TA= tobacco Absolute. It is a very concentrated resinous form of tobacco extract, normally used to give a woodsy/chypre note to fine fragrances. In e-liquid, it gives an ashy, green, "fuzzy" flavor to the juice when used sparingly. Many people do not use it sparingly enough, and it winds up tasting like a plank of wood. Generally on this thread, TA juices are not considered NETs.

Don't be sorry:)

Plank of wood? Like that one Scarfy.

Well, it DOES. Woodsy or perfumey.
:oops::glare::p:)

There are a few people (you included) who come up with these pinpoint adjectives to describe a flavor. I always struggle with that. :)

I'm vaping some of that TPR, Candied Cavendish you sent. Been working on it for a long time and can't quite decide. I kind of like it. There is a crackerjack quality to it that is appealing...maybe even a peanut brittle or toffee bend. I could tell from the beginning this one would be an acquired taste and so far my patience is proving it out.

How would you describe it and do you still vape it?

I do still vape it often. I get a light-to medium tobacco with a rich realistic banana that might indeed be caramelized or toffee-like. The thing that has always come to mind when I vape it...those awesomely sticky honey-covered banana fritters that you get for dessert in Chinese restaurants. It hits a lot of buttons simultaneously...tobacco, fruit, and dessert. That's one reason I like it a lot, because it always seems appropriate. It also makes really nice silky vapor (the infamous "banana fog").

Bill was on the fence about it too as I recall, and then came around to love it. Bill, do you still vape Candied Cav?

I am definitely getting the caramelized note but can detect banana too. There seems to be a slight nutty undertone like you find in brittle or toffee. This might be a good vape in shorter bursts. Worthy of keeping a clearo of it in my rack and picking up a few times a week for an hour. That seems to be where it is headed. Certainly worthy of a revisit.

Is there a non-menthol GeJ NET that uses the same tobacco base as their NET Menthol?

I asked about this in the GoodeJuice forum but still no response, maybe because it was in a older thread called Joye eRoll! where I read:
Nice, you went with the NET Menthol. Good choice. The tobacco base is made with a premium American Toasted Burley blend, offering subtle notes of honey, molasses, and a nice tanginess to the finish. Very similar to a Premium Lucky Strike or Chesterfield-type cigarette.

This is a good question and I don't know the answer. If Nick ever told me, I must've forgotten. My personal advice would be to call and ask for Nick--I have heard that sometimes others can answer and not know what they're talking about.

Yes, quite happily. CC doesn't quite make in my Top Ten, but it has a well-deserved place in my daily rotation of juices that are dedicated to their own PVs---loaded up and ready to go---and make up virtual forests on my desk and bedside. Like two small flower gardens of PVs. LOL.

LOL!!! Yes, Candied Cavendish might make it to a dedicated clearo for me too. A little early to tell but it isn't a bad juice.

Anyone have a recommendations for a mild tobacco. Or tobacco with hints of honey and nuts. Its got to be fairly mild though i dont want an overpowering tobacco flavor.

Have you ever tried Heather's Heavenly Vapes? I'm thinking their Dragon's Fire might be just the type of flavor that you're looking for.

Well i am not new to vaping i am new to the ecf and only recently have i tried tobacco flavors, i figured what the hello is the point if i can vape strawberry and watermelon ... would i want to go put a nasty tobacco flavor in my pipe Lol. Well i gave it a try and ordered old west from diy flavorshack and. Big mistake lol it was the worst tobacco flavor that i have ever tasted! it was like some kind of old half rotten tobacco that my poor old grandpa would smoke out his pipe back in the pioneer days. After that i went a year without even touching a tobacco flavor jug even to smell it. But after coming on to this site i read a lot of review of ry4 and bobas bounty so after much consideration i decided to give ry4 a try. My local b&m has it in stock from diy flavorshac. To my suprize it was quite goo Better flavor and after taste than any cigarette i ever smoked and taste Verry similar to a certain cigar i used to smoke only better. I was sold and it is my go to vape at home now when i am board of all the candy and berry flavors i have. Now if a cheap vendor like diy flavorshack has ry4 that can taste this good i can only imagine what a good top noch vendor has! I think i am going to give in and order 30 ml or more of bobas bounty.

Sorry for missing this--I am being rather rambunctious and playful these days. Yes, I agree with Voltron. Try Dragon's Fire and if it doesn't quite fit the bill for what you were looking for, you may find it is something you couldn't have possibly imagined you were looking for.

Good call, V.

I'll have to throw that one into the rotation soon. That one and Huntsman are waiting in the steep box for their chance to take the field, along with Jiggy who's saying "don't forget about meee, I swear I'm interesting." Serendipity got released just a little bit ago and out of nowhere it's over half gone, before I even figured out how much I like it. These HHV are too smooth for their own good, like a quadruple distilled liquor that is 110 proof and goes down like water.

Another big surprise for me lately is Virginia Prime from HoL. I vaped it all evening and well into the afternoon the next day. I NEVER vape a juice that long, but that leafy tobacco just never got tiring.

Oh yeah that reminds me.. a bit back when I was trying to describe the aftertaste that I really liked from a couple juices from MOV, but couldn't think of the right word to describe it, I think leafy is it. It's the same thing I get from Virginia Prime but it's a lot stronger in VP than PenD or SunMorn. I forget who used leafy to describe VP but it clicked for me. That was one of those descriptive words that I had a hard time identifying, like woodsy. I need to eat more foliage.

"Leafy" is good. I originally referred to Dark Horse as having "vegetal" qualities, which, oddly enough, strikes me as not quite "leafy." I guess "vegetal" is more like "grassy," but "grassy" seemed to me to be slightly too suggestive and specific.
