are the best slightly sweet, complex and rich, pipe tobaccos I've had. Pendragond and Sunday Morning were my standouts, and are similar to HHV to my pallet but a little stronger on the tobacco. That's a comment some agree with and some don't, but of course tastes differ. You may like their Virginia Flake RY4 too, it has a rich, buttery caramel flavor to it.

MOV being added to the list too.. That's all for now. 3 vendors, 9 juices being ordered.

Thanks for the help and the recommendations.

I'll stay on this thread and continue to glean info from you guys as needed. :D

Nice! As a veteran HHV vaper, I'm sure you know most NETs may need a little steep time to blossom. GeJ from a week to even several weeks depending on person. MVJ I've only had a couple, but they really needed at least a week and then become more rich and deep with age. MOV should be good within a week, though the RY4 is still too caramel heavy for me and like CT said should settle down in a couple weeks. For the MOV, crank up the watts to get the tobacco stronger and lower them to feel the other flavor notes more.

Hope you get a chance to report back here your thoughts on them. I love reading the short reviews and people's experience with the flavors as we seem to notice different things in juices.
