NICK! Your ears must have been burning -- folks were pining to hear from you earlier this week. :D

Hope you're doing well!

Hey, nice to see you back in the scene, El! You were missed.

Life is hectic these days, in a good way. Lots going on. I also change my name around this time of year to Farmtastic and spend most of my free time out in the garden. I've also been handcrafting some e-pipes as well in my spare spare time.

I hope all of you NET heads are well. vape on.

I'm pretty new to vaping, and the whole reason I started was to quit smoking. It's been working out thus far with only a couple of slip ups. When vaping, I really only want tobacco flavors. I do not like all the fruity, candy, stuff out there. I have bought some HHV samples to start trying these NETs. So far a little dry and very soft flavor. I see a lot of discussion on this thread about 'steeping'. I am not sure what that is exactly, and why? Does it really make a difference? I'm a pretty impatient person by nature and when I buy something I want to use it right away. Deffinitely not want to wait 2 months. LOL.

In general... steeping is where you let the e-liquid set in a cool dark place for a period of time so the flavors can mary and blend together. The amount of time needed on each differs depending on the types of ingredients, some needing little or no steeping and some for a month or more. To start, open the top of the bottle so air gets into it for around 24-48hrs. Then cap it and place it in a dark cool location. Shake the bottles daily during the steep.

The type of bottle also makes a difference... Most of the plastic bottles will steep quicker and glass ones almost don't steep at all. Many will transfer out of the glass bottle into a plastic one, the amount they want to start steeping. There are other factors as well that determines how quickly it may steep such as nicotine level.

As I mentioned, not all e-liquids benefit... but those that do, it makes a really big difference.

Very strange thing going on in Michigan (I imagine it's specific to MI) right now. When you make a house-line call or cell phone call, the call either won't go through, or you get, clear as a bell, someone else's phone conversation (but only one side of it). The person speaking can't hear you (me), but you can hear them. I just accidentally heard half of a conversation from a doctor (maybe a pharmacist) to presumably a patient/customer and in another attempt to call my mother, I heard a lady speaking about the phone issues to someone--she was saying, "none of my phones are working properly." Strange. Very strange. I think I will stay off the phones for awhile. LOL

So I'm very new to all of this and was disappointed in the juices I had picked out on my own when I found this thread. I ordered the Patriot blend from GoodeJuice based on luceblueboy's description and it just arrived today-- all I can say is "holy cow that is freaking delicious!" I am vaping it right now. Seriously, I can't say how happy I am that I found this thread, keep up the great work!

Just got mine today, too. Just waiting for some replacement coil heads to come in tomorrow before I can try it out. I've been on the same ones for 2 weeks now, and want a fresh one for the fresh juices.

This is what I got from GoodeJuice:

Patriot
Wild Turkey
Organic #1
Wrangler light
Vita Bella
and a bottle of the non-NET High Octane, to see if it does taste like Torque 56 as some have stated. It certainly smells similiar.

Speaking of olfactory sensations, only Vita Bella had any odor/smell when I popped off the nipples. Surprised by that. Eager to sample some of these tomorrow.

I've got month old Patriot in my ProTank at home, and I can't wait to get back to it too. It's quite something else isn't it? :)

Prepare for your mind to be blown when it has steeped for a few weeks.

Hey Nick, glad to see ya pop in. Thanks for the heads up on the new NET from MOV. Any new NET from them is a must order for me.

Yeah, this one has me interested. I might give it a shot. I gotta say I'm really enjoying MyVapeJuice's Maple and Brown Sugar variation of Wicked Wench. I'm not looking to go too in depth right now, but it's a must try for the MVJ fans around here. Also, original Wicked Wench is pretty tasty too. Again, and as expected, these took about 2 months to become vapable for me. Worth the wait though.

Maple and Brown Sugar WW is the one I'm most looking forward to from MVJ. I'm still pretty loaded up on juice, but I'll make an order from them soon as they are long steepers. I don't think I've had a maple NET. I have the maple one from from CravinVapes but haven't dug into the juices I got from them yet. And of course, the maple aromatic from Ahlusion I'll try. So many NETs to get to, which is how I like it. If no other new juices ever get released I have enough to keep me from getting bored for a good couple years.

Technically, it's Natural/Extracted Tobacco, but it has morphed into Naturally Extracted Tobacco. We are so goofy. LOL

I'm going to called Ahlusion's tobaccos UETs -- unnaturally extracted tobacco. I'm convinced that Wlad is a sorcerer. Magic is the only reasonable explanation for some of his e-liquids.

Mr. Mann, in your visits to Ahlusion, did you notice is Wlad had a Dr. Strange cape or the Eye of Agamotto?

Ha! You say sorcery, I say dangerous and possibly immoral science, either way unnatural is the right word.

It's my personal bias. While I love sci-fi movies and videogames, I love sword-and-sorcery stuff a bit more.

Flame bait: Dragon Age > Mass Effect

But, but, I'm not talking sci-fi, I'm talking sci-REAL. Sure, sorcery is real too, it's how MM turns his Pluid green, but Wlad is a mad scientist.

I made up my story before you too, which means it's the more likely to be true. Occam's razor or something. :D
